Honest Reflo Golf Clothing Review 2026 | Three Putt Golf

We test golf apparel the way we play. Hard, social, and honest.

Recycled performance golfwear with Harry Kane's money behind it and The Open's licence on the label. Big green promises, mostly kept.
How We Review Golf Clothing Brands
Every review on the Three Putt journal is written by Graeme Whiles, the founder of Three Putt Golf Clothing. As a competing brand, we have an obvious conflict of interest. We take this seriously and address it directly in our review methodology, which explains how we assess brands consistently regardless of whether they compete with us.
Verdict: 7.6/10
Reflo is a British sustainable sportswear brand, founded in 2021, that makes golf polos, trousers and layers mostly from recycled polyester. We liked the £49 Bohai polo, the coffee-yarn Sidra chinos, the officially licensed Open capsule, free UK returns and exchanges, and a 4.7/5 average across 377 on-site reviews.
The backing is serious too. England captain Harry Kane led its seed round in 2024 and is its global brand ambassador, and the teamkit partner list now runs from Jaguar TCS Racing to Atlassian Williams F1.
Where it falls short for UK golfers: prices have climbed, with polos now up to £79 and trousers up to £99. Recycled content ranges from 42% to 100% depending on the garment, there's no women's golf range, and support is email-only on weekdays.
This brand is best for golfers who want technical, low-key kit with a credible recycled story, and who'd happily wear the same polo to the gym.
Key Features
- Signature tech/fabric: Recycled polyester as standard (100% in the Bohai, Yamuna and Makalu polos), S.Café coffee yarn, Repreve recycled insulation and partly plant-based Sorona fibre in the new Air pieces
- Design language: Clean, tonal performancewear in muted colours; the louder graphics are saved for partner collections
- Fit profile: Product pages label garments "Regular Fit" or "Athletic Fit"; four-way stretch runs through most polos and trousers
- Range depth: 57 products in the golf collection: polos, tees, chinos, trousers, shorts, quarter-zips, hoodies, gilets, light jackets, caps and a belt, plus licensed and partner capsules
Pros
- A £49 polo in 100% recycled polyester with a UPF 50+ claim: sharp value for performance fabric
- Officially licensed by The R&A for a second straight Open, with a numbered capsule for Royal Birkdale
- Free UK returns and exchanges within 30 days, and same-day dispatch before noon on weekdays
- A strong on-site record: 4.72/5 from 377 verified product reviews
Cons
- Prices have risen: polos now reach £79, the Sidra chinos are £89 and the Brembo trousers £99
- "Recycled" varies by garment: the £79 Tummel polo is 52% recycled polyester, the £55 Elgon 42%
- No women's golf range, and no fully waterproof golf jacket in the core line
- UK-only for now: international ordering is suspended, and there's no phone or live chat
Reflo Pricing
Reflo prices like an accessible premium brand: above high-street performancewear, below the fashion labels. The core range has moved up, though, and the polos now span £49 to £79. The site shows a UK visitor prices in pounds, standard UK delivery is £4.99, and orders over £70 ship free.
| Category | Entry | Typical | Premium |
|---|---|---|---|
| Polos | £49 | £69–£75 | £79 |
| Tees | £29 | £39–£50 | £59 |
| Trousers/Shorts | £45 | £50–£89 | £99 |
| Midlayers/Hoodies | £69 | £79–£89 | £109 |
| Gilets/Jackets | £109 | £119–£130 | £140 |
Full prices on 1 October 2026: polos £49 (Bohai), £55 (Elgon), £69 (Tagus and the Open polos), £75 (Makalu) and £79 (Tummel, Yamuna); tees £29–£59; shorts £45–£75; Sidra chinos £89; Brembo trousers £99; quarter-zips and hoodies £69–£95, plus the £109 Open hoodie; gilets and jackets £109–£140; caps £30–£35.
Comparison:
- Reflo vs Three Putt: Both UK brands, very different products. Reflo makes recycled performancewear with £49–£79 polos. Three Putt is a UK golf streetwear brand with tees from £23.99, heavyweight hoodies at £45.99–£54.99 and free UK delivery. Kit for the swing, or clothes for the identity.
- Reflo vs Manors: Manors' Course Polo is £65 and its GOAT Pique Polo £85, against Reflo's £49–£79. Manors leads on design flair, Reflo on recycled fabric, and Reflo ships free from £70 rather than £200.
- Reflo vs Galvin Green: Galvin Green's Arlo jacket is £359, and the waterproof fabric of its GORE-TEX and Pertex jackets is guaranteed with no time limit. Reflo's golf shells are water-resistant only, at £119–£140.
- Reflo vs Glenmuir: Glenmuir was established in Lanark in 1891; Reflo arrived in 2021 with recycled fabric as its starting point. Clubhouse tradition, or technical kit that also works in the gym.
Promos/Outlet Notes: Core golf lines sit at full price on reflo.com, while the 46-item sale section is mostly motorsport teamkit at 30–50% off (the Andretti replica polo is £32.50, was £65). New subscribers get a 15% first-order code. Scottsdale Golf lists 30 Reflo items, many about a third off: Sidra chinos £58.41 and the Dochart gilet £71.55 on 1 October.
Verdict: 7.4/10
Fair money for recycled performance fabric, and the £49 Bohai is genuinely sharp value. But the core range has crept up to £79 polos and £99 trousers, so check Scottsdale Golf's markdowns before paying full price.
Reflo Fit & Sizing (Usability)
Reflo uses one men's size chart across the range, with UK and US sizes side by side. UK sizes run from XS (36-inch chest) to 4XL (50-inch chest), and the US label sits one size smaller, so a UK medium is a US small. Product pages label each garment "Regular Fit" or "Athletic Fit".
Notes:
- Polos: The Bohai, Tagus and Yamuna are labelled Regular Fit; the Tummel, Makalu and Elgon Athletic Fit. Golf Monthly found a medium Bohai fitted well "apart from being a little short in length".
- Trousers/Shorts: The tapered Sidra chinos and the Brembo trousers come in 28–40 waists, with no short or long leg options listed. The Scioto shorts run 28R–44R.
- Midlayers/Hoodies: The Lapter hoodie is Athletic Fit and the Namhan quarter-zip Regular Fit. The Open Living Links hoodie is described as relaxed, with adjustable drawcords.
- Outerwear: The Parbat is Athletic Fit; the Adda, Evenden and Jaya Regular Fit.
- Heat/Humidity: The Makalu polo weighs just 95gsm in a textured mesh, and the Bohai's listing claims UPF 50+ sun protection.
- Size Charts: One chart in centimetres and inches on every product page.
Accessibility/Range:
- The core men's range runs XS–3XL, with a few pieces (the Aras tee, Turkana shorts and some teamkit) in 4XL.
- No women's golf range: women's sizes 8–16 appear only in Jaguar TCS Racing and Nissan Formula E teamkit, plus a Williams travel polo.
- Juniors get just two Williams F1 driver tees, in ages 7 to 13.
Verdict: 7.5/10
Clear charts and honest fit labels help, and XS–3XL covers most men. Single-length trousers, a slightly short Bohai and no women's golf line hold the score back.
Reflo Core Product Categories
Polos
Reflo's strongest category: seven core polos plus three Open designs. The £49 Bohai is 100% recycled polyester pique with a UPF 50+ claim, and the £69 Tagus is 92% recycled with 8% elastane. The new Air Collection added the £75 Makalu, a 95gsm quarter-zip mesh polo. The £79 Tummel is the outlier, at 52% recycled polyester.
Verdict: 8.0/10

Trousers & Shorts
The £89 Sidra chinos are the signature piece: 88% recycled polyester, coffee-infused yarn for odour control, four-way stretch and an internal grip waistband. The £99 Brembo trousers add zip pockets and an eco water-repellent finish. Shorts run £45–£75.
Verdict: 7.6/10

Midlayers & Hoodies
The £89 Namhan quarter-zip (80% recycled polyester, 20% elastane, 250gsm) is, by Reflo's own account, a bestseller. The £69 Purus is the lighter Air option. The £109 Open Living Links hoodie carries a numbered badge and won't be remade.
Verdict: 7.8/10

Outerwear (Gilets & Jackets)
Gilets and light shells, not rainwear. The £109 Dochart hybrid gilet uses Repreve recycled insulation and S.Café coffee yarn. Jackets run from the £119 Adda windbreaker to the £140 Parbat, a 39gsm packable ripstop. All are water-resistant only.
Verdict: 7.3/10
The Open & Partner Collections
The headline act. Living Links is Reflo's second officially licensed Open collection, following the Giants capsule at Royal Portrush in 2025. The Royal Birkdale pieces run from a £39 tee to the £129 Elements jacket, plus £85 driver headcovers handmade from the collection's offcuts, 12 of each. September's Sakura Golf range with Nissan Formula E adds a £65 polo and £79 quarter-zip. The other motorsport teamkit is fan wear, often discounted.
Verdict: 8.2/10

Accessories
Caps at £30–£35, the £39 Tana belt, socks from £14 and £39 Sefton ball markers inspired by the wildlife around Royal Birkdale. Tidy and on-brand, but not the reason you'd visit.
Verdict: 7.2/10
Reflo Materials & Tech (Construction, Sustainability)
This is the category Reflo exists for, and most claims hold up on the garment labels. But "recycled" covers a wide range, and the biggest numbers come from Reflo's own counters.
Backend (manufacturing & standards):
- Reflo Sports Ltd was incorporated in January 2021 and is run by co-founders Rory MacFadyen and Peter Philippou.
- Its stated ambition is to become "the most sustainable sportswear brand in the world", and it says every item sold plants a tree through Ecologi and Trees for the Future.
- Its homepage counter claims 203,186 trees, 2.95 million plastic-bottle equivalents and 1,274 tonnes of CO2 offset. Its public Ecologi profile shows 50,916 trees funded; we couldn't confirm the rest. Either way, the goal of one million trees in five years is well behind.
- Reflo says its fabrics "adhere to multiple sustainability certifications" but doesn't name them on its site. Golf Monthly's 2022 Bohai review cited GRS, bluesign and OEKO-TEX; we couldn't confirm current certificates.
Application (on-garment features):
- Polos: 100% recycled polyester in the Bohai, Yamuna and Makalu; 92% recycled with 8% elastane in the Tagus; 52% recycled in the Tummel; 42% recycled plus 42% Sorona in the Elgon.
- Trousers: The Sidra is 88% recycled polyester with 12% spandex and coffee-infused yarn; the Brembo is 90% recycled with an eco water-repellent coating.
- Layers: Repreve recycled insulation (Dochart, Evenden), Sorona Aura insulation (Jaya) and bio-based eco coatings on several jackets.
- Reloop: Reflo says selected pieces are designed to be recycled and remade, though we couldn't find a customer take-back route on the site.
- Microfibres: Its own care advice recommends a micro-filter wash bag to reduce shedding, a rare honest nod to recycled polyester's microplastic problem.
Verdict: 8.0/10
Still one of golf's most credible recycled-fabric brands, and clearer on garment labels than most. But recycled content varies by garment, certifications go unnamed, and the million-tree target is well behind schedule.
Reflo Customer Support
Reflo's policies are clearly written, and UK returns are free. The weak spots: email only, weekdays only, and international ordering switched off.
Channels & Hours
- Contact form and support@reflo.com, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm UK time.
- No phone or live chat: the help centre says so directly.
Policies
- 30 days from delivery to return or exchange unused items with tags, through a returns portal with DHL drop-off or collection, free within the UK.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method. The help centre says 7–10 business days; the policy page allows up to 30 days.
- Sale and personalised items may be excluded, and anything bought in person at events is final sale.
Self-Serve
- UK delivery is by Royal Mail Tracked 48 (£4.99) or Tracked 24, with same-day dispatch on weekday orders placed before noon.
- Standard delivery is free over £70, though one help-centre article still says £80.
- UK orders now ship from a new UK fulfilment centre, and international ordering is "temporarily suspended" while Reflo upgrades its delivery network.
Verdict: 7.0/10
Free UK returns and exchanges are a real plus. But email-only weekday support, mixed messages on thresholds and refund times, and a recent public complaint about a cancelled order point to an operation still bedding in.
What Are Reflo's Review Ratings from Review Sites?
(As of October 2026)
- Trustpilot: An unclaimed profile with one review and a 3.2 TrustScore. That review, posted in late September, describes a July order cancelled after weeks without dispatch. Too thin to judge on.
- On-site (verified buyers): 4.72/5 from 377 product reviews since 2021, and steady since July. The Bohai polo itself scores 3.71 from seven, pulled down by a non-delivery complaint and a price rise between a return and a reorder.
- Golf press: Golf Monthly reviewed the Bohai in 2022 and found the fabric "soft to touch and very comfortable to wear". In 2024 it profiled the brand under the headline "Our aim is to be the most sustainable apparel brand in the world".
- Backing and reach: Harry Kane led a roughly £1m seed round in 2024. A March 2026 Crowdcube raise at a £25m pre-money valuation closed at £115,920 from 176 investors. Instagram @refloofficial has about 25,000 followers.
Synthesis:
Customers rate the kit highly, and the golf press likes the fabrics. The open questions are operational: an international shutdown, a fulfilment move and a thin Trustpilot record. The product is ahead of the logistics.
Is Reflo a Good Golf Brand?
Yes, for the right golfer. Reflo makes genuinely technical, mostly recycled golfwear, its Open licence is real, and 377 on-site reviews average 4.7. But prices have risen, some green numbers are self-reported, there's no women's line, and support is email-only during a fulfilment shake-up. If you'd rather your golf wardrobe said something about you than about your fabric, Three Putt's golf tees and heavyweight hoodies come from a UK brand with free UK delivery. Frequently Asked Questions About Reflo
Who owns Reflo?
Reflo Sports Ltd, a UK company incorporated in January 2021, is controlled by co-founders Rory MacFadyen and Peter Philippou. England captain Harry Kane is an investor, having led its seed round in 2024. In March 2026, 176 investors joined through a Crowdcube raise that valued the business at £25m before the new money.
Is Reflo a British brand, and where is it made?
Yes. Reflo Sports Ltd is registered in England, with its office in Manchester since July 2026, and UK orders ship from a UK fulfilment centre by Royal Mail. Product pages don't say which country the garments are made in, so ask customer service if that matters to you.
Is Reflo actually sustainable?
More than most golf brands, with caveats. Garment labels show 42% to 100% recycled polyester. Reflo's counter claims 203,186 trees planted; its public Ecologi profile shows 50,916 funded, and the one-million-tree target is well behind. Certifications go unnamed on the site, and its care advice admits recycled polyester sheds microfibres.
Does Reflo ship outside the UK?
Not at the moment. Reflo has temporarily suspended international ordering while it upgrades its delivery network, and the site says it's offering UK shipping only. In the UK, standard Royal Mail Tracked 48 delivery costs £4.99 and is free over £70, with a Tracked 24 option. Weekday orders placed before noon are dispatched the same day.
How does Reflo sizing run?
Reflo uses standard UK chest sizing: a UK medium fits a 40-inch chest, and the chart shows the US equivalent one size smaller. Check each item's Regular Fit or Athletic Fit label. The core range runs XS–3XL, trousers come in 28–40 waists with one leg length, and Golf Monthly found the Bohai slightly short.
What is Reflo's returns policy?
You have 30 days from delivery to return or exchange unused items with their tags, through Reflo's online returns portal. Returns are free within the UK, using DHL drop-off points or a booked collection. Refunds go to your original payment method, usually within 7–10 business days. Sale and personalised items may be excluded, and event purchases are final sale.
Is Reflo good quality?
Buyers think so: Reflo's product reviews average 4.72 out of 5 across 377 verified ratings, and Golf Monthly praised the Bohai's soft, comfortable fabric. Individual products vary, though. The Bohai itself scores 3.71 from just seven reviews, partly over delivery issues rather than the shirt.
What is Reflo's connection to The Open?
Reflo has made officially licensed Open collections two years running: the Giants capsule for Royal Portrush in 2025, then Living Links for Royal Birkdale in 2026. The numbered, recycled pieces run from a £39 tee to a £129 jacket, plus £85 driver headcovers handmade from the collection's offcuts.
