Brand Overview

Three Putt Golf

Three Putt Golf is a UK golf streetwear brand based in Leeds. The range is deliberately narrow: tees, long-sleeve tees, sweatshirts and hoodies. Each comes in six graphic designs: Contours, Happy Place, Tee Time, Reckless Driving, The Scenic Route and Three on the Green.

That focus has limits, and it's worth being upfront about them. There are no performance polos, trousers, shorts, outerwear, waterproofs or caps, and no women's-specific range. Three Putt is golf culture you wear around the game, not kit for a wet November medal.

KJUS

KJUS was founded in 2000 by Norwegian alpine skier Lasse Kjus and Swiss entrepreneur Didi Serena. Golf Digest reported that the pair started the company the day after a round of golf. According to KJUS, Lasse won 16 Olympic and World Championship medals and two overall World Cup titles.

The brand began in skiwear, launching what it calls the industry's first stretch ski jacket. It moved into golf in 2013. Acushnet, the company behind Titleist and FootJoy, bought KJUS in July 2019. KJUS now lists its headquarters as Boulder, Colorado, while its UK online shop is run by its Swiss company.

The golf range covers men's and women's polos, midlayers, trousers, shorts, jackets and waterproofs. Rain gear is its strongest credential. In MyGolfSpy's Best Golf Rain Gear of 2026, which tested 21 jackets and hoodies, the KJUS Pro 3L 3.0 tied for Best Overall with the Abacus Pitch 37.5. Both scored 9.8. The KJUS Insulated Storm Jacket also won Best for Bad Weather.

These are cotton garments, not technical performance wear. They don't offer moisture-wicking, stretch technology or weather protection. What they offer is fabric weight and a relaxed streetwear shape, with the graphics doing the talking.

KJUS

• Hollow Pima Cotton: Pima cotton spun around a central fibre that is later dissolved, leaving a hollow core. KJUS says this improves breathability and keeps the yarn light. The Hollow Pima Polo adds four-way stretch, quick drying and an antibacterial finish.
• VaporTemp: a thermoregulating fabric used in midlayers such as the Shift Midlayer Half-Zip, which also carries UPF 50+ protection.
• Pro 3L 3.0 waterproofs: a three-layer Dermizax NX membrane rated to 20,000mm waterproofness and 30,000g/m² breathability. Stretch panels sit where the swing needs them, with rain gutters at the wrists and volcanic-lined pockets.
• Trousers: the Iver Tailored Fit trousers are four-way-stretch and water-repellent, with silicone tape inside the waistband.
• Cold weather: some pieces use graphene, which KJUS says spreads body heat to reduce cold spots.

Polos such as the Golfer Polo add UPF 50+ protection, moisture-wicking and an antibacterial finish. This is purpose-built golf kit, and it's the clear winner for performance on the course.

KJUS prices are from its UK site, where everything is shown in pounds with VAT included. UK retailers such as Scottsdale Golf list the same prices, for example £449 for the Pro 3L 3.0 jacket.

The gap is widest where the two brands overlap. The KJUS Hollow Pima Hoodie costs £219, about the same as four Three Putt hoodies at full price. A KJUS polo, at around £100, costs about the same as four Three Putt tees.

Price Verdict

Three Putt wins on price, clearly. KJUS sits at the top of the golf apparel market, and a single polo order also pays £9.50 delivery. For a waterproof you'll wear every winter, though, the KJUS price buys tested performance that cotton simply can't match.

Fit and Sizing

Each garment has one fit. Tees are relaxed and run from S to 2XL. Long-sleeve tees have an oversized drop-shoulder fit (S to XL), sweatshirts a regular fit and hoodies an oversized drop-shoulder fit (both S to 2XL). The shapes suit layering and everyday wear more than a tucked-in round.

KJUS

KJUS uses European sizing: XS is 44, S is 46, M is 48–50, L is 52, XL is 54–56 and XXL is 58. Its conversion chart puts a medium at a 38–40 inch UK chest. The range varies by style. The Golfer Polo runs S to XXL, while the Hollow Pima Polo and Pro 3L 3.0 jacket run XS to 3XL.

Midlayers and the Pro 3L 3.0 are regular fit. If you tuck your polo in, check the body length on the size chart before you order. The Iver trousers are tailored, with waist sizes from 30 to 42.

Fit Verdict

KJUS wins for golf. Its cuts are designed around the swing, and some styles run from XS to 3XL. Three Putt's relaxed and oversized shapes are built for comfort off the course. Check KJUS's chart carefully, as European sizes don't map neatly onto UK labels.

Style and Versatility

Three Putt Golf

Three Putt is golf streetwear. The six graphic designs nod to the game without looking like club uniform, and the tees and hoodies sit naturally with jeans or joggers. On the course, they suit relaxed rounds, the range and social golf. Golfers at clubs with a collared-shirt dress code will want a polo rather than a tee.

KJUS

KJUS looks clean and understated, with classic neutrals alongside seasonal colours such as Green Slate, Espresso and Vapor Blue. It also runs a separate lifestyle range. Its midlayers and jackets work well in smart-casual settings. The polos still read as golf polos, which is exactly what most members' clubs want.

Style Verdict

It's a split. KJUS is the better choice for a polished on-course look that also works at lunch afterwards. Three Putt wins for casual, off-course wear and for golfers who want their clothes to show a bit of personality.

Three Putt's quality story is about fabric weight: 305gsm tees, 305gsm long-sleeves, 400gsm sweatshirts and 430gsm hoodies. On sustainability, the honest answer is short. Three Putt makes no recycled-content or eco claims, and holds no sustainability certifications. Its tees are 100% cotton.

KJUS

KJUS backs its garments with a two-year warranty. Faulty items go to its repair service through the retailer, or through its online shop team if you bought direct. Independent testing supports the performance claims. MyGolfSpy said of the Insulated Storm Jacket: "You will not find a better golf rain jacket for wintery conditions."

On sustainability, KJUS lists PFC-free water-repellent finishes on pieces such as the Pro 3L 3.0 jacket and Iver trousers. The Regulator Jacket uses recycled synthetic down in its upper front. The corporate responsibility link on its site points to Titleist's page. We found no KJUS-specific certification or sustainability report.

Quality Verdict

KJUS wins on technical quality and backs it with a warranty and independent test results. Three Putt offers heavyweight cotton at a much lower price. Neither brand makes strong, verifiable sustainability claims, though KJUS has made some specific fabric choices.
