The Scenic Route Golf Streetwear Sweatshirt

The Scenic Route back print is a hand-drawn vista of a classic course: a golfer mid-swing, the clubhouse on the rise, pines framing the fairway, a cart waiting and birds over a low sun, with "Three Putt Golf" in script above. Our cow, carrying its golf bag, sits on the front-left chest. A tribute to taking the long way round, when the view matters more than the number at the end.

Material: 100% cotton · 400gsm (11.8oz)

Weight class: Heavyweight, our heaviest pure-cotton fabric. Noticeably thicker and more substantial than most golf sweatshirts.

Construction: Regular fit, round neckline, long sleeve, ribbed hem and cuffs

Care: Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry on low. Iron on low heat, and avoid ironing directly on print areas. Do not bleach. Do not dry clean.

This sweatshirt follows a regular fit: not oversized like our hoodies, and not slim. It's designed to sit comfortably without excess bulk, ideal for layering under a jacket or wearing on its own.

Every Three Putt piece is tested on-course before it goes on sale. This sweatshirt has been through wear tests across West Yorkshire courses through autumn and winter, the season most golf brands forget about when they're designing thin, fair-weather kit.

Both have their place. Our golf hoodies are built for maximum warmth and a streetwear silhouette. This crewneck is the cleaner, more versatile option. It layers better under jackets, sits smarter in the clubhouse, and works as a standalone piece in milder weather. If you want the hood for wind protection and a more relaxed style, go hoodie. If you want pure cotton warmth in a cleaner cut, go crewneck. Some golfers buy both and rotate depending on the round.

At most clubs, yes, and with no hood a crewneck avoids the hood rules some clubs still have. Dress codes are set club by club, though: some ask for a collared shirt under any sweater, and a few only allow golf-branded tops, so check yours before a competition. The course scene is on the back, so from the front it's just our cow and its golf bag on the chest.

Not at all. 400gsm is heavyweight by clothing standards, but 100% cotton at this weight breathes better than you'd expect. You won't overheat walking the course in autumn or spring. In winter it's the perfect mid layer under a waterproof or gilet. The weight is about quality and longevity: it holds its shape, colour and structure far longer than a lighter alternative.

Different intentionally. Our hoodies follow an oversized, drop-shoulder fit. This sweatshirt is a regular fit: closer to the body, cleaner lines, no excess bulk, designed to layer comfortably under a golf jacket or gilet. If you wear a Medium in our hoodies, you'll likely wear a Medium in this too, but the silhouette will be noticeably different.

Yes, and it's the classic way to wear a crewneck on the course: polo underneath, collar out over the neckline. It also covers the clubs that want a collar under any jumper. Any of our polos, from The Caddie to Pin High, works with it.

Not even slightly. Three Putt is for anyone who enjoys golf, whether that means a weekly medal, a monthly round with mates, or just hitting balls at the driving range. Most golf apparel brands design for golfers who play three times a week. We design for the ones who play when they can, however they can, and want to look good doing it.
