We test golf apparel the way we play. Hard, social, and honest.

A global fashion name at high-street golf prices, designed in Cork and sold through the golf shops you already use.
How We Review Golf Clothing Brands
Every review on the Three Putt journal is written by Graeme Whiles, the founder of Three Putt Golf Clothing. As a competing brand, we have an obvious conflict of interest. We take this seriously and address it directly in our review methodology, which explains how we assess brands consistently regardless of whether they compete with us.
Verdict: 7.5/10
Calvin Klein Golf is the licensed golf line of the PVH-owned fashion house, designed and distributed by PGB Sports of Cork, Ireland. We liked the £35 Uni polo, the discreet branding, a fully seam-sealed Feather Dry 15K waterproof and how easy it is to buy from UK golf shops.
PGB has held the global master licence since 2009 and designs the men's, women's and junior collections with Calvin Klein's New York team. Autumn 2026 arrivals include Vanta puffers, a Jupiter half-zip sweater and a Torque baselayer.
Where it falls short for UK golfers: there's no Calvin Klein Golf shop of its own, so you buy through stockists whose prices and policies differ. Sizes mostly stop at 2XL, fits swing from slim to relaxed, and we couldn't find a current tour player wearing it.
This brand is best for club golfers who want a familiar fashion name, quiet clubhouse-friendly styling and real value, especially if they shop the sale rail.

- Range depth: Polos, tees, midlayers, trousers, shorts, waterproofs, padded outerwear, baselayers and headwear, plus women's and junior lines

- Easy to buy and return through UK golf retailers, including American Golf's stores
- Deep discounting, with £60 polos on sale for under £30 at American Golf this autumn
Cons
- No brand-run shop or customer service: calvinkleingolf.com now redirects to Calvin Klein's US fashion site
- Men's sizes mostly run S–2XL, with 3XL only on a few basics
- Fits vary between athletic, regular, relaxed and slim, so you have to read every listing
- No published country of manufacture and no current tour presence that we could find
Calvin Klein Golf Pricing
Calvin Klein Golf is priced in pounds by UK stockists and sits squarely mid-market, from a £19.99 tee to £130 jackets, with most polos at £35–£60. With no brand store, the price depends on where you shop: the Feather Dry 15K jacket is £110 at American Golf and £89.99 at Function18. Everything ships from UK stock, so there are no import duties.
| Category | Entry | Typical | Premium |
|---|---|---|---|
| Polos/Tees | £19.99 | £35–£55 | £64.99 |
| Midlayers | £29.99 | £45–£70 | £100 |
| Trousers/Shorts | £44.99 | £49.99–£59.99 | £69.99 |
| Outerwear | £54.99 | £90–£110 | £130 |
| Caps | £15.99 | £16.99–£20 | £25 |
UK list prices at American Golf, Function18, GolfOnline and Next: tees £19.99–£29.99, Metro Liquid Touch polo £29.99, Uni polo £35, Avondale polo £50, Longstone polo £55, Sheffield Chest Stripe polo £60, Monard knitted polo £64.99; Newport half-zip £29.99–£35, Tour hoodie £44.99, Avenue half-zip sweater £49.99, Rossmore hoodie £69.99, Jupiter half-zip sweater £89.99, Hybrid half-zip £100; Vacation chinos £44.99, Impact trousers £49.99, Genius trousers £59.99, Classic Tech trousers £69.99, shorts £47.99; Motion windbreaker £54.99, Feather Dry 15K jacket £89.99–£110, Vanta puffer jacket £119, Regent down and Westmoor Tech jackets £130; caps £15.99–£20, beanies £19.99–£24.99.
Comparison:
- Calvin Klein Golf vs Three Putt: Both are easy for UK golfers to buy, with no import hassle. Calvin Klein Golf is quiet fashion-house branding for the course and clubhouse. Three Putt is a UK brand with tees from £24.99, heavyweight hoodies at £45.99–£54.99 and free UK delivery.
- Calvin Klein Golf vs Tommy Hilfiger Golf: PVH's two fashion names on the fairway. Tommy leans into preppy red, white and blue; Calvin Klein stays monochrome and minimal. Both are lifestyle brands adding performance features, not technical specialists.
- Calvin Klein Golf vs Cutter & Buck: European stablemates: PGB Sports also holds Cutter & Buck's European golf licence. Cutter & Buck is the classic, corporate-friendly polo; Calvin Klein is the more fashion-led of the pair.
- Calvin Klein Golf vs BOSS: Two fashion houses at very different prices. BOSS brings The Open patronage and premium pricing; Calvin Klein trades tour credibility for £35 polos and deep discounts.
Promos/Outlet Notes: Discounting is constant and varies by stockist. On sale this autumn, American Golf has the Sheffield Chest Stripe polo at £29.99 (from £60) and the Hybrid half-zip at £39.99 (from £100). County Golf sells older-season stock lower still: polos at £19.99–£24.99 and the five-piece gift pack at £85 against a £225 RRP.
Verdict: 8.2/10
At list price it's fair mid-market value, and the £35 Uni polo is the sweet spot. On the sale rail, where much of the range ends up, a genuine Calvin Klein licence for under £30 is hard to argue with.
Calvin Klein Golf Fit & Sizing (Usability)
With no brand store, fit guidance comes from each stockist's listings. Function18 labels most polos and tees "athletic fit", the knitwear "regular fit" and the Genius and Impact trousers "slim fit", while American Golf sells a classic-fit Classic Tech trouser.
Notes:
- Polos/Tees: Athletic fit on the Planet, Uni and Newport ranges: trim through the body, so size up if you like room.
- Midlayers: Regular fit on knitwear. The Tour hoodie drops the drawcord and kangaroo pocket for a cleaner swing.
- Trousers/Shorts: Genius and Impact are slim fit; Classic Tech is the classic-fit option. Most waists run 30–42 with 29, 31 and 33-inch legs; shorts run 30–40 inches.
- Outerwear: Cut to layer, with a dipped back and stretch fabric on the Feather Dry 15K jacket.
- Heat/Humidity: The polyester Dri-Breeze, SmartTec and Metro polos are the summer picks; the Planet cotton blends feel softer but run warmer.
- Size Charts: Stockist-specific. American Golf links a size guide from each product page.
Accessibility/Range:
- Men's tops run S–2XL as standard, with 3XL on basics such as the Uni polo and Newport tee, and XS on a few Planet pieces.
- A women's line exists (American Golf lists the Halle padded jacket at £129.99), but it's far thinner on UK shelves than the men's.
- PGB designs a junior collection, and Next lists a junior hooded jacket at £70.
Verdict: 7.0/10
Clear fit labels help, but the size ceiling is low for a mainstream brand, and the mix of athletic, regular and slim cuts means checking every listing.
Calvin Klein Golf Core Product Categories
Polos & Tees
The heart of the range. The £35 Uni polo is the everyday basic in an organic-cotton and recycled-polyester blend. The £29.99 Metro Liquid Touch polo (95% polyester, 5% elastane) is the technical pick. The £50–£60 Avondale, Longstone and Sheffield styles add tonal logos, mock necks and chest stripes. Tees start at £19.99.
Verdict: 8.0/10

Midlayers (crews/hoodies/half-zips)
A deep bench for British weather. Newport half-zips start at £29.99, the clean-lined Tour hoodie is £44.99 and the Avenue half-zip sweater £49.99. Autumn 2026 brings the £64.99 Riviera polo sweater and the £89.99 Jupiter half-zip, and hybrid pieces up to £100 bridge into outerwear.
Verdict: 7.9/10

Trousers/Shorts
Two fits now. The Genius (£59.99) and Impact (£49.99) trousers are slim-fit, four-way-stretch performance trousers in 90% polyester and 10% elastane. The £69.99 Classic Tech is the classic-fit alternative. Vacation chinos (£44.99) suit the clubhouse, while the fleece-lined Winter Genius and the Tech Warm trousers cover winter. Shorts mirror the trousers at £47.99.
Verdict: 7.2/10

Outerwear
Broader than a fashion label needs to be. The Feather Dry 15K hooded jacket (£89.99–£110) is fully seam-sealed with waterproof zips, and the Acres short-sleeve waterproof (£99.99) covers summer showers. For cold rounds there's the new Vanta hooded puffer (£119) and gilet (£99.99), plus the Regent down range (£110–£130). We couldn't find matching waterproof trousers at the main UK stockists this autumn.
Verdict: 7.5/10
Caps & Accessories
Tidy and cheap: cotton twill and mesh caps at £15.99, the new New York cap at £16.99–£20, beanies at £19.99–£24.99, belts at £19.99 and a £12.99 tri-fold towel. Branding stays small throughout.
Verdict: 7.0/10
Calvin Klein Golf Materials & Tech (Construction, Sustainability)
Competent mid-market fabrics with named technologies, and more of a sustainability story than the brand gets credit for: the Planet series uses organic cotton and recycled polyester across polos, hoodies and joggers. What's missing is transparency about where it's made.
Backend (manufacturing & standards):
- A licensed line: Calvin Klein (a PVH brand) licenses golf to PGB Sports of Cork, which designs, sources, markets and distributes it.
- Country of manufacture isn't stated on stockist product pages.
- Beyond the Planet series, we couldn't find third-party sustainability certification for the golf line.
Application (on-garment features):
- Dri-Breeze: the wicking, quick-drying polo fabric retailers cite on styles such as the Club and Uni polos.
- SmartTec: 88% polyester / 12% spandex on the Newport tee, with anti-bacterial properties and UV30+ protection.
- Feather Dry 15K: 15,000mm waterproofing, 15,000g/m² breathability, sealed seams and waterproof zips.
- Planet series: 52% organic cotton, 45% recycled polyester, 3% elastane.
- Trousers: 90/10 poly-elastane four-way stretch on the Genius and Impact, 96/4 on the Classic Tech.
Verdict: 7.4/10
Sensible fabrics, real named tech and a genuine recycled line. The score stays modest because sourcing is opaque and most technical detail comes from retailers rather than the brand.
Calvin Klein Golf Customer Support
Calvin Klein Golf has no shop or consumer helpline of its own, so your support comes from whoever sells it to you, usually a UK golf retailer.
Channels & Hours
- No brand-run store or customer-service team: the old calvinkleingolf.com address now redirects to Calvin Klein's US fashion site.
- The licensee, PGB Sports in Cork, lists info@pgb.ie and +353 21 4211160 on its website, with no published hours.
- Day to day, the retailer handles orders, sizing questions and returns. American Golf has 85 UK stores for face-to-face help.
Policies
- American Golf: 30 days on online orders (unused, labels attached), with free returns in any store or tracked post at your own cost. In-store purchases get 14 days.
- American Golf's Christmas window: anything bought from 6 October to 24 December 2026 can be exchanged or swapped for a gift card until 31 January 2027.
- Function18: 30 days, a £2.50 return label through its portal, and instant size exchanges for UK customers.
Self-Serve
- American Golf: standard delivery £2.99 (free over £50) in 3–5 working days, next working day £4.99 (free over £100), and free Click & Collect.
- Function18: free express UK delivery by Royal Mail Tracked 24; Clubhouse Golf: free UK mainland delivery over £30.
Verdict: 7.0/10
Buying it is easy and UK returns are painless at the big stockists. But there's no brand-level support, so anything beyond a standard return depends on your retailer.
What Are Calvin Klein Golf's Review Ratings from Review Sites?
(As of October 2026)
- Trustpilot: There's no profile for the golf line. The calvinklein.co.uk fashion store scores 3.5/5 from 265 reviews, but that's PVH's clothing business, not the golfwear.
- UK golfer community: A Golf Monthly forum thread from 2018 is still the best snapshot. One member wrote "I've got one and it's decent enough"; a sceptic replied "I don't see it as a proper golf brand."
- Media and reach: The @calvinklein Instagram (about 26 million followers) is the fashion account. We couldn't find a dedicated golf account or a current tour ambassador.
- Heritage and distribution: Calvin Klein Golf was named official apparel supplier to the Ricoh Women's British Open in 2014 on a two-year deal. Today its reach is retail: American Golf, Function18, Clubhouse Golf, GolfOnline, County Golf and Next all list it.
Synthesis:
There's no robust review base for the golf line, because people buy it from retailers as a known name. The evidence that exists says comfortable, decent and good value; the dissent comes from golfers who don't rate it as a "proper" golf brand.
Is Calvin Klein Golf a Good Golf Brand?
Yes, for the right golfer. Calvin Klein Golf is a sound mid-market brand with a real licence behind it. The £35 Uni polo and Feather Dry 15K jacket are fair value at list price and excellent value on sale. The trade-offs are no brand store, a low size ceiling, mixed fits and little tour credibility. If you want golf-culture clothing from a UK brand with free UK delivery, Three Putt's golf tees and heavyweight hoodies bring more identity than a licensed badge. Frequently Asked Questions About Calvin Klein Golf
Who makes Calvin Klein Golf?
PGB Sports (Premium Golf Brands) of Cork, Ireland. It has been Calvin Klein's global master licensee for golf since 2009, after distributing the line in Europe from its 2008 launch. PGB designs the men's, women's and junior collections with Calvin Klein's New York team. It also owns Green Lamb and holds Cutter & Buck's European golf licence.
Is Calvin Klein Golf real Calvin Klein?
Yes. It's an officially licensed line, not a fan brand or a knock-off. Calvin Klein is owned by PVH Corp, which licenses the golf category to PGB Sports in Cork. PGB designs each collection with Calvin Klein Inc. in New York, so the logos and styling are genuine, even though a separate company makes and sells the clothes.
Does Calvin Klein Golf have its own online shop?
No. The old calvinkleingolf.com address now redirects to Calvin Klein's US fashion site, and the licensee's website is a brand page rather than a shop. You buy the clothing through retailers: in the UK that means American Golf, Function18, Clubhouse Golf, GolfOnline, County Golf and Next, all priced in pounds.
Where can I buy Calvin Klein Golf in the UK?
American Golf sells it online and in store, and Function18, Clubhouse Golf, GolfOnline and Next all list current ranges. County Golf is the place for older-season stock at deep discounts. We couldn't find it at Scottsdale Golf. Prices vary, so compare: the Feather Dry 15K jacket is £110 at American Golf and £89.99 at Function18.
Where is Calvin Klein Golf made?
The country of manufacture isn't published on stockist product pages, and PGB Sports' website doesn't name its factories. What's clear is the chain: the line is designed in Cork with input from Calvin Klein in New York, and PGB sources and distributes it. If origin matters to you, check the care label or ask the retailer.
How does Calvin Klein Golf sizing run?
It depends on the piece. Stockists label most polos and tees athletic fit, knitwear regular fit and the Genius and Impact trousers slim fit; the Classic Tech trousers are a classic fit. Men's tops mostly run S–2XL, with 3XL on basics like the Uni polo. Most trouser waists run 30–42.
Is Calvin Klein Golf good quality?
It's solid mid-market quality rather than premium or tour-grade. The fabrics are sensible: Dri-Breeze and SmartTec wicking polos, a seam-sealed 15K waterproof and an organic-cotton Planet line. Golf Monthly forum members have called it decent and comfortable, while purists question whether it's a proper golf brand. On sale, it's very good value.
Does Calvin Klein Golf make waterproofs?
Yes. The Feather Dry 15K hooded jacket is rated to 15,000mm waterproof and 15,000g/m² breathable, with sealed seams and waterproof zips, at £89.99–£110 depending on the stockist. There's also the £99.99 Acres short-sleeve waterproof. We couldn't find matching waterproof trousers at the main UK stockists this autumn.
What is the Calvin Klein Golf returns policy?
There's no brand policy, because there's no brand store: the retailer's terms apply. American Golf gives 30 days on online orders, with free returns in any of its stores, and extends Christmas exchanges to 31 January 2027. Function18 also gives 30 days, charges £2.50 for a return label and offers instant size swaps.
