Sunday Swagger vs Three Putt: US-Only Polos or UK Golf Streetwear?
Updated on: October 2, 2026 • ~10 min read

We test golf apparel the way we play. Hard, social, and honest.

A Californian brand of loud $64 performance polos that ships only to US addresses, against a Leeds streetwear label that sells four cotton garments. One is built for the round, the other for everything around it.
How We Review Golf Clothing Brands
Every review on the Three Putt journal is written by Graeme Whiles, the founder of Three Putt Golf Clothing. As a competing brand, we have an obvious conflict of interest. We take this seriously and address it directly in our review methodology, which explains how we assess brands consistently regardless of whether they compete with us.
Verdict and Quick Pick
Sunday Swagger is a California brand of loud printed performance polos, mostly $64, for men, women and children, but it ships only to US addresses. Three Putt is a Leeds golf streetwear brand selling heavyweight cotton tees and hoodies from £24.99. Pick Sunday Swagger for the course, if you can get it, and Three Putt for off it.
Best for golf style off the course, delivered free in the UK: Three Putt. Long-sleeves and heavyweight cotton tees, sweatshirts and hoodies with golf graphics, priced in pounds, with nothing above £54.99. It is casual wear, not performance kit.
Best for loud on-course polos and family matching, with a US address: Sunday Swagger. Its stretch polos carry UPF 40, run to 4XL with Tall options, and come in His & Hers and Father & Son sets. It doesn't deliver to the UK, so you need a US address or a forwarding service.

Brand Overview
Three Putt Golf
Three Putt is a UK golf streetwear brand based in Leeds. The range is deliberately narrow: tees, long-sleeve tees, sweatshirts and hoodies.
Each garment comes in six graphic designs: Contours, Happy Place, Tee Time, Reckless Driving, The Scenic Route and Three on the Green. The idea is golf culture you can wear anywhere, not a full on-course wardrobe.
That brings honest limits. The range has no performance polos, trousers, shorts, outerwear, waterproofs or caps, and no women's-specific line. If your club has a collared-shirt dress code, you will want a polo rather than a tee.
Sunday Swagger
Mark Carmona founded Sunday Swagger in 2019 and leads it as founder and president. The company is based in Yorba Linda, California, and sells under the line "Polos with Personality".
In October 2026 its store listed 848 products, including more than 200 men's polos and more than 130 women's polo listings. The same prints often run across men's, women's and youth polos, with matching hats and towels. His & Hers and Father & Son bundles pair couples and children in the same design.
Licensing is a big part of the business. Guinness, Dole and Uncrustables ranges sit in the store. A 21-product Pennzoil collection featuring Team Penske arrived in March 2026. A 27-product U.S. Army collection followed in June 2026, launched for America's 250th anniversary. Carmona called it "the most meaningful collaboration in our company history".
The catch for British golfers is the route. The shipping policy covers only the United States and its territories. The store showed a UK visitor prices in US dollars in October 2026, and there's no UK stockist.

Key Features and Fabrics
Three Putt Golf
- Tees: 100% cotton, 305gsm, relaxed fit, S–2XL, five colourways per design.
- Long-sleeve tees: 305gsm, 100% cotton, oversized drop-shoulder fit, S–XL.
- Sweatshirts: 400gsm cotton crewneck, regular fit, S–2XL.
- Hoodies: 430gsm, 56% cotton / 44% polyester, oversized drop-shoulder fit, S–2XL, four colourways per design.
These are heavyweight casual garments, not technical performance wear. Do not expect moisture-wicking, stretch fabric or weather protection.
Sunday Swagger
- Polos: the Bones polo and its siblings are 90% polyester and 10% spandex, with four-way stretch, UPF 40, moisture-wicking and wrinkle resistance. A ChillTech line adds cooler-feeling polos for hot days.
- Button-ups: Button-Up 2.0 shirts in a softer, cotton-like fabric with added stretch, sold as moisture-wicking, wrinkle-resistant and UPF 50+.
- Tees: most graphic tees are listed as 100% cotton with a boxy fit.
- Layers: performance and Ultra quarter-zips, performance hoodies, Comfort Hoodies, and crewnecks in 80% cotton / 20% polyester.
- Shorts: the Everywear Short in 100% polyester, with a 9-inch inseam, UPF 50+ and waists 30–44.
Two gaps stand out. The Everywear Short is the only bottom, so there are no trousers, joggers or women's bottoms. And nothing in the range is sold as waterproof.
Price Comparison
| Category | Three Putt | Sunday Swagger (US list prices) |
|---|---|---|
| Tees | £24.99–£30.99 | $32–$39 (about £25–£30) |
| Long-sleeve tees | £28.99–£35.99 | None listed |
| Hoodies and sweatshirts | Hoodies £45.99–£54.99; sweatshirts £37.99–£47.99 | Hoodies and crewnecks mostly $59–$89 (about £45–£68) |
| Polos | Not in the range | Mostly $64 (about £49); ChillTech and collaborations $69 (about £53); Weekday solids $49 (about £38) |
| Quarter-zips | Not in the range | Mostly $79–$89 (about £61–£68) |
| Shorts and trousers | Not in the range | Everywear Shorts $59 (about £45); no trousers |
| Caps | Not in the range | Mostly $32–$37 (about £25–£28) |
| Delivery to a UK address | Free | Not offered |
Sunday Swagger prices are the full US-dollar list prices on its store in October 2026, converted at about $1.30 to the pound. They are what a US shopper pays before shipping. A UK buyer would add a forwarding service's fee, import VAT and any duty.
Its refund policy also matters on price. Products marked "Final Sale", at 40% or more off, can't be returned or exchanged.
Price Verdict
Where the ranges overlap, the sticker prices are close. A Sunday Swagger tee at $32–$39 is about £25–£30, level with a Three Putt tee at £24.99–£30.99. At the top end, Three Putt's £54.99 hoodie undercuts Sunday Swagger's $89 hoodies, about £68. The real gap is delivery: Three Putt is free to a UK address, and Sunday Swagger doesn't deliver here at all. A $64 printed performance polo is keen value, but only with a US address.
Fit and Sizing
Three Putt Golf
Three Putt runs S–2XL across the range, except the oversized long-sleeves, which run S–XL. Tees have a relaxed fit, long-sleeves a loose drop shoulder and sweatshirts a regular fit. Hoodies are oversized with a drop shoulder, so size down if you want a closer look.
Sunday Swagger
Our Sunday Swagger review found the polos true to size, with an athletic but forgiving cut and deliberately shorter sleeves. Men's polos run S–4XL, and some come in Regular and Tall lengths. Women's polos run XS–XL, with many also in 2XL, and youth polos mostly run XXS–L.
The rest of the range is narrower. Men's hoodies, quarter-zips and button-ups stop at 3XL, and the graphic tees stop at 2XL with a boxy cut. Everywear Shorts come in waists 30–44.
Fit Verdict
Sunday Swagger wins for polos, with 4XL, Tall lengths and women's and youth sizes. On tees they’re level, with both stopping at 2XL. Size carefully with Sunday Swagger, because its returns and exchanges are open only to US-based customers.
Style and Versatility
Three Putt Golf
Three Putt is golf streetwear: golf-themed graphics on heavyweight cotton, cut in relaxed and oversized shapes. A Three Putt hoodie works for a casual range session, the pub after a round or a weekend layer. It is not the right top for a members' competition at a traditional club.
Sunday Swagger
Sunday Swagger is loud on purpose. More than 300 designs have run since 2019, many built around drinks and good times, with polos called Mojo, The Gambler, Transfusion and Beer Me.
The polos have proper collars, so they meet a collared-shirt rule. Whether a loud print suits your club is a separate question, so check its golf dress code first.
Off the course, the cotton graphic tees, crewnecks and Comfort Hoodies are relaxed casual wear. The printed Button-Up 2.0 shirts are pitched as ready "from course to coast", which suits a golf holiday.
Style Verdict
Sunday Swagger is the more complete golf look, especially if your partner or children want to match. Three Putt is the better fit for everyday streetwear with a golf accent. Pick Sunday Swagger for a summer round, and Three Putt for cold mornings, the pub and the drive home.

Quality, Durability and Sustainability
Three Putt Golf
Three Putt's quality story is weight. Tees are 305gsm cotton, sweatshirts are 400gsm and hoodies are 430gsm. On sustainability, Three Putt makes no recycled-content or eco claims. Its tees are 100% cotton.
Sunday Swagger
Sunday Swagger's quality case is technical. The polos combine four-way stretch, UPF 40, moisture-wicking and wrinkle resistance, and they hold 4.9 out of 5 in reviews on its own site.
WiscoGolfAddict praised the "excellent" wicking and "superb" stretch in November 2024. It also found the polo "noticeably heavy once soaked with sweat". That matches our review's note that the fabric runs thicker and heavier than rivals.
On sustainability, the site has no sustainability page, and no recycled-content claims or certifications appear in its product listings. Its only eco claim is for its bamboo golf tees, which it sells as "eco-friendly".
Quality Verdict
Sunday Swagger wins on technical features: stretch, sun protection and wicking. Three Putt wins on heavyweight cotton at a low price. Neither makes a real sustainability case, so that part is a draw. Neither makes waterproofs either, so for wet rounds see our guide to the best waterproof golf clothing.
Customer Support and Returns
Three Putt Golf
Delivery is free across the UK. Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery. Email support@threeputtgolfclothing.co.uk first, and note that you pay the return postage. Support is by email.
Sunday Swagger
Sunday Swagger ships from its California warehouse to the United States and its territories only. Within the contiguous US, orders over $100 ship free, and others cost $5.99. A UK buyer would need a US forwarding service, with import VAT and any duty on top.
The refund policy allows 30 days from delivery for unworn, unwashed items with the original tags. Final Sale items are excluded, shipping costs aren't refunded, and returns and exchanges are only available for US-based customers.
Support runs through a contact form and email at hello@sundayswagger.com. The $20-a-year Sunday Club adds free shipping and 10% back in store credit, but like the rest of the store, it is built for US orders.
Support Verdict
For a US golfer, Sunday Swagger's 30-day window is more generous than Three Putt's 14 days. For a UK golfer there's no contest. Three Putt delivers to a UK address for nothing and accepts returns from UK customers, while Sunday Swagger offers neither.
Our Pick
Buy Sunday Swagger if you have a US address, or a friend with one, and want loud polos on the course. The $64 stretch polos carry UPF 40, and sizes run from youth to 4XL with Tall options. The His & Hers and Father & Son sets are its real point of difference. Our full Sunday Swagger review covers the range in more detail.
Buy Three Putt if you want golf style for everywhere else, delivered to a UK address. Heavyweight tees from £24.99, long-sleeve tees, sweatshirts and hoodies under £55 cover the walk to the first tee and the pub after. If your club requires a collar, you will want a polo rather than a tee.
Plenty of golfers would happily own both: a Sunday Swagger polo picked up on a US trip and a Three Putt hoodie for the drive home. For more US labels, see our guide to American golf brands.

Frequently Asked Questions About Three Putt vs Sunday Swagger
Is Three Putt a good alternative to Sunday Swagger?
For off-course style, yes, and it is one you can order to a UK address. Three Putt sells long-sleeves and heavyweight tees, sweatshirts and hoodies from £24.99, with free UK delivery. It is not a like-for-like swap, though. Sunday Swagger is built on printed performance polos, and the Three Putt range has no caps, shorts or waterproofs, and no technical wicking fabrics.
Does Sunday Swagger ship to the UK?
No. Its shipping policy covers only the United States and its territories, and the store showed a UK visitor US-dollar prices in October 2026. There's no UK stockist either. A British buyer would need a US parcel-forwarding service, with import VAT and any duty on top. Returns and exchanges are only available to US-based customers, so a wrong size is hard to fix.
Which is better on the course?
Sunday Swagger. Its polos are 90% polyester and 10% spandex, with four-way stretch, moisture-wicking and UPF 40, and they meet a collared-shirt rule. It also makes UPF 50+ shorts and button-ups. Neither brand makes waterproofs. Three Putt's cotton tees and hoodies suit a relaxed round at an easy-going club, but offer no performance fabric.
Is Three Putt good quality?
Three Putt's quality case rests on fabric weight. Tees are 305gsm 100% cotton, sweatshirts are 400gsm cotton and hoodies are 430gsm cotton/polyester. That is substantial for casual wear at £24.99–£54.99. Sunday Swagger's polos do a different job, with stretch and sun protection, and a $64 polo costs about £49 before you get it to Britain.
How do the fits and sizes differ?
Our Sunday Swagger review found its polos true to size, with an athletic but forgiving cut and shorter sleeves. Men's polos run S–4XL with some Tall lengths, while its graphic tees stop at 2XL. Three Putt is cut roomier, with relaxed tees and oversized hoodies in S–2XL. Size carefully with Sunday Swagger, because returns are for US customers only.
Which is better off the course?
Three Putt, for most UK golfers. Its range is golf streetwear: heavyweight cotton, relaxed and oversized cuts, and golf graphics, delivered free in the UK. Sunday Swagger's cotton graphic tees and Comfort Hoodies are good casual options, and its printed button-ups suit a golf holiday, but none of it ships to a UK address.
Are Sunday Swagger and Three Putt sustainable?
Neither makes much of a sustainability case. Sunday Swagger has no sustainability page, and no recycled-content claims or certifications appear in its product listings. Its only eco claim is for its bamboo golf tees. Three Putt makes no recycled-content or eco claims; its tees are 100% cotton.
Which is better value for a UK golfer?
Three Putt, because it delivers to a UK address. Its whole range sits between £24.99 and £54.99, with free UK delivery. Sunday Swagger's $64 polo, about £49, is good value for printed performance kit. A UK buyer adds forwarding fees, import VAT and any duty, though, and its returns are for US-based customers only.
