We test golf apparel the way we play. Hard, social, and honest.

B.Draddy: the family that gave America the alligator shirt now makes some of golf's softest polos. Heritage you can feel, at prices you'll notice.

How We Review Golf Clothing Brands

Every review on the Three Putt journal is written by Graeme Whiles, the founder of Three Putt Golf Clothing. As a competing brand, we have an obvious conflict of interest. We take this seriously and address it directly in our review methodology, which explains how we assess brands consistently regardless of whether they compete with us.

Verdict: 8.1/10

B.Draddy is a US golf brand founded in 2013 by Billy Draddy, whose great-uncle Vincent dePaul Draddy built Izod and brought Lacoste's alligator to America. We liked the Peruvian Pima polos that soften with wear, a knitwear range that climbs to Scottish cashmere, and sizing that now reaches 3XL on many styles.

The establishment credentials match the story. B.Draddy outfitted both teams at the 2026 Presidents Cup at Medinah and the US Solheim Cup team in September 2026. Its ambassadors include Open champions Brian Harman and Justin Leonard, and Europe's 2014 Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley.

Where it falls short for UK golfers: £85–£106 polos before VAT and delivery, no UK stockists, and no published UK shipping or duty terms. Cotton-first fabrics prefer the clubhouse to a heatwave, and everything in the sale is final sale.

This brand is best for golfers who want Peter Millar-grade luxury with a better origin story, and don't mind importing it.

Key Features

  • Signature tech/fabric: Peruvian Pima cotton (92% Pima / 8% spandex polos, made in Peru), Italian merino, Scottish cashmere, and the ceramic-coated COOL FABRIC performance line
  • Design language: Vintage country-club ease: sun-faded colours and luxe, lived-in essentials
  • Fit profile: Modern tailored fit, true to size; size up if you're between sizes
  • Range depth: Men's, women's (including Draddy Sport for Women, launched March 2026), juniors and baby, plus Presidents Cup and Solheim Cup team collections

Pros

  • The Pima cotton polos are among the softest in golf, and they get softer with wear
  • Unmatched heritage: the founding family built Izod and brought Lacoste to America
  • Real establishment pedigree: 2026 Presidents Cup and US Solheim Cup uniforms, two Open champions on the roster
  • Knitwear depth, from £119 quarter-zips to £572 Scottish cashmere

Cons

  • Premium pricing: £85–£106 polos and a £214 hoodie, before UK VAT and delivery
  • No UK stockists, and no published UK shipping or duty terms
  • Cotton-forward fabrics run warm and casual next to technical rivals
  • Free return shipping only if you pay for coverage at checkout, and sale items are final sale

B.Draddy Pricing

B.Draddy prices like the luxury house it descends from. Pick United Kingdom in the site's country selector and prices switch to pounds: £85 for the Liam polo, £91 for the Tommy, £119–£135 for quarter-zips and £572 for the Elliott Scottish cashmere quarter-zip.

Those pounds are a straight conversion of the US price with no UK VAT added. The site doesn't say what UK delivery costs, or whether import VAT and duty are collected at checkout or on your doorstep.

Category Entry Typical Premium
Polos/Tees £62 £85–£91 £106+
Midlayers £119 £135 £238+
Trousers/Shorts £83 £93–£129 £150
Outerwear £196 £238–£250 £465
Caps £30 £30 £30

Prices from bdraddy.com with United Kingdom selected, October 2026, before VAT and delivery: Dewey tee £62, Liam polo £85, Tommy £91, Captain Cool £99–£106, henleys £76–£102; Doc quarter-zip £119, Jack £135, Andy Cotton Hoodie £214, Schoen merino £238, Elliott cashmere £572; Cool Crum short £83, Big Daddy short £93, Zac Short £112, Ambassador Pant £129, Michael corduroy £137, Brian chino £150; Duke vest £196, Everyday Jacket £238, Bradshaw £250, Eli vest £298, new Autumn 2026 jackets about £384–£465; hats £30.

Comparison:

  • B.Draddy vs Three Putt: Old money versus new energy. B.Draddy sells £85 heirloom-soft Pima polos to the member-guest crowd. Three Putt is a UK golf streetwear brand with tees from £23.99, heavyweight hoodies under £52 and free UK delivery, for golfers who'd rather spend the difference on green fees.
  • B.Draddy vs Peter Millar: The comparison reviewers keep making: National Club Golfer said B.Draddy's quality felt similar to Peter Millar's polos. Peter Millar is far easier to buy in the UK, at £85–£130 from UK stockists; B.Draddy has the better origin story and the Peruvian Pima.
  • B.Draddy vs Sunday Swagger: The full spectrum of American golfwear in one comparison: $64 party prints against $118 quiet luxury. Different golfers, different wardrobes, different centuries of inspiration.
  • B.Draddy vs Macade Golf: The premium heavyweight bout. Macade is technical Scandi modernism with joggers and duties-paid UK delivery; B.Draddy is natural-fibre American classicism with deeper heritage but a harder UK buying journey. Similar spend, opposite aesthetics.

Promos/Outlet Notes: A permanent sale section runs 30% off selected colourways (the Captain Cool polo drops from $128 to $89.60), but everything in it is final sale, so there's no sending it back. US delivery is free over $200.

Verdict: 6.6/10

Fair value against Peter Millar and Holderness & Bourne on fabric quality. For UK buyers, though, the missing shipping and duty terms and zero local stockists make every order a small act of faith.

B.Draddy Fit & Sizing (Usability)

B.Draddy cuts what Golf Digest's Marty Hackel called a "modern, tailored fit": trimmer than old-school country club, softer than tour-athletic. Owners say it's true to size, with the standard advice to go up if you're between sizes.

Notes:

  • Polos/Tees: True to size with a tailored drape. The Pima relaxes slightly with wear, so don't size down chasing a slim look. The Liam runs S–2XL; the Captain Cool goes to 3XL.
  • Midlayers: Quarter-zips and sweaters run true; the Andy Cotton Hoodie is cut for layering over a polo.
  • Trousers/Shorts: Shorts span £83–£112 across cotton and COOL FABRIC; trousers now run to the Ambassador Pant, Michael corduroy and Brian chino.
  • Outerwear: Jackets and vests fit like premium casualwear rather than golf shells.
  • Heat/Humidity: The honest trade-off: cotton-rich pieces run warmer than synthetics. The ceramic-yarn COOL FABRIC line is the hot-weather answer.
  • Size Charts: Standard per-product guides; adequate rather than exceptional.

Accessibility/Range:

  • Men's S–2XL on core polos, 3XL on many styles (Captain Cool, John Henley) and up to 5XL on a few (Elliott, Eli Vest, CB Polo). A big-and-tall collection page exists but is empty.
  • Women's XS–XL (some styles 2XL), including dresses at $160–$170 and the Draddy Sport for Women line launched in March 2026.
  • Juniors and baby lines, plus a $120 toddler golf bag made with Charlie Golf.

Verdict: 8.3/10

A flattering tailored cut that's true to size, with wider sizing than it gets credit for, though the size range varies from style to style.

B.Draddy Core Product Categories

Polos & Tees

The reason the brand exists. The Liam (£85) and Tommy (£91) cotton polos use 92% Peruvian Pima and 8% spandex, made in Peru: "very soft Pima cotton with a bit of stretch", as Practical Golf put it. The Captain Cool sport polos (£99–£106) add ceramic-coated COOL FABRIC for summer. The Dewey tee (£62) and henleys (£76–£102) extend the lived-in luxury downwards.

Verdict: 8.5/10

Model in a blue and grey striped B.Draddy knit crewneck

Midlayers (crews/hoodies/half-zips)

A proper luxury knitwear department: the Doc quarter-zip (£119), the Jack cotton quarter-zip (£135), the Andy Cotton Hoodie (£214), Schoen Italian merino (£238) and the Elliott Scottish cashmere quarter-zip (£572), with women's cashmere reaching £649. Few golf brands sell knitwear this serious.

Verdict: 8.3/10

Model in a light blue B.Draddy full-zip hoodie over a striped polo

Trousers/Shorts

Shorts are strong: the Big Daddy stretch cotton short (£93, often on sale), the Cool Crum (£83) and the Zac Short (£112). Trousers have improved since the brand leaned on a single pant: the Ambassador Pant (£129) now sits alongside the Michael corduroy (£137), the Brian chino (£150) and the Russ sweatpant for off-course. It's still a short list next to the knitwear.

Verdict: 7.8/10

Navy B.Draddy shorts worn with a brown leather and plaid belt

Outerwear

Autumn 2026 filled the biggest gap in the range. The Everyday Jacket (£238) and Bradshaw quilted shirt jacket (£250) are now joined by a waxed cotton jacket, a Baruffa merino wind jacket and two down jackets at roughly £384–£465, plus vests from £196. All handsome, none sold as a golf waterproof: Summit Golf Brands routes rain gear to sister label Zero Restriction.

Verdict: 7.9/10

Caps & Accessories

The thinnest category: £30 hats, underwear, gift cards and the toddler golf bag. The Presidents Cup and Solheim Cup team collections do the accessorising instead.

Verdict: 6.6/10

B.Draddy Materials & Tech (Construction, Sustainability)

B.Draddy's material story is the inverse of most technical golf brands: natural fibres first, synthetics only where they earn their place. It's a genuine point of difference, with genuine trade-offs.

Backend (manufacturing & standards):

  • Core polos are made in Peru from Peruvian Pima cotton, stated on hundreds of product pages: rare origin transparency.
  • The sustainability page claims OEKO-TEX certified mills and Fair Trade certification but publishes no certificate numbers. The "organic" Pima claim appears in marketing copy, not the fabric spec, with no GOTS certificate.
  • Parent Summit Golf Brands (also Fairway & Greene and Zero Restriction) runs 70,000+ sq ft of distribution and embroidery in Wisconsin with 200+ embroidery heads. Chad Delp is Chairman and CEO; Billy Draddy is Summit's Creative Director.

Application (on-garment features):

  • Polos: 92% Peruvian Pima / 8% spandex: soft, stretchy, and better with age.
  • COOL FABRIC: ceramic-coated yarn that the brand says is "instantly cool to the touch", across the Cool Collection.
  • Knits: Italian merino, Baruffa merino and Scottish cashmere at the top of the ladder.
  • Outerwear: quilted jersey, waxed cotton and down.
  • UPF: UPF 50 on some women's pieces, such as the Kenia dress.

Verdict: 8.4/10

The best natural-fibre programme in golf apparel, with real origin transparency on the cotton. It's short of a top score because the certification claims come without certificate numbers, and because cotton has its limits on the course.

B.Draddy Customer Support

A traditional operation with a phone line and published hours, plus the modern annoyance of paid return coverage. UK buyers face the usual premium-US-brand puzzle: the site will show you pounds, but not what delivery or import charges will add.

Channels & Hours

  • Phone (833) 511-0965, Monday to Friday 9am–5:30pm Eastern, plus customercare@bdraddy.com and a contact form.
  • No live chat.
  • Custom orders for clubs and events.

Policies

  • 30-day returns for unworn, non-decorated items bought direct. The returns page counts from purchase; other pages say from delivery.
  • Free return shipping only with the "Complimentary Returns Coverage" add-on at checkout; otherwise a $10 processing fee plus the label cost. Refunds take up to 14 business days.
  • Sale items are final sale.
  • International returns are accepted, but you pay the return shipping.
  • Pro shop and retailer purchases go back to the seller.

Self-Serve

  • US: UPS Ground free over $200 ($10 under), 3–5 business days; 2-Day $20, Next-Day $40.
  • UK: a GBP option in the country selector, but no published UK rates, delivery times or duty handling. On orders over £135, expect import VAT and customs duty, usually collected by the courier with a handling fee, unless checkout says they're included.
  • No UK stockists found. In the US, Saint Bernard still carries the range.

Verdict: 7.0/10

Proper phone-line service and clear domestic policies, but the pay-for-free-returns mechanic, the final-sale sale and the information vacuum around UK orders cost it. At £85 a polo, the buyer shouldn't be doing the customs maths alone.

What Are B.Draddy's Review Ratings from Review Sites?

(As of October 2026)

  • Trustpilot: An unclaimed profile with no reviews. The brand's review presence lives on its Reviews.io feed: 4.80/5 from 613 reviews.
  • Editorial: Golf Digest's Marty Hackel introduced the brand in 2013 as "a modern take on a classic polo". National Club Golfer (April 2026) said the quality felt similar to the Peter Millar polos its tester had reviewed. MyGolfSpy's style expert Isaiah McGahee (March 2026) called his B.Draddy polo "a shirt I bought without hesitation".
  • Forums: The consistent verdict across golf forums: among the best-feeling shirts in golf, better suited to cooler weather than tech fabrics, priced accordingly.
  • Establishment Signals: Official Uniform and Apparel Provider at the 2024 and 2026 Presidents Cups (the USA won 17–13 at Medinah in September 2026), and US Solheim Cup outfitter for 2026 and 2028. The roster includes Brian Harman, Justin Leonard, Paul McGinley, Brad Faxon, Victor Perez, Taylor Moore, Zac Blair, Bronson Burgoon and Carson Young. Add a Coolmore thoroughbred-racing partnership (May 2026), 3,000+ stockist accounts in 25+ countries, and a modest 42K Instagram following: this brand's audience isn't on the feed, it's in the clubhouse.

Synthesis:

Universal respect for the product, near-zero mainstream noise. B.Draddy's reputation is carried by pro shops, tour uniforms and people who touch the fabric: the opposite of influencer golfwear, and priced with the confidence of a brand that knows it.

Is B.Draddy a Good Golf Brand?

Yes, B.Draddy is an excellent golf brand: the most authentic heritage story in modern golfwear, backed by fabric that justifies the folklore. The Pima polos and cashmere-tier knitwear are as good as this category gets, and the Presidents Cup pedigree is earned, not bought. The trade-offs are steep prices, a US-centric buying experience with no UK stockists or published UK shipping terms, cotton's hot-weather limits, and a sale section you can't return. If you want golfwear with personality and no import calculator, Three Putt's heavyweight golf tees and hoodies come from a UK brand with free UK delivery. Frequently Asked Questions About B.Draddy

Who owns B.Draddy?

B.Draddy is one of three brands under Summit Golf Brands, alongside Fairway & Greene and Zero Restriction, led by Chairman and CEO Chad Delp. It was founded in 2013 by Billy Draddy, now Summit's Creative Director. The name is shorthand for "Brothers Draddy".

What is the Draddy family's golf connection?

Billy Draddy is the third generation of Draddys in sportswear. His great-uncle Vincent dePaul Draddy bought the Izod name in the late 1930s and paired it with Lacoste from 1952, effectively creating America's "alligator shirt" and dressing Eisenhower, Bing Crosby and JFK.

Did B.Draddy make the Presidents Cup uniforms?

Yes. B.Draddy was the Official Uniform and Apparel Provider for both teams at the 2026 Presidents Cup at Medinah (24–27 September), which the USA won 17–13, as it was in 2024. It also outfitted the US Solheim Cup team in September 2026, a deal that runs to 2028.

Where is B.Draddy made?

The core polos are made in Peru from Peruvian Pima cotton, as stated on hundreds of product pages. Distribution and embroidery run from Summit Golf Brands' facilities in Wisconsin. The sustainability page also claims OEKO-TEX certified mills and Fair Trade certification.

Do any professional golfers wear B.Draddy?

Yes. Its ambassadors include Open champions Brian Harman and Justin Leonard, Europe's 2014 Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley, Brad Faxon, Victor Perez, Taylor Moore, Zac Blair, Bronson Burgoon and Carson Young.

How does B.Draddy sizing run?

True to size with a modern tailored cut; size up if you're between sizes. Core polos run S–2XL, many styles go to 3XL and a few to 5XL. Women's sizes run XS–XL, with some styles in 2XL.

Does B.Draddy ship to the UK?

The site has a UK option that shows prices in pounds and accepts UK orders, but it publishes no UK shipping rates or duty terms. Prices shown exclude UK VAT, so expect import charges on orders over £135, and you pay return postage yourself. There are no UK stockists.

Is B.Draddy good quality?

Yes: 4.80/5 across 613 Reviews.io reviews, National Club Golfer comparing it to Peter Millar, and materials running from Peruvian Pima to Italian merino and Scottish cashmere. The main caveats are premium pricing and cotton's limits in serious heat.

What is B.Draddy's return policy?

30 days for unworn, non-decorated items bought directly from bdraddy.com. Return shipping is free only if you added returns coverage at checkout; otherwise it's a $10 fee plus the label cost, and refunds take up to 14 business days. Sale items are final sale.
