First Tee Golf Quarter-Zip

First Tee carries our hand-drawn TPG pennant on the left chest, beside the zip, and nothing else: the T and the P on square flags and the G on a pennant, like bunting strung up for the first tee. The zip placket is white on the Forest Green, Navy and Black, and navy on the White.

Material: 61.9% cotton, 38.1% polyester outer · 100% polyester inner · 380gsm (11.2oz)

Weight class: A proper midlayer: warmer than a polo, lighter and slimmer than our hoodies.

Construction: Regular fit, stand collar, quarter-length zip with a contrast placket, set-in sleeves, ribbed cuffs and hem

Care: Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry on low. Iron on low heat, avoiding the print. Do not bleach. Do not dry clean.

The First Tee quarter-zip is a regular fit: slimmer than our sweatshirts and much closer than our oversized hoodies, so it doesn't flap about in the swing. Take your usual size for a close fit over a polo, or size up one if you want room for a thicker layer underneath.

For comparison, a size L is 58cm across the chest, against 61cm for our size L sweatshirt and 57.5cm for our size L Pin High polo.

Yes. A quarter-zip over a collared polo is standard golf kit at most clubs, and with no hood there's nothing for a dress code to object to. Dress codes are set club by club, though, so check yours before a competition.

It's a regular fit, closer to the body than our sweatshirts and hoodies. Take your usual size for a close fit over a polo, or size up one for more room. Sizes run from S to 3XL.

On its own it's a layer for cool spring and autumn rounds. In winter, wear it over a polo and under a waterproof, or add a gilet over the top: our Halfway Hut gilet is cut with room to go over it in your usual size.
