Honest PXG Golf Clothing Review 2026 | Three Putt Golf

Updated on: October 1, 2026 • ~11 min read

We test golf apparel the way we play. Hard, social, and honest.

The club company with the skull logo makes a serious wardrobe. Getting it to the UK is the hard part.

How We Review Golf Clothing Brands

Every review on the Three Putt journal is written by Graeme Whiles, the founder of Three Putt Golf Clothing. As a competing brand, we have an obvious conflict of interest. We take this seriously and address it directly in our review methodology, which explains how we assess brands consistently regardless of whether they compete with us.

Verdict: 6.8/10

PXG Apparel is the clothing line of Parsons Xtreme Golf, the Scottsdale club maker founded by Bob Parsons. We liked the two-fit polo system (Athletic and Comfort), a women's range as deep as the men's, published garment measurements, and black-and-white Darkness styling nobody mistakes for anyone else.

It's a bigger wardrobe than most expect from a club company: 146 clothing pieces on pxg.com, from $65 tees to a $375 blazer. There's seam-sealed rain gear too, and a Cole Haan golf shoe collaboration for women.

Where it falls short for UK golfers: PXG's UK site sells clubs, caps, gloves and socks, but no clothing. The US store prices in dollars and asks anyone outside the US to order by phone. We couldn't find a UK retailer that stocks PXG clothing, so the realistic UK option is PXG's own London South store in Esher, Surrey.

This brand is best for golfers within reach of Esher, or regular US visitors, who want club-company clothing with a genuine fashion edge.

Key Features

  • Signature tech/fabric: Nylon-elastane stretch polos (85/15 and 88/12) that wick, dry quickly and block UV, plus water-repellent Darkness trousers and seam-sealed rain gear
  • Design language: Black-and-white minimalism, Fairway Camo prints and the Darkness skull, a tribute to Bob Parsons' Marine Corps service
  • Fit profile: Men's polos in Athletic Fit (trimmer, shorter) or Comfort Fit (relaxed, longer), with garment measurements on product pages
  • Range depth: Polos, tees, pullovers, hoodies, cardigans, vests, trousers, shorts, jackets, rain gear, skirts and dresses, plus caps and accessories

Pros

  • A real fashion line: 146 clothing pieces, from heritage polos to a $375 blazer
  • A women's range (74 pieces, mostly 2XS–XL) that is bigger than the men's
  • Two polo fits and published measurements take much of the guesswork out of sizing
  • Deep markdowns: around half the US clothing range was on sale at the time of writing

Cons

  • No clothing on PXG's UK website, and no UK retailer we could find stocks it
  • US list prices are high: most polos cost $110–$145 (about £85–£112)
  • No published waterproof rating on the rain gear, and no women's rain jacket
  • UK returns are at your own cost, and US final-clearance items can't be returned

PXG Apparel Pricing

PXG prices its clothing like a premium US fashion label, not like its clubs. The UK site carries no clothing, so these are pxg.com's US list prices, which UK visitors see in dollars.

Category Entry Typical Premium
Polos/Tees £50 £85–£112 £119
Midlayers £73 £119–£142 £204
Trousers/Shorts £77 £96–£127 £173
Outerwear £92 £219–£227 £288
Caps £15 £39 £50

Approximate GBP equivalents at about $1.30 to the pound, before any shipping, import duty or VAT: tees $65, Tour polos $95, most polos $110–$145, the Fairway Checkered Knitted Polo $155, hoodies $95–$195, pullovers and quarter-zips $155–$185, vests $195–$265, shorts $100–$125, trousers $135–$225, rain trousers $275, the Darkness Track Jacket $120, jackets $195–$295 and the Every Occasion Blazer $375. Women's polos run $95–$125, skirts $145–$185 and trousers $185–$200. Caps are the exception: uk.pxg.com sells them in pounds at £15–£50, mostly £39.

Comparison:

  • PXG vs Three Putt: Both make golf clothing with attitude, but only one delivers it to your door here. PXG's polos run $95–$155 (about £73–£119) and aren't sold online in the UK. Three Putt is a UK brand with tees from £23.99, heavyweight hoodies from £45.99 and free UK delivery.
  • PXG vs G/FORE: Two bold US premium labels with a black-and-white streak. G/FORE is easy to buy here (Scottsdale Golf lists its All Play Stripe polo at £109), while PXG clothing means a trip to Esher or a phone call to Arizona.
  • PXG vs Peter Millar: Peter Millar is the quiet-luxury benchmark, and UK shops carry it: Function18 lists its Pine Performance hoodie at £125. PXG's hoodies and pullovers cost $95–$195 (about £73–£150), with considerably more skull.
  • PXG vs Malbon: Malbon brings streetwear to the clubhouse; PXG brings military-grade black. Malbon's Divot Repair Windshirt is £189 at Scottsdale Golf, while PXG's Fairway half-zip anorak is $195 (about £150) with no UK seller.

Promos/Outlet Notes: Around half the US clothing range (72 of 146 pieces) was marked down at the time of writing, with many polos at $50 instead of $125. A Buy More, Save More offer takes 20% off one item, 30% off two and 40% off three or more, and London South runs the same deal in store only. PXG for Heroes gives 20% off to military, veterans, first responders, teachers and nurses.

Verdict: 6.5/10

List prices sit at the top of the golf market, and UK buyers can't easily reach the markdowns. The 60%-off US polo sales are tempting, but London South's in-store deal tops out at 40%.

PXG Apparel Fit & Sizing (Usability)

PXG is unusually open about fit. Men's polos come in two cuts: Athletic Fit is fitted through the waist with a shorter body and slimmer shoulders, while Comfort Fit is relaxed, longer and wider. Each product lists garment measurements for a size Large.

Notes:

  • Polos/Tees: In Large, the Comfort Fit Heritage Polo measures 47¾ inches at the chest and the Athletic Fit 44¼. About half the polos offer both cuts; the Tour polos are Comfort Fit only.
  • Midlayers: Men's tops and outerwear share one size chart. Pullovers run S–2XL or S–3XL, and the cosy hoodies XS–3XL.
  • Trousers/Shorts: Men's trousers and shorts come in 30–42 inch waists (the Slim Pant stops at 40), and the Shadow Jogger uses S–3XL.
  • Outerwear: Jackets mostly run S–2XL; the Fairway Camo Rain Jacket reaches 3XL.
  • Heat/Humidity: The stretch-nylon polos wick and dry quickly; the black-heavy palette runs warmer in sun.
  • Size Charts: Per-product measurements and fit definitions, all in inches and US sizes.

Accessibility/Range:

  • Men's polos and tees run S–3XL, with XS on a few hoodies; there's no 4XL or big-and-tall line.
  • Women's pieces run 2XS–XL on most styles and XS–XL on the rest.
  • Children get caps only (infant and kids' styles); there's no junior clothing.

Verdict: 7.8/10

Two fits, real measurements and a full women's size run make PXG one of the easier premium brands to size from a distance. The catch is that distance is the only option for most UK golfers.

PXG Apparel Core Product Categories

Polos & Tees

The heart of the range is about 25 men's polos. The $95 Comfort Fit Tour polos are moisture-wicking, anti-microbial and anti-wrinkle. Above them sit $125 Heritage, Cosmic and Basket Weave prints and the $155 Fairway Checkered Knitted Polo, with snap plackets and silicone logos as signatures. Graphic tees cost $65, and a Signature Tee 3-Pack is $95.

Verdict: 7.8/10

Midlayers (pullovers/hoodies/vests)

The $155 Dynamic Blade half-zip pairs PXG's Dry Piqué with lightweight nylon and swaps the zip for a snap placket. The $165 Essential Pullover is the stretchy, moisture-wicking staple, and hoodies run from $95 to $195. The $195 Swing Vest is water-resistant polyester, and the $265 Caliber Climate Vest wears Fairway Camo in white.

Verdict: 7.5/10

Trousers/Shorts

Men get the Essential Golf Pants ($135, flat front, slightly tapered leg), slim versions at $165 and the water-repellent, four-way stretch Essential Darkness Pants at $225. Shorts cost $100–$125, including the new All-Day Comfort Shorts. It's a proper bottoms programme, which plenty of fashion-led golf labels still lack.

Verdict: 7.3/10

Outerwear

The $285 Lightweight Driver Jacket has a separate mesh lining for airflow and is designed for mild conditions. The $195 Fairway half-zip anorak and $120 Darkness Track Jacket cover cooler rounds, and the $375 Every Occasion Blazer handles the clubhouse. For rain, the $295 Fairway Camo Rain Jacket and $275 Rain Pants are seam-sealed and pack away. PXG publishes no waterproof rating, though, and calls the trousers water-resistant.

Verdict: 6.8/10

Women's Collection

This is where PXG beats most golf brands. The women's range runs to 74 pieces, more than the men's: skirts ($145–$185), dresses, a romper, cardigans and quilted vests. The $110 RP Signature Polo, with its snap placket, was designed for Renee Parsons. The $200 Darkness Pants are water-repellent with four-way stretch, and PXG x Cole Haan golf shoes ($190–$270) finish the look.

Verdict: 8.0/10

Caps & Accessories

The one category UK golfers can buy online in pounds. uk.pxg.com lists around 40 hats, most at £39: New Era Prolight caps, rope hats, truckers and Darkness skull snapbacks, plus £39 beanies. Socks cost £12–£15, Players gloves £25 and a leather belt £150. UK delivery is £8, or free over £49.

Verdict: 7.6/10

PXG Apparel Materials & Tech (Construction, Sustainability)

PXG's clothing is built on stretch performance knits rather than headline fabric platforms. The spec is clearly listed, but it stops short of the ratings and sourcing detail you'd expect at these prices.

Backend (manufacturing & standards):

  • Country of manufacture isn't stated on product pages; one women's jogger mentions an Italian fabric.
  • No sustainability programme is published, and that jogger's "sustainable" fabric is the only such claim on the range.
  • Renee Parsons established PXG Apparel, ran it as President and Executive Creative Director from 2018, and still drives its vision as PXG's Chief Marketing Officer.

Application (on-garment features):

  • Polos: 85% nylon / 15% elastane (Sport Pique) and 88% nylon / 12% elastane (Heritage), moisture-wicking, quick-dry and UV-protective, with snap plackets and silicone logos.
  • Tour polos: anti-microbial and anti-wrinkle finishes; the Tour Modal Polo uses soft modal fabric.
  • Midlayers: Dry Piqué with nylon on the Dynamic Blade, water-resistant polyester on the Swing Vest.
  • Trousers: the Darkness Pants (men's and women's) are breathable, water-repellent and four-way stretch.
  • Rain gear: a seam-sealed jacket with two waterproof zip pockets, elastic cuffs, a cinch hem and a packable pouch, but no published waterproof rating.

Verdict: 7.2/10

Good performance fabrics, clearly labelled. Missing waterproof ratings, no sourcing transparency and no sustainability story hold the score back.

PXG Apparel Customer Support

PXG has a real UK operation, with a freephone line, an email team and a store. It just doesn't sell clothing online here.

Channels & Hours

  • UK Sales & Support: freephone 0800 066 9449 or uk.info@pxg.com, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm.
  • US Sales & Support: 1.844.PLAY.PXG, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm Arizona time.
  • PXG London South, Sandown Industrial Park, Esher: open Monday–Saturday (until 7pm Monday–Wednesday), closed Sundays, on 01372 898700.

Policies

  • UK orders: 14 days to change your mind for a refund, 28 days to exchange; items must be unused, tagged and in original packaging.
  • You pay UK return postage, and refunds are processed within 10 working days after inspection.
  • US clothing has a 30-day refund or exchange policy excluding shipping, and final-clearance items aren't returnable.
  • PXG for Heroes: 20% off for UK military, veterans, first responders, teachers and nurses, verified by ID.

Self-Serve

  • UK delivery is by FedEx at £8, free over £49, though only accessories are sold online.
  • US apparel delivery is $10 by ground (3–7 business days); non-US orders must be arranged with Sales & Support by phone.

Verdict: 6.0/10

A UK phone line and a proper store are more than most US brands offer. But with no UK online clothing, returns at your own cost and dollar-only pricing, buying PXG apparel from Britain takes real effort.

What Are PXG's Review Ratings from Review Sites?

(As of October 2026)

  • Trustpilot: 3.9/5 ("Great") from 430 reviews on an unclaimed pxg.com profile. PXG has no history of inviting reviews there, and recent ones are mostly about fittings and clubs, from praise for named fitters to a complaint about rusting irons.
  • On-site (verified buyers): Thin. The Sport Pique Polo scores 4.75/5 from eight reviews ("Nice shirt. Looks nice and fits well"), while many other pieces show a single review.
  • Media and Reach: @pxg has about 335,000 Instagram followers, with a separate @PXGUK account. The spring/summer 2026 collection was picked up by the golf trade press, and PXG's LPGA player Olivia Cowan called the clothing "light, comfortable, and really easy to move in".
  • Tour presence: PXG lists 33 tour pros, including Céline Boutier and England's Marco Penge, plus Gary Player as an ambassador. That roster is about clubs first.

Synthesis:

PXG's reputation is built on clubs and fittings, and that's where the review volume sits. The clothing gets good but sparse feedback, which fits a line sold mainly through PXG's own US website and stores.

Is PXG a Good Golf Brand?

Yes for the clothes, not yet for UK access. PXG Apparel is a genuine fashion line: two polo fits, a women's range deeper than the men's, honest measurements and an unmistakable look. But there's no UK online route to it, and US list prices are steep before you add the cost of getting it here. If you want golf clothing with attitude from a UK brand with free UK delivery, Three Putt's golf tees and heavyweight hoodies are a much easier swing. Frequently Asked Questions About PXG Apparel

Who owns PXG?

Bob Parsons, PXG's founder and CEO. He founded Parsons Xtreme Golf in Scottsdale, Arizona, in 2013 and owns it through YAM Worldwide, his holding company for golf, motorcycle and property businesses. Parsons is a Marine Corps Vietnam veteran who also founded GoDaddy. His wife, Renee Parsons, established PXG Apparel and still drives its vision as PXG's Chief Marketing Officer.

Can I buy PXG clothing in the UK?

Not easily. PXG's UK and Europe site, uk.pxg.com, sells clubs, caps, gloves, socks and accessories, but its apparel collections are empty. We couldn't find a UK retailer that stocks PXG clothing either. The realistic option is PXG London South in Esher, Surrey, where PXG lists apparel in the showroom; call ahead to check what is in stock in your size. The US site prices in dollars and handles non-US orders by phone only.

How much does PXG clothing cost?

On pxg.com, tees are $65, most men's polos $110–$145 (about £85–£112), pullovers $155–$185 and jackets $195–$295, topped by a $375 blazer. Women's skirts run $145–$185. Around half the range was on sale at the time of writing, many polos at $50.

How does PXG sizing run?

Men's polos come in Athletic Fit (fitted waist, shorter body, slimmer shoulders) or Comfort Fit (relaxed, longer, wider), though some styles are Comfort Fit only. Each product page lists garment measurements for a Large, so compare them with a polo you own. Men's tops run S–3XL, trousers 30–42 inch waists, and most women's pieces 2XS–XL.

Where is PXG clothing made?

PXG doesn't state a country of manufacture on its clothing pages. PXG is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, and one women's jogger notes an Italian fabric. If origin matters to you, check the label at London South or ask Sales & Support before ordering.

What is PXG's return policy?

In the UK, you have 14 days from delivery to change your mind and 28 days to exchange. Items must be new, unused and tagged in their original packaging, and you pay return postage. Refunds take up to 10 working days after inspection. On pxg.com, clothing has a 30-day refund or exchange policy, but final-clearance items are non-returnable.

What is the PXG Darkness skull?

PXG's Darkness insignia is a skull with the number 26. According to PXG, it honours Bob Parsons and his service in the 26th Marine Corps Regiment. It appears on caps, towels, ball markers, headcovers and clothing such as the Darkness Pants, and it's the quickest way to spot PXG gear across a car park.

Is PXG apparel good quality?

The evidence is positive but thin. Polos use 85–88% nylon stretch knits with moisture-wicking, quick-dry and UV protection, and the Sport Pique Polo averages 4.75/5 from eight reviews. Trustpilot's 3.9/5 mostly reflects clubs and fittings. There's no large independent review base for the clothing, so trying it on at London South is the safest test.
