Redvanly vs Three Putt: Pull-On Golf Trousers or UK Golf Streetwear

We test golf apparel the way we play. Hard, social, and honest.

A New York athletic-luxury brand built on pull-on golf trousers, against a Leeds streetwear label that sells four cotton garments. They solve different problems.
How We Review Golf Clothing Brands
Every review on the Three Putt journal is written by Graeme Whiles, the founder of Three Putt Golf Clothing. As a competing brand, we have an obvious conflict of interest. We take this seriously and address it directly in our review methodology, which explains how we assess brands consistently regardless of whether they compete with us.
Verdict and Quick Pick
Redvanly is a New York family brand known for premium polos and pull-on golf trousers, with the Kent trouser at £120 for UK visitors in October 2026. Three Putt is a Leeds golf streetwear brand selling heavyweight cotton tees and hoodies from £23.99. Pick Redvanly for on-course polish and Three Putt for golf style off the course.
Best for golf style off the course on a UK budget: Three Putt. Heavyweight cotton tees, long-sleeves, sweatshirts and hoodies with golf graphics, free UK delivery and nothing above £54.99. It is casual wear, not performance kit.
Best for on-course polish and collared-shirt dress codes: Redvanly. Stretch polos, tailored pull-on trousers and a proper outerwear range, all rated highly by independent testers. The catch for UK buyers is a flat $50 shipping fee, and the site doesn't say how duties are handled.

Brand Overview
Three Putt Golf
Three Putt is a UK golf streetwear brand based in Leeds. The range is deliberately small: tees, long-sleeve tees, sweatshirts and hoodies.
Each garment comes in six graphic designs: Contours, Happy Place, Tee Time, Reckless Driving, The Scenic Route and Three on the Green. The point is golf culture you can wear anywhere, not a full on-course wardrobe.
That brings honest limits. The range has no polos, trousers, shorts, outerwear, waterproofs or caps, and no women's-specific line. If your club has a collared-shirt dress code, you will need a polo from elsewhere.
Redvanly
Redvanly is a New York family business founded in 2013 by Andrew Redvanly. He played college hockey, then left a sports talent agency to go back to caddying while he built the brand. His cousin David Pagana is its only investor, and his brother Eric runs logistics.
The pull-on trouser is the franchise. Redvanly's story page says it introduced the "first-ever pull-on golf short and pant". The idea is an elastic waist behind a tailored front, finished with belt loops and a faux button.
The profile is big for a family firm. Redvanly is Major League Baseball's golf apparel sponsor, and it dressed TGL team New York Golf Club as official apparel partner for the league's second season. In June 2025 it named Rick Shiels, the British golf YouTuber, its official apparel partner. Its Honorables roster includes PGA Tour players Jhonattan Vegas and Kevin Roy, LIV Golf's Scott Vincent and the darts player Luke Humphries.
For UK golfers, the useful detail is that redvanly.com shows prices in pounds. Orders still ship from the US. Redvanly has five boutiques in the US and says it has around 3,000 stockists, but none in the UK. Function18, GolfOnline and TrendyGolf listed no Redvanly products in October 2026.

Key Features and Fabrics
Three Putt Golf
- Tees: 100% cotton, 260gsm, relaxed fit, S–3XL, five colourways per design.
- Long-sleeve tees: 280gsm, 85% cotton / 15% polyester, loose drop-shoulder fit, S–2XL.
- Sweatshirts: 400gsm cotton crewneck, regular fit, S–2XL.
- Hoodies: 430gsm, 56% cotton / 44% polyester, oversized drop-shoulder fit, S–2XL, four colourways per design.
These are heavyweight casual garments, not technical performance wear. Do not expect moisture-wicking, stretch fabric or weather protection.
Redvanly
- Polos: most cost $110 in the US. Many use PUREpoly, which Redvanly's fabric page describes as 88% polyester and 12% spandex with four-way stretch and moisture-wicking. The McClure Polo adds contrast stripes at the collar and sleeve bands.
- Pull-on trousers and shorts: the Kent Pull-On Trouser uses GLYDINGnylon, a lightweight four-way stretch fabric that Redvanly says resists wind and water. The Hanover Pull-On Short, which Redvanly calls its best-seller, uses the same fabric, in 9" or 7.5" inseams.
- Hoodies and quarter-zips: the Larkin Hoodie is made from STRETCHknit, 77% polyester and 23% spandex with a brushed interior. Quarter-zips such as the Bronson sit alongside merino and cashmere knitwear.
- Outerwear: the Cloud Raincoat is a seam-sealed, hooded, mid-thigh coat that Redvanly calls "fully waterproof with stretch". Bombers, vests and jackets fill out the range.
- Beyond clothing: ActiveDenim golf jeans, its own golf shoes, belts, caps and gloves.
What Redvanly doesn't make is anything for women. Its store had no women's products in October 2026, only men's and boys' ranges.
Price Comparison
| Category | Three Putt | Redvanly (UK prices on redvanly.com) |
|---|---|---|
| Tees and polos | Tees £23.99–£29.99; long-sleeve tees £27.99–£34.99 | £86 McClure Polo ($110 in the US) |
| Hoodies | £45.99–£54.99 | £105 Larkin Hoodie; £275 Quincy Hoodie |
| Sweatshirts and quarter-zips | £37.99–£47.99 sweatshirts | £120 Bronson Quarter Zip |
| Trousers and shorts | Not in the range | £120 Kent Pull-On Trouser; £90 Hanover Pull-On Short |
| Outerwear | Not in the range | £230 Cloud Raincoat |
| Delivery to a UK address | Free | $50 flat (about £38); duties not stated |
Redvanly prices are the full prices shown to UK visitors on redvanly.com in October 2026. They exclude the $50 international shipping fee. Redvanly doesn't say whether import charges are collected at checkout or on delivery. Under UK rules on goods from abroad, VAT applies, and customs duty is due on parcels worth over £135.
Price Verdict
One pair of Kent trousers delivered to a UK address comes to about £158 before any import charges. That is more than three Three Putt hoodies at £54.99 each. Redvanly's Larkin Hoodie costs about twice Three Putt's dearest hoodie. Redvanly's prices are fair for technical kit that testers rate so highly, but for value per pound, Three Putt wins clearly.
Fit and Sizing
Three Putt Golf
Three Putt tees run S–3XL and everything else S–2XL. Tees have a relaxed fit, long-sleeves a loose drop shoulder and sweatshirts a regular fit. Hoodies are oversized with a drop shoulder, so size down if you want a closer look.
Redvanly
Redvanly cuts athletic and tailored, with a slim lean. The Kent product page promises "a sleek, tailored fit", and its four-way stretch fabrics are built for swinging. Our Redvanly review found that reviewers between sizes usually advise going up.
Men's clothing runs S–XXL. Bottoms use letter sizes with published waist ranges: a Small fits a 29"–32" waist and an XXL fits 39"–42". The Kent comes in 30", 32" and 34" inseams. There are no numbered waist sizes and nothing above XXL, and the boys' range runs S–XL.
Fit Verdict
Redvanly wins for a sharp on-course silhouette and properly tailored trousers. Three Putt is roomier, with bigger sizes in its tees, and cut for streetwear shapes. Bigger golfers should note that Redvanly stops at XXL, while Three Putt tees go to 3XL.
Style and Versatility
Three Putt Golf
Three Putt is golf streetwear: golf-themed graphics on heavyweight cotton, cut in relaxed and oversized shapes. A Three Putt hoodie works for a casual range session, the pub after a round or a weekend layer. It is not the right top for a members' competition at a traditional club. Our guide to wearing a T-shirt to golf explains where a tee is usually accepted.
Redvanly
Redvanly's look is clean, logo-light tailoring, with product names taken from New York streets such as Varick and Hanover. Its boutiques sit in places like Manhattan's West Village and West Palm Beach. The range also includes racquet sports and athletics collections.
A Redvanly polo and Kent trousers look smart enough for the clubhouse, the office or dinner. The pull-on waist sits behind a tailored front, so the trousers read as proper golf trousers. The one caution is golf denim: many British clubs ban jeans, so check your club's golf dress code before wearing the Ranstead.
Style Verdict
Both brands cross over, in different directions. Redvanly moves from the first tee to a smart dinner in the same outfit. Three Putt moves from golf culture into everyday streetwear. Choose Redvanly for polished days and Three Putt for the sofa, the pub and the car park.

Quality, Durability and Sustainability
Three Putt Golf
Three Putt's quality story is weight. Tees are 260gsm cotton, sweatshirts are 400gsm and hoodies are 430gsm. On sustainability, Three Putt makes no recycled-content or eco claims. Its tees are 100% cotton.
Redvanly
Redvanly's quality case is strong. Its own site shows a near-perfect average from more than 10,000 customer reviews. MyGolfSpy's tester called the Hanover the best golf shorts he had owned, while flagging the price and minor pilling on one pair. Practical Golf graded the fabrics A+, as our review notes.
The fabrics are developed in-house and named, rather than generic polyester with a logo on it. What's missing is transparency: product pages don't say where garments are made. Redvanly has no sustainability page and names no third-party certifications, such as OEKO-TEX or bluesign.
Quality Verdict
Redvanly wins on technical construction and on ratings few golf brands can match. Three Putt wins on heavyweight cotton at a low price. Neither brand makes a strong sustainability case, so that part is a draw.
Customer Support and Returns
Three Putt Golf
Delivery is free across the UK. Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery. Email support@threeputtgolfclothing.co.uk first, and note that you pay the return postage. Support is by email.
Redvanly
Redvanly's FAQ gives a flat $50 rate for international orders outside Canada, with delivery in 5–12 business days. It doesn't mention duties or taxes for UK orders.
For US customers, its refund policy allows refunds within 30 days of purchase, minus a $9 fee. Free exchanges or store credit are available within 60 days. Its FAQ still shows a longer holiday version, with 60-day refunds and 90-day exchanges.
UK returns are less clear. Redvanly's shipping policy says international returns start with an email, and it doesn't say who pays the postage, so assume you do. Items must be unworn, unwashed and have their tags attached.
Customer care works by email and contact form, Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm US Eastern time. That is early afternoon to late evening in the UK. Saturdays are email only.
Support Verdict
For US shoppers, Redvanly's free exchanges and boutiques make buying easy. For UK shoppers, Three Putt is simpler, with free delivery and a 14-day returns window. Returns cost you postage with either brand, but a Redvanly return goes back to the US.
Our Pick
Buy Redvanly if you want one brand to dress you for the course. Its stretch polos meet a collared-shirt dress code, and the pull-on trousers are the best reason to own it. Budget for the $50 shipping fee and possible import charges, and order carefully, because returns go back to the US. Our full Redvanly review covers the range in more detail.
Buy Three Putt if you want golf style for everywhere else, delivered free in the UK. Heavyweight tees from £23.99, sweatshirts and hoodies under £52 cover the walk to the first tee and the drink afterwards. You will still need a collared polo from elsewhere if your club requires one.
Plenty of golfers will own both: Redvanly's Kent trousers for the Saturday medal and a Three Putt hoodie for the drive home. If trousers are the main reason you looked at Redvanly, our guide to the best golf trousers covers the wider field.

Frequently Asked Questions About Three Putt vs Redvanly
Is Three Putt a good alternative to Redvanly?
For off-course style, yes. Three Putt sells heavyweight tees, long-sleeves, sweatshirts and hoodies from £23.99 with free UK delivery. It is not an alternative for on-course kit. The range has no polos, trousers, shorts or waterproofs, and its cotton garments offer no wicking or stretch. For Redvanly's pull-on trousers, you need a performance brand.
Can you buy Redvanly in the UK?
Yes, online. Redvanly shows UK visitors prices in pounds and ships from the US for a flat $50, about £38, quoted at 5–12 business days. The site doesn't say how duties are handled, so budget for UK import charges. Redvanly has no UK stockist, and Function18, GolfOnline and TrendyGolf listed no Redvanly products in October 2026.
Which is better on the course?
Redvanly, clearly. Its PUREpoly polos stretch and wick, the Kent trouser looks tailored but moves like a jogger, and the Cloud Raincoat is seam-sealed and waterproof. Three Putt's cotton tees and hoodies suit a relaxed round at an easy-going club, but offer no performance fabric or weather protection.
Is Three Putt good quality?
Three Putt's quality case rests on fabric weight. Tees are 260gsm 100% cotton, sweatshirts are 400gsm cotton and hoodies are 430gsm cotton/polyester. That is substantial for casual wear at £23.99–£54.99. Redvanly offers more technical construction and excellent ratings, but its £105 Larkin Hoodie costs about twice Three Putt's dearest hoodie.
How do the fits differ?
Redvanly cuts athletic and tailored with a slim lean, in S–XXL, with published waist ranges and trousers in 30", 32" and 34" inseams. Reviewers between sizes usually go up. Three Putt cuts are roomier: relaxed tees, loose long-sleeves, regular-fit sweatshirts and oversized hoodies. Three Putt tees run S–3XL and the rest S–2XL.
Which is better off the course?
It depends on the setting. A Redvanly polo and pull-on trousers work for smart-casual days, the office and dinner. Three Putt works as everyday streetwear, with heavyweight cotton and golf graphics. For pubs, cold weekends and gifts, Three Putt is the easier pick; for a tidier look, choose Redvanly.
Are Redvanly and Three Putt sustainable?
Neither makes much of a sustainability case. Redvanly has no sustainability page, names no third-party certifications such as OEKO-TEX or bluesign, and doesn't say where its clothes are made. Three Putt makes no recycled-content or eco claims; its tees are 100% cotton.
Which is better value?
For a UK buyer on a budget, Three Putt. Its whole range sits between £23.99 and £54.99, with free UK delivery. Redvanly's polos showed at £86 and the Kent trouser at £120 in October 2026, before $50 shipping and any import charges. For tailored golf kit you will wear every week, Redvanly's price is easier to justify.
