Birddogs
Birddogs is a New York brand founded by Peter Baldwin and Chris Mason, with Baldwin leading the business as CEO. It says it invented gym shorts with a built-in liner, designed to be worn without underwear. The pair pitched the idea on Shark Tank in 2017, left without a deal and grew the business anyway.
Golf came later. The range has grown to include NoFlop golf polos, Golf Shorts, 3-in-1 khaki shorts, GHØST chinos and quarter-zips, alongside gym shorts, swim shorts, tees and hats. Its store listed 206 products in October 2026, with no women's or kids' lines.
The humour is part of the product. Every colourway carries a joke name, so the black heather NoFlop polo is "The Tiger Woulds".
For UK golfers, the practical details matter more. Birddogs ships from Newark, Delaware, and its FAQ lists the UK as a delivery country alongside the US and Australia. UK visitors see prices in US dollars. American Golf, Function18 and GolfOnline listed no Birddogs products in October 2026.

- Trousers: the GHØST chinos are Birddogs' stretch golf trousers, sold by waist and leg length.
- Layers: quarter-zips, plus Performance and SuperSoft hoodies. The Performance Hoodie is 53% polyester, 38% modal and 9% spandex.
What Birddogs doesn't make is anything for bad weather. There are no jackets or waterproofs, so its warmest layers are quarter-zips and hoodies.

Birddogs prices are the US-dollar prices its store showed a UK visitor in October 2026, converted at about $1.30 to the pound. They exclude shipping and import charges.
