Bogey Bros vs Three Putt: Funny Performance Polos or Heavyweight UK Streetwear

We test golf apparel the way we play. Hard, social, and honest.

A Texas brand that hides the joke in a stretch performance polo, against a Leeds label that puts golf graphics on heavyweight cotton. Here's who should buy which.
How We Review Golf Clothing Brands
Every review on the Three Putt journal is written by Graeme Whiles, the founder of Three Putt Golf Clothing. As a competing brand, we have an obvious conflict of interest. We take this seriously and address it directly in our review methodology, which explains how we assess brands consistently regardless of whether they compete with us.
Verdict and Quick Pick
Bogey Bros is a Texas golf brand selling joke-print performance polos, Q-zips, hoodies and hats, shipped to the UK for £12.95 with duties unpaid. Three Putt is a Leeds golf streetwear brand selling long-sleeves and heavyweight cotton tees, sweatshirts and hoodies with free UK delivery. Buy Bogey Bros for the course and Three Putt for off it.
Best for heavyweight golf streetwear with free UK delivery: Three Putt. Tees from £24.99 in 305gsm cotton and 430gsm hoodies from £45.99, delivered free in the UK. It is casual wear, not performance kit.

Brand Overview
Three Putt Golf
Three Putt Golf is a UK golf streetwear brand based in Leeds. Its streetwear comes as tees, long-sleeve tees, sweatshirts and hoodies. Each comes in six graphic designs: Contours, Happy Place, Tee Time, Reckless Driving, The Scenic Route and Three on the Green.
The limits are worth stating plainly. There are no performance polos, trousers, shorts, outerwear, waterproofs or caps, and no women's-specific range. Three Putt is golf culture to wear around the game, not kit for a wet medal round.
Bogey Bros
Bogey Bros started on a golf trip. Brothers-in-law John Koehler and Ryan Rizos turned their on-course jokes into hat designs, and the hats sold well enough to expand into polos. The brand launched in 2020 and is based in Spring, Texas, where it ships every order from its own warehouse.
Its about page says the founders love golf but "can't stand the stuffy culture" around it. The store's tagline is "The Best Golf Brand on the Internet... probably." Inc. ranked it No. 49 on the 2025 Inc. 5000, with 5,540% three-year growth.
The polos are the product. Prints are sorted into SFW, SFW-ish and NSFW collections, and the best known, the Whale Tail, looks conventional from a distance and is anything but up close. Buyers rate it highly: the store showed 4.9 from more than 13,000 verified reviews in October 2026.

Key Features and Fabrics
Three Putt Golf
- Tees: 100% cotton, 305gsm, relaxed fit, in five colourways per design.
- Long-sleeve tees: 305gsm, 100% cotton, with a loose drop-shoulder fit.
- Sweatshirts: 400gsm cotton crewnecks in a regular fit.
- Hoodies: 430gsm, 56% cotton and 44% polyester, with an oversized drop-shoulder fit, in four colourways per design.
These are cotton garments, not technical performance wear. They don't offer moisture-wicking, stretch technology or weather protection. What they offer is fabric weight and a relaxed streetwear shape, with the graphics doing the talking.
Bogey Bros
- Polos: 92% polyester and 8% spandex, described as super stretchy and moisture-wicking, with UPF 50 sun protection, a tagless neck and an athletic fit.
- Q-zips: the same 92/8 stretch fabric with a heavy-duty YKK zip, in plain solid colours.
- Hoodies: also 92/8 and moisture-wicking, with large side-seam pockets, a drawcord and side slits with a shirt-tail hem.
- Tees: a light 4.3oz (145gsm) jersey in 60% cotton and 40% polyester, athletic fit and tagless.
- Accessories: printed golf gloves, driver and putter headcovers, towels and ball markers, carrying the same jokes as the polos.
The two brands make hoodies for different jobs. A Bogey Bros hoodie is a stretch performance layer you can swing in. A Three Putt hoodie is 430gsm cotton-poly built for warmth. The tee gap is wider still: Three Putt's 305gsm cotton is almost twice the weight of Bogey Bros' 145gsm jersey.
Price Comparison
| Category | Three Putt | Bogey Bros (UK store, full price) |

| Sweatshirts | £37.99–£47.99 | Not sold |

| Accessories | Not sold | Gloves £22–£23, headcovers from £30, towels from £23, ball markers from £10 |
| UK delivery | Free | £12.95, duties and taxes not collected at checkout |
Bogey Bros shows UK visitors prices in pounds, but delivery costs £12.95 and duties and taxes are not collected at checkout. Its shipping policy notes that the UK charges no import duty on orders under £135. Any duties or taxes customs does charge are paid to the carrier.
Worked through, a £54 polo costs £66.95 delivered, before any customs charge, and a £69 hoodie £81.95. A Three Putt hoodie costs £45.99–£54.99, delivered free. Tees are closer: £30 plus delivery at Bogey Bros, against £24.99–£30.99 at Three Putt.
Bogey Bros offers bundle discounts on multi-item orders. In October 2026 it was also running an anniversary sale, so the full prices above are the fair comparison.
Price Verdict
Three Putt wins on price for the garments both brands make, and free UK delivery helps on small orders. Bogey Bros earns credit for its polos: £54 is fair money for a stretch performance polo with UPF 50, and Three Putt doesn't make one at any price.
Fit and Sizing
Three Putt Golf
Each garment has one fit. Tees are relaxed and run from S to 2XL. Long-sleeve tees have an oversized drop-shoulder fit (S to XL), sweatshirts a regular fit and hoodies an oversized drop-shoulder fit (both S to 2XL). The shapes suit layering and everyday wear more than a tucked-in round.
Bogey Bros
Bogey Bros cuts its polos and tees on the slim side, and says so. Its polo fit guide says they "fit a little thinner than you might be used to". The advice is to size up if unsure, and the tee guide recommends sizing up outright.
The Q-zips and hoodies are different. Their fit guides call them regular fit, designed to fit true to size. Men's polos, tees, Q-zips and hoodies all run S–3XL, with the polo chart spanning a 41–57 inch chest. Women's polos run XS–XXL.
Every polo and hat page carries a size chart. Our Bogey Bros review notes that the hats run big.
Fit Verdict
A split. Bogey Bros covers more bodies, with hoodies to 3XL and a women's polo range. Three Putt's relaxed and oversized cuts are more forgiving if you sit between sizes. With Bogey Bros, getting the size right first time matters, because a UK return goes back at your cost.
Style and Versatility
Three Putt Golf
Three Putt is golf streetwear built around six graphic designs, each across a hoodie, sweatshirt, tee and long sleeve, so a tee and a hoodie can match. Tees come in five colourways per design and hoodies in four. They sit naturally with jeans or joggers, and suit relaxed rounds, the range and social golf. Golfers at clubs with a collared-shirt dress code will want a polo rather than a tee.
Bogey Bros
Bogey Bros is a statement polo brand. The joke is the point, and the SFW, SFW-ish and NSFW filter lets you choose how far to push it. The SFW prints and plain solid polos are the safe choice for a club with a dress code. The NSFW ones are built for golf trips and stag days, not the monthly medal.
The Q-zips and hoodies come in plain solid colours, so they calm a loud polo rather than compete with it. Off the course, the polos still read as golf kit, which suits a clubhouse more than a night out.
Style Verdict
It depends where you'll wear it. Bogey Bros wins on the course, especially for a group that wants matching mischief. Three Putt wins away from it, with golf graphics on clothes that work with jeans.

Quality, Durability and Sustainability
Three Putt Golf
Three Putt's quality story is about fabric weight: 305gsm tees, 305gsm long-sleeves, 400gsm sweatshirts and 430gsm hoodies. On sustainability, the honest answer is short. Three Putt makes no recycled-content or eco claims, and holds no sustainability certifications. Its tees are 100% cotton.
Bogey Bros
Bogey Bros has the review volume to back its fabric. The store showed 4.9 from more than 13,000 verified reviews in October 2026, and the Whale Tail polo alone held 4.9 from more than 2,100. On Trustpilot, it had 4.7 from 2,402 reviews in October 2026.
The details are good for a humour brand: tagless necks, UPF 50 on the polos and heavy-duty YKK zips on the Q-zips. There is no sustainability page, and none of its product listings make a recycled-content claim. The listings don't state where the garments are made.
Quality Verdict
Bogey Bros wins on technical fabric and on proof, with thousands of buyers rating the polos highly. Three Putt wins on weight, with a 305gsm cotton tee against Bogey Bros' 145gsm cotton-poly one. Neither brand makes a meaningful sustainability claim.
Customer Support and Returns
Three Putt Golf
UK delivery is free on every order. Support is by email at support@threeputtgolfclothing.co.uk. You can return items within 14 days of delivery: email support first, and note that you pay the return postage.
Bogey Bros
Support runs by email at hello@bogeybros.co or a contact form, and its contact page says replies usually come "within a few (working) hours". The FAQ gives service hours of 7am to 3:30pm US Central time. On delivery, the shipping policy quotes 6–10 business days after dispatch, while the FAQ says three to four weeks.
The refund policy gives you 30 days after receiving an item to request a return or exchange. Items must be unworn, tagged and in their original packaging, and hats go back in a box. Free returns and exchanges are for US orders only, so international customers buy their own return label. Original shipping costs aren't refunded, and approved refunds are paid within 10 business days.
Support Verdict
Bogey Bros gives the longer window, 30 days against Three Putt's 14, and publishes its service hours. In both cases a UK buyer pays the return postage, and a Bogey Bros return is an international parcel to Texas. Three Putt's free delivery makes it the simpler purchase for a small UK order.
Our Pick
Buy Bogey Bros if you want a funny polo that performs: 92/8 stretch fabric, UPF 50 and a print the whole fourball will notice. It is also the pick for a women's polo, a matching cap or a group golf trip. Budget £12.95 for delivery and size up if unsure. Our full Bogey Bros review covers the range in more depth.
Buy Three Putt if you want golf style off the course for less: graphic tees from £24.99, long-sleeve tees, sweatshirts and 430gsm hoodies, delivered free in the UK. Every garment comes in the same six designs.
Plenty of golfers will sensibly own both: a Bogey Bros polo for the round and a Three Putt hoodie for afterwards. Neither brand sells trousers or shorts, so bottoms come from elsewhere either way. For more US labels, see our guide to American golf brands.

Frequently Asked Questions About Three Putt vs Bogey Bros
Is Three Putt a good alternative to Bogey Bros?
For tees and hoodies, yes. They cost less, the tees are far heavier (305gsm cotton against 145gsm cotton-poly) and UK delivery is free. For a polo, Q-zip, cap or glove, no. Three Putt doesn't make them, and performance polos are what Bogey Bros does best.
Which brand is better on the course?
Bogey Bros. Its polos, Q-zips and hoodies use 92% polyester and 8% spandex stretch fabric that wicks moisture, and the polos carry UPF 50. Three Putt's cotton tees and hoodies suit casual rounds and the range.
Is Bogey Bros the same as Bogey Boys?
No. Bogey Bros is the Texas humour brand at bogeybros.co, founded by John Koehler and Ryan Rizos. Bogey Boys is Macklemore's vintage-inspired golf label. The names are one letter apart, but the companies, styles and prices are completely different. We cover the other brand in our Bogey Boys review.
Is Three Putt good quality?
Three Putt uses heavyweight fabrics for what it makes: 100% cotton 305gsm tees, 305gsm long-sleeves, 400gsm cotton sweatshirts and 430gsm hoodies. They are casual cotton garments rather than performance wear. Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery if something isn't right, after you've emailed support.
How do the fits differ?
In opposite directions. Bogey Bros cuts its polos and tees athletic and slim, and advises sizing up. Its Q-zips and hoodies are regular fit. Three Putt's tees are relaxed and its hoodies oversized with dropped shoulders. Bogey Bros runs to 3XL across its men’s tops, while Three Putt stops at 2XL.
Which is better value for a UK golfer?
For tees and hoodies, Three Putt. A £69 Bogey Bros hoodie costs £81.95 with UK delivery, against £45.99–£54.99 delivered free for a 430gsm Three Putt hoodie. For polos, Bogey Bros is fair value at £54 for a stretch performance polo.
Does Bogey Bros ship to the UK?
Yes. UK orders go by UPS Worldwide Economy for £12.95, Delivery Duty Unpaid. Duties and taxes aren't collected at checkout; any that customs charges are paid to the carrier, though the policy notes no UK import duty under £135. The shipping policy quotes 6–10 business days after dispatch, while its FAQ says three to four weeks.
Are Bogey Bros and Three Putt sustainable?
Neither makes sustainability claims. Bogey Bros has no sustainability page, and its product listings make no recycled-content claims or say where the garments are made. Three Putt makes no recycled-content or eco claims; its tees are 100% cotton. If sustainability drives your choice, look at other brands.
