Honest Levelwear Golf Clothing Review 2026 | Three Putt Golf

We test golf apparel the way we play. Hard, social, and honest.

The Canadian brand that dresses England's newest major champion, and won't ship a single polo to England.
How We Review Golf Clothing Brands
Every review on the Three Putt journal is written by Graeme Whiles, the founder of Three Putt Golf Clothing. As a competing brand, we have an obvious conflict of interest. We take this seriously and address it directly in our review methodology, which explains how we assess brands consistently regardless of whether they compete with us.
Verdict: 7.2/10
Levelwear is a family-owned Canadian apparel company, dating to 1987, that makes mid-priced performance golf clothing alongside a huge licensed-sports business. We liked the $70–$90 polos in recycled and UPF fabrics, a properly taped waterproof, and a tour staff led by 2026 PGA champion Aaron Rai.
Rai is English, and he had worn Levelwear for four years before his win at Aronimink in May. England's Paul Waring and Canada's Aaron Cockerill carry the logo on the DP World Tour too.
Where it falls short for UK golfers: Levelwear doesn't ship here at all. The US store delivers only to US addresses, the Canadian store only to Canada and the US, and we couldn't find a UK stockist. Sale items are final sale, and its own pages disagree on whether you get 30 or 60 days to return.
This brand is best for North American golfers who want tour-worn kit at mid-market prices. In Britain, it's one to admire rather than buy.
Key Features
- Signature tech/fabric: Moisture-wicking polyester knits, a 91% recycled-polyester Versa polo, UPF 50+ prints and a fully taped Repel waterproof rated 15k/15k; no trademarked fabric platform
- Design language: Clean, athletic tour polos with tasteful prints, plus licensed 126th U.S. Open, TGL, NHL, NBA, MLB, NFL and U.S. Soccer apparel
- Fit profile: Modern athletic cut with forward shoulder seams and high-low hems; verified buyers mostly say true to size
- Range depth: About 350 men's, women's and youth golf products: polos, sun shirts, quarter-zips, trousers, skorts, dresses, waterproofs, 62 hats and belts
Pros
- Mid-market prices for tour-worn kit: most full-price polos are $70–$90 (about £54–£69)
- A 27-player tour roster led by 2026 PGA champion Aaron Rai, Corey Conners and Ryan Fox
- Real recycled content (the Versa polo, the Luxe range) and more than 8 million polybags cut since 2020
- A genuinely deep women's line: polos, sun shirts, skorts and dresses in XS–XXL
Cons
- No UK delivery and no UK stockist: US and Canadian addresses only
- Men's golf tops run S–XXL, with no 3XL or big & tall
- Every sale item is final sale, and 82 golf pieces were marked down at the start of October
- The returns pages contradict each other (30 or 60 days), and you pay the postage back
Levelwear Golf Pricing
Levelwear prices like a sensible mid-market golf brand. A UK visitor lands on the US store in US dollars, with no GBP option because there's no UK delivery. Full-price golf polos run $55–$90, midlayers $65–$125, trousers $100–$120 and hats $17–$51.
| Category | Entry | Typical | Premium |
|---|---|---|---|
| Polos/Tees | £19 | £54–£62 | £69 |
| Midlayers | £50 | £65–£77 | £96 |
| Trousers/Shorts | £62 | £77–£85 | £92 |
| Outerwear | £58 | £69–£96 | £135 |
| Caps | £13 | £26–£29 | £39 |
The table shows approximate GBP equivalents at about $1.30 to the pound, before any parcel-forwarding fee, UK import VAT or duty. US list prices: Richmond tee $25, Original Polo $55, Primary Polo $60, Versa Polo $70, Wildflower Polo $80, Data Polo $90, official 126th U.S. Open polos $100–$112; Heron quarter-zip $65, Marathon quarter-zip $100, Luxe Signature hoodie $110, Luxe Shirt Jacket $125; Airspeed shorts $80, Airspeed trousers $100, Apex chino $110, Parflex trousers $120; Direct vest $75, Whitecap wind shirt $90, Baxter full-zip $125, Repel and Theta rain jackets $175, Theta rain trousers $155; hats $17–$51, Players ratchet belt $65.
Comparison:
- Levelwear vs Three Putt: Levelwear sells tour polos and waterproofs that can't be delivered here. Three Putt is a UK brand selling tees, sweatshirts and hoodies only: tees from £23.99, heavyweight hoodies £45.99–£51.99 and free UK delivery. One dresses the round; the other dresses the clubhouse, and it actually arrives.
- Levelwear vs Lululemon: Canada's two tour-worn apparel names. Lululemon costs more (£78 polos) but has GBP pricing, UK stores and free 30-day returns. Levelwear's $70–$90 polos are cheaper on paper and impossible to order here.
- Levelwear vs Cutter & Buck: North America's two sensible, logo-friendly mid-market polo makers, and neither ships to the UK. Cutter & Buck wins on big & tall sizing and at least reaches Britain through Amazon; Levelwear wins on tour roster and recycled fabrics.
- Levelwear vs Glenmuir: If you want a mid-priced, club-shop-friendly performance polo in Britain, Glenmuir is the home equivalent: Scottish heritage, sold in pounds by UK retailers. Levelwear looks sharper and more athletic; Glenmuir is the one you can buy.
Promos/Outlet Notes: The sale section is big: 82 golf pieces were reduced at the start of October, typically by 40% (a $70 polo at $42, a $100 quarter-zip at $60). All sale items are final sale. A one-time price match within 14 days is paid as store credit, and free ground shipping over $99 applies to US and Canadian orders only.
Verdict: 7.2/10
Fair money for tour-worn polos in North America, though the typical polo is now $70–$80 rather than $60. For a UK buyer the value is theoretical, because the only route in is a forwarder plus import costs.
Levelwear Golf Fit & Sizing (Usability)
Levelwear cuts a modern athletic fit: forward shoulder seams for the backswing, high-low hems with side slits, and stretch in most knits. One verified buyer praises a "well-made polo with a true-to-size fit"; another reported two polos shrinking after one wash, so follow the care label.
Notes:
- Polos/Tees: Athletic but not tour-slim, with collar stays and drop-tail hems. True to size for most buyers.
- Midlayers: Quarter-zips run true. The unisex Luxe collection is cut oversized with a drop shoulder, so expect a roomier fit.
- Trousers/Shorts: Waists 30–42, with a 33-inch inseam on most sizes of the Apex chino and Parflex. The Airspeed trousers have an elasticated waist.
- Outerwear: The Theta rain jacket has adjustable cuffs and hem and stretch fabric for the swing; the Repel adds fully taped seams.
- Heat/Humidity: Moisture-wicking polyester polos; printed styles like the Wildflower add UPF 50+, and women's long-sleeve sun shirts cover hot days.
- Size Charts: Separate guides for men's tops, men's bottoms, women's tops, women's bottoms, youth and the unisex Luxe collection.
Accessibility/Range:
- Men's golf tops run S–XXL on 175 of 199 men's golf pieces; only a few Luxe styles start at XS, and there's no 3XL.
- Women's golf runs XS–XXL on most styles (some stop at XL), with numeric 2–14 sizing on a few styles.
- Youth is a token offer: a $50 junior Versa polo in YS–YXL and a few other junior pieces.
Verdict: 7.2/10
Easy, stretchy athletic fits and a strong women's size run, held back by a men's range that starts at S and stops at XXL.
Levelwear Golf Core Product Categories
Polos & Tees
The heart of the range: more than 80 men's and women's golf polos. The $60 Primary Polo is plain 100% polyester with a collar stay. The $70 Versa is 91% recycled polyester with 9% spandex and an anti-bacterial jacquard, and the $80 Wildflower adds UPF 50+ and a floral print. Fall '26 polos (Thorne, Lennox, Alder) are $85, official 126th U.S. Open polos $100–$112, and Richmond tees start at $25.
Verdict: 7.9/10

Midlayers (crews/hoodies/half-zips)
A broad ladder: the best-selling Heron quarter-zip at $65, performance hoodies (Victor, Maze, Brix) at $90, the Marathon hoodie at $110 and the $125 Luxe Shirt Jacket. The Marathon is a cotton-rich blend, and the unisex Luxe range is 50% recycled polyester, 43% viscose and 7% spandex: lovely clubhouse wear, less of a swing layer. The $90 Action Vest made Golfweek's fall 2026 vest roundup.
Verdict: 7.7/10

Trousers/Shorts
Small but improved for 2026. Men get the $100 Airspeed trousers (tapered, elastic waist), the $110 Apex chino (90% polyester, 10% spandex, anti-static) and the $120 Parflex with mechanical stretch. Shorts are the $80 Airspeed and $90 Apex. Women get skorts at $90 and trousers from $100.
Verdict: 7.4/10
Outerwear
Better than its reputation. The $175 Repel jacket is a three-layer bonded shell with fully taped seams and a 15k/15k waterproof and breathability rating, with $155 matching trousers. New for Fall '26, the 2.5-layer Theta waterproof jacket ($175) and trousers ($155) arrived in late September, though both were sold out on the US store at the start of October.

Verdict: 7.5/10
Caps & Accessories
A deep headwear wall: 62 hats from $17 to $51, in rope, performance, mesh-back, corduroy and bucket styles, with the $38 Gordon cap among the best sellers. Accessories beyond hats are thin: ratchet belts at $55–$65, a $30 tour towel and $27 solar sleeves. The licensed side adds U.S. Open hats and TGL team tees and hoodies.
Verdict: 7.6/10
Levelwear Golf Materials & Tech (Construction, Sustainability)
Levelwear keeps its fabric story plain: polyester performance knits, a growing recycled share and generic descriptions rather than branded tech. The standout is outerwear with published waterproof ratings.
Backend (manufacturing & standards):
- Family-owned, part of Canada's Accolade Group and run from Richmond Hill, Ontario, with in-house design and branding.
- Country of manufacture isn't stated on product pages.
- Its sustainability page cites ocean and rail freight over air, recycled styles and more than 8 million polybags eliminated since 2020, but no third-party certification, and it still talks about 2024 targets.
Application (on-garment features):
- Polos: 100% polyester (Primary, Original) or 91% recycled polyester with 9% spandex (Versa); moisture-wicking, anti-bacterial and UPF 50+ on printed styles.
- Midlayers: the Alyssa full-zip is 88% polyester and 12% spandex with thumb holes; Luxe is 50% recycled polyester, 43% viscose and 7% spandex.
- Trousers: Apex is 90/10 polyester-spandex with an anti-static finish; Parflex uses mechanical stretch.
- Outerwear: Repel is three-layer bonded polyester with fully taped seams (15k/15k); Theta is a 2.5-layer stretch waterproof.
- Hats: the Gordon cap is 95% polyester and 5% spandex.
Verdict: 7.3/10
Honest, capable fabrics with real recycled content and proper waterproof ratings, held back by no proprietary tech, no certification and no country of origin.

- Returns and exchanges start through a self-serve portal run by Redo.
Policies
- The returns page allows 60 days from order for unworn, unwashed items with tags, refunded to your card.
- The refund policy linked at checkout says 30 days from shipping, "effective immediately". Plan on 30.
- You pay return postage, original shipping isn't refunded and all sale items are final sale.
- Defective items are covered for six months, replaced rather than refunded.
- A one-time price match within 14 days is paid as store credit with a one-year expiry.
Self-Serve
- The US store ships only to US addresses, excluding Alaska, Hawaii, US territories and PO boxes. The Canadian store ships to Canada and the continental US.
- Free ground shipping over $99, with 1–3 business days' processing on one page and 3–5 on the other.
- For the UK, a parcel forwarder plus import VAT (and possibly duty) is the only route.
Verdict: 5.8/10
Decent support for a North American customer, but contradictory return windows and final-sale markdowns cost it points, and for a British reader the door is simply shut.
What Are Levelwear's Review Ratings from Review Sites?
(As of October 2026)
- Trustpilot: Unrated. The levelwear.com profile is unclaimed with no reviews, so there's no independent consumer score.
- On-site (verified buyers): Judge.me scores on the bestsellers are strong but thin: Primary Polo 4.56/5 from 16 reviews, Original Polo 4.71/5 from 14, Airspeed trousers 4.92/5 from 13 and Versa Polo 5/5 from four.
- Editorial: The Review Caddie credits it with "performance fabrics that punch above their price point". Golf.com quoted Adam Hadwin calling the product "some of the highest quality on Tour". MyGolfSpy covered the Hurley x Levelwear collaboration in February 2026.
- Tour & Reputation: Its athletes page lists 27 tour players, including Corey Conners, Adam Hadwin, Taylor Pendrith and Ryan Fox, LPGA players Carlota Ciganda and Ashleigh Buhai, and 2026 PGA champion Aaron Rai.
- Social: Modest: about 19K Instagram followers on the main account and about 5,500 on the golf account. This is a wholesale-and-tour brand, not a social-first one.
Synthesis:
Everything that exists is positive: good fit, good value, real pros and a major champion on staff. What's missing is volume. Respected in North America, still invisible in British shops.
Is Levelwear a Good Golf Brand?
Yes. Levelwear is a good mid-market golf brand: comfortable, athletic polos at fair North American prices, a deep women's range, a properly taped waterproof and a tour roster that now includes a major champion. The problem for UK golfers isn't the product, it's the postcode: no UK delivery, no UK stockist and dollar pricing before import costs. If you want golf-culture clothing from a UK brand with free UK delivery, Three Putt's golf tees and heavyweight hoodies arrive without the forwarding fees. For the rest of the maple-leaf scene, see our guide to Canadian golf brands.

Frequently Asked Questions About Levelwear
Who owns Levelwear?
Levelwear is a family-owned Canadian company that dates itself to 1987. It sits under the Accolade Group and is based in Richmond Hill, Ontario, just north of Toronto. Alongside golf, it runs a large licensed business covering the NHL, NBA, MLB, NFL, the U.S. Open and TGL.
Where is Levelwear made?
Levelwear doesn't state a country of manufacture on its product pages. Design and branding happen in-house in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Its sustainability page cites recycled styles, sea and rail freight over air, and more than 8 million polybags cut since 2020, but no third-party certification.
Does Levelwear ship to the UK?
No. The US store ships only to US addresses, and the Canadian store ships to Canada and the continental US. There's no UK store and no GBP pricing. A UK buyer would need a parcel forwarder, then pay UK import VAT, and possibly duty, on arrival.
Can I buy Levelwear in a UK golf shop?
We couldn't find a UK stockist. American Golf, Scottsdale Golf, Function18, Clubhouse Golf and GolfOnline listed no Levelwear at the start of October 2026. If you want a Canadian golf brand you can buy in pounds, Lululemon has UK stores and GBP pricing.
How does Levelwear sizing run?
Mostly true to size, in a modern athletic cut with stretch and forward shoulder seams. Men's golf tops run S–XXL with no 3XL or big and tall; women's run XS–XXL on most styles. The unisex Luxe collection is deliberately oversized, and trousers come in 30–42 waists.
Is Levelwear good quality?
The evidence is positive but thin. Bestsellers score 4.56–5/5 on its own site from a few dozen reviews, The Review Caddie praises fabrics that outperform the price, and Adam Hadwin rates it highly. There's no Trustpilot score, and one buyer reported polos shrinking, so follow the care labels.
What is Levelwear's return policy?
Its pages disagree. The returns page allows 60 days from order, but the refund policy linked at checkout says 30 days from shipping, so plan on 30. Items must be unworn and tagged, you pay return postage, and sale items are final sale. It all applies only to US and Canadian orders.
Which golfers wear Levelwear?
Its athletes page lists 27 tour players. Headliners are Englishman Aaron Rai, the 2026 PGA champion, and Canadians Corey Conners, Adam Hadwin and Taylor Pendrith. Ryan Fox, LPGA players Carlota Ciganda and Ashleigh Buhai, and DP World Tour regulars Paul Waring and Aaron Cockerill complete the roster.
Does Levelwear make waterproof golf clothing?
Yes. The $175 Repel jacket is a three-layer shell with fully taped seams and a 15k/15k rating, with $155 matching trousers. The new 2.5-layer Theta jacket and trousers arrived in late September 2026 at the same prices, though both were sold out on the US store in early October.
