7 Best Bogey Bros Golf Alternatives in 2026 | Ranked

Exploring the brands golfers turn to when the funny polo has to cross an ocean to reach them.

How We Review Golf Clothing Brands

Every review on the Three Putt journal is written by Graeme Whiles, the founder of Three Putt Golf Clothing. As a competing brand, we have an obvious conflict of interest. We take this seriously and address it directly in our review methodology, which explains how we assess brands consistently regardless of whether they compete with us.

Top Picks

  1. Fore Bros Clothing: Best overall alternative from British brothers
  2. Breezy Golf: Best for a US creator brand with a UK distributor
  3. Barstool Golf: Best for duties paid at checkout
  4. Big Wedge Golf: Best for heritage-style looks from UK YouTube
  5. Three Putt Golf: Best for UK golf streetwear off the course
  6. Waggle Golf: Best for playful hats instead of a loud polo
  7. William Murray Golf: Best for comedy heritage polos

Why People Look Beyond Bogey Bros

UK golfers look beyond Bogey Bros because the brand is built for American buyers. UK orders cost £12.95 to ship, arrive duty unpaid, and go back at your own expense. The range stops at polos, tops, hats and accessories, with no shorts, trousers or kids' sizes, and the joke prints won't suit every club.

Bogey Bros was started in 2020 by brothers-in-law John Koehler and Ryan Rizos, who turned their golf-trip jokes into hat designs. It is based in Spring, Texas, and ships every order from its own warehouse there. Inc. ranked it No. 49 on the 2025 Inc. 5000, with 5,540% three-year growth and $15.5 million in 2024 sales from $6,000 of seed money.

The product is the funny polo, done properly. Polos are 92% polyester and 8% spandex with UPF 50, and most cost $69.95 (about £54). Prints are sorted into SFW, SFW-ish and NSFW collections, and the store's tagline is "The Best Golf Brand on the Internet... probably." Buyers back it up, with 4.9 from more than 13,000 on-site reviews and 4.7 from 2,402 Trustpilot reviews in October 2026. Our full Bogey Bros review covers the product in detail.

The catch for a UK buyer is the route. UK orders go by UPS Worldwide Economy for £12.95, Delivery Duty Unpaid, so any taxes charged by customs are paid to the carrier at the door. The shipping policy quotes 6–10 business days after dispatch, while the FAQ puts international delivery at three to four weeks.

Returns add to it. Free returns and exchanges are for US orders only, so international customers buy their own return label, and original shipping costs aren't refunded. That matters because the polos are an athletic fit, and the brand's own advice is to size up if unsure.

Then there is what it doesn't sell. There are no shorts, trousers, kids' sizes or proper outerwear, and the women's range is polos only. There is no sustainability page either, and no recycled-content claim in its product listings.

And there is the dress code question. A Whale Tail polo is a committed choice at an American muni. At a British members' club with a strict dress code, it is a conversation with the secretary.

Here are seven alternatives, ranked by how sensibly the joke lands in Britain.

Best Pick For…

Play Style / Need Best Brand
British graphic golfwear from a family of brothers Fore Bros Clothing
A US creator brand bought through a UK distributor Breezy Golf
US golf gear with duties paid at checkout Barstool Golf
Heritage-style looks from a UK YouTube channel Big Wedge Golf
Golf streetwear for off the course, with free UK delivery Three Putt Golf
Playful hats, plus bottoms and family ranges Waggle Golf
Comedy heritage polos and a deep women's range William Murray Golf

Detailed Breakdown by Brand

Fore Bros Clothing: Best Overall Alternative from British Brothers

Available on: forebrosclothing.com · Read our full Fore Bros Clothing review

Key Features:

  • Launched in summer 2025 by the Moloney brothers, whose Fore Bros Golf YouTube channel had about 315,000 subscribers in October 2026
  • Designs by freelance designer Dan Freebairn, whose portfolio includes Size?, adidas and Highsnobiety
  • 240gsm cotton tees, hoodies from 320gsm to 400gsm, half zips, polos, rope caps, beanies and one windbreaker
  • Free UK delivery over £50, with orders dispatched within 24 hours on working days

Pros:

  • The closest like-for-like: a family-run brand with humour in its designs, selling in pounds from a UK store
  • A stretch Tour Polo in 88% polyester and 12% spandex, with polos at £45–£50 full price
  • Free UK delivery over £50, against £12.95 to ship a Bogey Bros order with duty unpaid

Cons:

  • No trousers or shorts, the same gap Bogey Bros has
  • No women's line, where Bogey Bros sells women's polos
  • Returns run for 14 days with no exchanges, and sale items can't be returned

Verdict:

Fore Bros is the British version of the Bogey Bros idea: brothers, jokes and polos, without the transatlantic delivery. It shares the no-bottoms problem, and its 14-day returns window is less than half Bogey Bros' 30 days. For most UK golfers, the domestic purchase still wins.

Breezy Golf: Best for a US Creator Brand with a UK Distributor

Available on: breezygolf.com · Read our full Breezy Golf review

Key Features:

  • The apparel brand of Robby Berger's Bob Does Sports golf channel, launched in 2022 with Doing Things Media under the tagline "Have A Day"
  • Most polos cost $89 direct (about £68), in 92% polyester with UPF 50+ sun protection
  • Co-branded collections for THE PLAYERS, the WM Phoenix Open, the U.S. Open and the TOUR Championship
  • Cloud 18 Golf is its official UK distributor, with polos at £65, shorts at £45 and the Gimme hoodie at £75

Pros:

  • Buy in pounds through Cloud 18, with free UK delivery over £50 and 30-day returns
  • Shorts, which Bogey Bros doesn't sell, alongside polos, hoodies and quarter-zips
  • Most polos, hoodies and quarter-zips on breezygolf.com run to 5XL, beyond Bogey Bros' 3XL

Cons:

  • No women's line, where Bogey Bros sells women's polos
  • No trousers, and on breezygolf.com the shorts stop at 2XL
  • The humour is gentler and built on the channel's in-jokes, so it scratches a different itch from Bogey Bros' punchline prints

Verdict:

Breezy is the sensible way to buy American creator golf in Britain, because Cloud 18 turns it into a domestic purchase with domestic returns. A £65 polo delivered free is close to a Bogey Bros polo once its £12.95 shipping is added. The women's gap and the lack of trousers are real, though.

Barstool Golf: Best for Duties Paid at Checkout

Available on: store.barstoolsports.com · Read our full Barstool Golf review

Key Features:

  • The golf apparel arm of Barstool Sports, built around the Fore Play podcast
  • Founder Dave Portnoy bought Barstool back from PENN Entertainment in August 2023
  • More than 150 golf products in October 2026, including $70 performance polos, $32–$35 tees, hoodies, quarter-zips and '47 hats
  • An adidas Ultimate365 capsule that includes $95 tapered golf trousers

Pros:

  • Duties and taxes are collected at checkout, so nothing is owed on delivery, unlike Bogey Bros' duty-unpaid UK service
  • Golf trousers in the adidas capsule, a category Bogey Bros doesn't make
  • The same irreverent register, with PGA Tour winner Kevin Kisner on Fore Play full-time since March 2026
  • $70 polos in 86% polyester and 14% spandex, level with Bogey Bros' $69.95

Cons:

  • UK delivery is a flat $29.95 (about £23), and orders can take up to two weeks to leave the warehouse before 8–14 business days with FedEx
  • UK returns are refund-only, posted at your cost to Ohio, with duties non-refundable
  • No women's golf line and no shorts

Verdict:

Barstool is the transatlantic option that behaves like a big retailer, with duty settled at checkout and no doorstep bill. It costs more to ship than Bogey Bros, but you know the full price before you pay. Get the size right first time, because the return trip is on you.

Big Wedge Golf: Best for Heritage-Style Looks from UK YouTube

Available on: bigwedgegolf.com · Read our full Big Wedge Golf review

Key Features:

  • The clothing line of the Big Wedge Golf YouTube channel, launched in 2024 by W2S, Miniminter and Zerkaa of the Sidemen, with Callux, Calfreezy and Randolph
  • About 859,000 YouTube subscribers in October 2026, with Seb of Seb on Golf as chief executive
  • Script logos and heritage-style designs in navy, green and cream colourways, rather than jokes
  • 21 products, with polos at £45–£50, tees at £35, 400gsm hoodies and sweatshirts at £60–£65 and caps at £30

Pros:

  • A UK store priced in pounds, delivering with Evri and Royal Mail, so no customs bill at the door
  • Collared polos in a restrained style that sits easily within a typical club dress code
  • 400gsm hoodies and sweatshirts at £60–£65, against $89.95 (about £69) for a Bogey Bros hoodie before shipping

Cons:

  • Every clothing item was listed as sold out in early October 2026, and no new clothing had been added since December 2025
  • No trousers, shorts or women's range
  • If you came for the humour, there isn't any, because the brand plays it straight

Verdict:

Big Wedge suits the golfer who liked the creator model but has gone off the joke. It swaps Bogey Bros' punchlines for restraint, and its deep catalogue for 21 products. Check stock first, because in early October 2026 none of its clothing could be ordered.

Three Putt Golf: Best for UK Golf Streetwear off the Course

Available on: threeputtgolfclothing.co.uk · Read our full Bogey Bros vs Three Putt comparison

Key Features:

  • A UK golf streetwear brand based in Leeds, selling tees, long-sleeve tees, sweatshirts and hoodies
  • Six graphic designs across all four streetwear garments: Contours, Happy Place, Tee Time, Reckless Driving, The Scenic Route and Three on the Green
  • Tees in 305gsm, 100% cotton with a relaxed fit, S–2XL, £24.99–£30.99, in five colourways per design
  • Oversized drop-shoulder hoodies at 430gsm (56% cotton, 44% polyester), S–2XL, £45.99–£54.99, plus 400gsm cotton crewneck sweatshirts at £37.99–£47.99

Pros:

  • Free UK delivery, against £12.95 for a Bogey Bros order to the UK
  • Priced in pounds, with tees from £24.99 against $37.95 (about £29) for a Bogey Bros tee
  • A 430gsm hoodie at £45.99–£54.99, where a Bogey Bros hoodie costs $89.95 (about £69)

Cons:

  • No performance polos, trousers, outerwear or caps, which is the core of what Bogey Bros sells
  • Cotton streetwear rather than technical kit, with no moisture-wicking, stretch or UPF fabric
  • Returns within 14 days of delivery: email support@threeputtgolfclothing.co.uk first, and you pay the return postage

Verdict:

Three Putt has the same attitude: a British graphic brand for the clubhouse and the pub as much as the first tee. It sits mid-table because a Bogey Bros buyer usually wants a collared shirt, and that is the one thing not on offer. Golfers at clubs with a collared-shirt dress code will want a polo rather than a tee.

Waggle Golf: Best for Playful Hats Instead of a Loud Polo

Available on: getyourwaggleon.com · Read our full Waggle Golf review

Key Features:

  • Founded in 2018 by Minnesota native Travis Baker, with its headquarters, warehouse and store in Blaine, Minnesota
  • Hats are its biggest category, at about 140 of 445 listings in October 2026: snapbacks, corduroy brims, visors, beanies and $59 Repel hats
  • The Wingman Hat costs $35 (about £27) and the High Roller polo $69 (about £53)
  • Men's, women's and youth ranges, including trousers, shorts, quarter zips and jackets

Pros:

  • Flat $9.99 (about £8) shipping on international orders, against £12.95 at Bogey Bros
  • A 45-day returns and exchanges window, against Bogey Bros' 30 days
  • Trousers, shorts and kids' kit, three categories Bogey Bros doesn't make
  • The personality sits on the hat, so your polo can stay plain for stricter clubs

Cons:

  • Duties and taxes on orders over $200 (about £154) are the buyer's to pay
  • International buyers pay return postage, and a $6.00 handling fee comes off every return
  • The prints lean outdoorsy, with deer camps, s'mores and fishing, rather than punchline jokes

Verdict:

Waggle is the low-risk transatlantic buy: cheap flat-rate shipping on hats that carry the personality without worrying the committee. It also fills the bottoms gap that Bogey Bros leaves. Keep the order under $200 to stay below the point where Waggle passes duties on to you.

William Murray Golf: Best for Comedy Heritage Polos

Available on: williammurraygolf.com · Read our full William Murray Golf review

Key Features:

  • Launched in 2016 by Bill Murray and his brothers with Resignation Media, the company behind theCHIVE, and run from Austin, Texas
  • Built on the Murray brothers' caddying childhood in Chicago's northern suburbs, the background that inspired Caddyshack
  • Polos in 92% polyester and 8% spandex "ZFG Lite" stretch, at $85 for the Murray Classic and $88–$92 for prints
  • Men's and women's ranges, including bottoms, dresses, skirts, button-downs and hats

Pros:

  • A comedy name with real golf roots: the Murray brothers are in the Caddie Hall of Fame
  • A deep women's line with dresses and skirts, where Bogey Bros' women's range is polos only
  • Bottoms in the range, which Bogey Bros doesn't sell

Cons:

  • A flat $35.95 (about £28) international shipping rate, with international orders taking three to six weeks
  • No international returns or exchanges, and import charges fall on the recipient
  • Only two Trustpilot reviews in October 2026, so there's no meaningful public service record

Verdict:

William Murray is the polo to buy if the comedy matters more than the economics. The shirts have real charm, but its terms for UK buyers are the toughest here. At $35.95 postage with no way back, buy it in a size you already know.

Summary

Bogey Bros is a better business than its prints suggest. It ranked No. 49 on the 2025 Inc. 5000, grew from $6,000 of seed money, and held 4.7 from 2,402 Trustpilot reviews in October 2026.

From Britain, the purchase looks different. You pay £12.95 delivery, any taxes are collected by the carrier at the door, and a return goes back at your cost. The range also stops at the waist, with no shorts, trousers or kids' sizes.

Fore Bros is the British brotherhood doing the same thing in pounds. Breezy comes with a UK distributor and UK returns. Barstool settles duty at checkout, and Big Wedge plays it straight from a bigger UK channel, stock permitting. Waggle puts the personality on a hat for $9.99 postage. William Murray brings the Caddyshack pedigree with the toughest terms, and Three Putt keeps the humour on cotton streetwear with free UK delivery.

The Whale Tail is a great gag. Just price the punchline before it clears customs. For more US labels, see our guide to American golf brands.

Frequently Asked Questions About Bogey Bros

Who founded Bogey Bros?

Brothers-in-law John Koehler and Ryan Rizos founded Bogey Bros in 2020, after turning their golf-trip jokes into the brand's first hat designs. Inc. reported that the business started with $6,000 of seed money and closed $15.5 million in sales in 2024. It ranked No. 49 on the 2025 Inc. 5000 with 5,540% three-year growth, and it is based in Spring, Texas.

Is Bogey Bros the same as Bogey Boys?

No. Bogey Bros is the Texas humour brand at bogeybros.co, founded by John Koehler and Ryan Rizos. Bogey Boys is Macklemore's vintage-inspired golf label. The names are one letter apart, but the companies, styles and prices are completely different. We cover the other brand separately in our Bogey Boys review.

What is the Whale Tail?

The Whale Tail is one of Bogey Bros' best-known prints: a polo that looks conventional from a distance and is anything but up close. It costs $69.95 (about £54) and comes in several colourway versions for men and women. In October 2026 the original Whale Tail polo held 4.9 from more than 2,100 reviews on the brand's own site.

Does Bogey Bros ship to the UK?

Yes. UK orders go by UPS Worldwide Economy for £12.95, Delivery Duty Unpaid. The policy notes that the UK charges no import duty on orders under £135, but any duties or taxes that customs does charge are paid to the carrier on delivery. The shipping policy quotes 6–10 business days after dispatch, while the FAQ says international delivery takes three to four weeks.

Can I return Bogey Bros from the UK?

Yes, within 30 days of receiving your order, for unworn items with tags in their original packaging. Free returns and exchanges are for US orders only, so international customers buy their own return label, and original shipping costs aren't refunded. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days. Hats have to be sent back in a box.

Does Bogey Bros sell shorts or trousers?

No. In October 2026 the range covered polos, tees at $37.95, Q-zips and hoodies at $89.95, and more than 100 hats, mostly at $34.95. Gloves, ball markers, headcovers and towels complete it. There are no bottoms of any kind, no kids' sizes and no proper outerwear, and women's clothing is a polo range in XS–XXL.

How does Bogey Bros sizing run?

Slim. The polos are an athletic fit, which the brand says will "fit a little thinner than you might be used to", and its advice is to size up if unsure. Men's polos, tees, Q-zips and hoodies run S–3XL, and women's polos XS–XXL. Every polo and hat page carries a size chart, and the hats are known to run big.

Is Bogey Bros good quality?

The evidence says yes. Polos are 92% polyester and 8% spandex, moisture-wicking, tagless and rated UPF 50. The brand shows 4.9 from more than 13,000 verified on-site reviews, and Trustpilot had it at 4.7 from 2,402 reviews in October 2026. Complaints tend to cover holiday delays, exchange costs and customs fees on international orders rather than the fabric.
