7 Best PXG Apparel Alternatives in 2026 | Ranked
Updated on: October 1, 2026

Exploring the brands UK golfers turn to when PXG's $125 polos aren't sold on its UK website.

How We Review Golf Clothing Brands
Every review on the Three Putt journal is written by Graeme Whiles, the founder of Three Putt Golf Clothing. As a competing brand, we have an obvious conflict of interest. We take this seriously and address it directly in our review methodology, which explains how we assess brands consistently regardless of whether they compete with us.
Top Picks
- Ping Apparel: Best overall club-maker alternative
- Castore Golf: Best for British technical golfwear for less
- Macade Golf: Best for premium performance with duties paid and free returns
- Three Putt Golf: Best for golf streetwear off the course
- Rhoback: Best for US performance polos priced in pounds
- Lululemon Golf: Best for premium golfwear with UK stores and free returns
- Reflo: Best for recycled-fabric golf kit from a UK brand
Why People Look Beyond PXG Apparel
UK golfers look beyond PXG Apparel mainly because it is so hard to buy here. In October 2026 PXG's UK website sold clubs, caps, gloves and socks but no clothing. Its US store prices in dollars and asks buyers outside the US to order by phone, and most polos cost $110–$145 (about £85–£112).
PXG Apparel is the clothing line of Parsons Xtreme Golf, the Scottsdale club maker Bob Parsons founded in 2013. Renee Parsons established it, ran it as President and Executive Creative Director from 2018, and became PXG's Chief Marketing Officer in late 2024. It's a serious wardrobe: 146 clothing pieces on pxg.com in October 2026, 74 of them for women. Men's polos come in Athletic and Comfort fits, and the Darkness skull, numbered 26, honours Bob Parsons' service in the 26th Marine Corps Regiment.
The tour story is strong too. PXG lists 33 tour pros, including England's Marco Penge, Jake Knapp and Céline Boutier, with Gary Player as an ambassador. That roster is built on clubs first, though, and the clothing is the side of PXG most British golfers never get to see.
The gaps are about access and detail. The apparel collections on uk.pxg.com were empty in October 2026, and Scottsdale Golf, Clubhouse Golf and GolfOnline listed PXG clubs, and in some cases caps or gloves, but no clothing. That leaves PXG London South, a store in Esher, Surrey. UK returns allow 14 days for a refund, at your own postage cost. The rain gear carries no published waterproof rating, and PXG publishes no sustainability programme.

Detailed Breakdown by Brand
Ping Apparel: Best Overall Club-Maker Alternative

Available on: pingeurope.com · Read our full Ping Apparel review
Key Features:
- Run by PING Europe in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, for the family-owned club maker founded in 1959 by Karsten and Louise Solheim
- PING's Sensor platform (SensorCool polos, SensorWarm layers and SensorDry waterproofs) plus AquaDrive rainwear
- Men's, women's and junior ranges: polos, mid-layers, knitwear, trousers, shorts, waterproofs and caps
- Sells Team Europe's 2026 Solheim Cup kit
Pros:
- The same idea as PXG, a club maker's own clothing line, but sold in pounds online and through American Golf, Function18, Clubhouse Golf and GolfOnline
- Polos at £45–£65, against PXG's $110–$145 (about £85–£112)
- £5 UK delivery that's free over £50, from a UK site that actually sells clothing
- The AquaDrive Pro jacket is rated to 30,000mm, with a five-year limited warranty on AquaDrive Pro and SensorDry 2.5 pieces
Cons:
- Only 14 days to return a direct order, posted back at your own cost, which is no better than PXG's UK terms
- Safe, club-friendly styling with none of PXG's skull, camo prints or black-and-white edge
- The £300 AquaDrive Pro jacket costs more than PXG's $295 (about £227) rain jacket
Verdict:
Ping is the closest like-for-like swap: a club maker's clothing line, but one you can buy in pounds online and in golf shops across Britain. Its polos cost roughly half as much as PXG's, and its top waterproofs carry a published rating and a warranty. What it won't give you is the Darkness skull, which for some PXG buyers is the whole point.
Castore Golf: Best for British Technical Golfwear for Less

Available on: castore.com · Read our full Castore Golf review
Key Features:
- British sportswear brand started by brothers Tom and Phil Beahon, with its first golf collection in April 2019
- Named fabric tech: AerTek moisture-wicking, ProTek water-repellent finishes, OTek odour control on some polos and the LVS (Layered Ventilation System) range
- Dresses LIV Golf's Majesticks Golf Club and sells a Castore x Paul Smith golf capsule
- UK golf distribution runs through Specialist Sports, under a multi-year deal that began with spring/summer 2026
Pros:
- The £48 Essential polo and £65–£78 golf trousers cost far less than PXG's $125 Heritage Polo and $135 Essential Golf Pants
- Sold online in pounds, with £3.95 UK delivery that's free over £60
- Free returns within 28 days, where PXG's UK returns are at your own cost
- A Trustpilot score of 4.5 from more than 10,000 reviews in October 2026
Cons:
- No women's golf clothing on castore.com in October 2026, where PXG's women's range runs to 74 pieces
- Its golf jackets are water-resistant rather than waterproof, so there's no answer to PXG's seam-sealed rain gear
- No exchanges, so you return for a refund and reorder, and sizes run XS–2XL against PXG's S–3XL
Verdict:
Castore is the British answer to PXG's athletic menswear, at around half the price and with free returns. It is easy to buy online in pounds, which is exactly where PXG falls down for UK golfers. The gap is women's golf clothing, the one area where PXG is unusually strong.
Macade Golf: Best for Premium Performance with Duties Paid and Free Returns

Available on: eu.macadegolf.com · Read our full Macade Golf review
Key Features:
- Stockholm brand founded in 2019 "to reimagine golf apparel for a new generation"
- Named fabric platforms, including Ridgeweave knits, TX stretch, Therma midlayers, Storm wind pieces and HydroCore waterproofs
- Full men's and women's lines, with women's skirts, skorts, dresses and tailored polos in XS–XL
- DP World Tour player Ewen Ferguson wears it, and Alex Norén, who signed in 2023, has his own Players Collection
Pros:
- Its European store prices in pounds and ships Delivered Duty Paid, so VAT and duties are in the checkout total, with free standard UK delivery
- Free returns and size exchanges within 30 days, using a prepaid label
- The HydroCore Rain Jacket (£295) is rated to 20,000mm with a PFAS-free finish, where PXG publishes no rating
- UK golf retailers including Function18 and Clubhouse Golf stock it
Cons:
- A Trustpilot score of 3.8 from 78 reviews, with complaints about slow refunds and return-label hassle
- Not a saving: polos run £70–£110 and joggers £120, close to PXG's converted prices
- Men's sizes stop at XXL, and product pages don't say where garments are made
Verdict:
Macade is the closest match for PXG's fashion-forward premium look, with the buying problems fixed: duties paid, free delivery, free 30-day returns and UK stockists. Prices land in similar territory, so this is a swap for access rather than savings. Its women's line is a genuine match for PXG's, too.
Three Putt Golf: Best for Golf Streetwear Off the Course

Available on: threeputtgolfclothing.co.uk · Read our full PXG vs Three Putt comparison
Key Features:
- Leeds-based UK golf streetwear brand selling tees, long-sleeve tees, sweatshirts and hoodies
- Six graphic designs across all four streetwear garments: Contours, Happy Place, Tee Time, Reckless Driving, The Scenic Route and Three on the Green
- Tees in 305gsm, 100% cotton with a relaxed fit, S–2XL, in five colourways per design
- Oversized drop-shoulder hoodies at 430gsm (56% cotton, 44% polyester), S–2XL, in four colourways per design
Pros:
- Tees at £24.99–£30.99 and hoodies at £45.99–£54.99, against PXG's $65 tees and $95–$195 hoodies
- Free UK delivery from a UK site, priced in pounds
- 400gsm cotton crewneck sweatshirts (£37.99–£47.99) and oversized drop-shoulder 305gsm long-sleeve tees (£28.99–£35.99) for cooler days off the course
Cons:
- No performance polos, trousers, outerwear or women's-specific range, which is most of what PXG sells
- Cotton streetwear rather than technical kit, with no moisture-wicking, stretch fabric or weather protection
- Returns within 14 days of delivery: email support@threeputtgolfclothing.co.uk first, and you pay the return postage
Verdict:
PXG sells a full performance wardrobe and Three Putt sells four cotton garments, so this is a partial answer. It covers the off-course end, hoodies, sweatshirts and tees with a graphic edge, in pounds with free UK delivery. Golfers at clubs with a collared-shirt dress code will want a polo rather than a tee.
Rhoback: Best for US Performance Polos Priced in Pounds

Available on: rhoback.com · Read our full Rhoback review
Key Features:
- Founded in 2016 in Charlottesville, Virginia, by Kevin Hubbard and Kristina and Matthew Loftus
- Revenue passed $150 million in 2025, and CHAMP took a minority stake of nearly $50 million, announced in June 2026
- Polos in 92% polyester and 8% spandex with UPF 40–50+, in S–3XL
- Men's, women's, kids' and licensed collegiate lines alongside its polos and Q-Zips
Pros:
- Its UK storefront showed men's polos at £73–£82 and Q-Zips at £98–£113 in October 2026, below PXG's $110–$145 polos
- Ships to the UK for a flat $24 (about £18), where PXG's US store asks overseas buyers to phone
- Women's and kids' ranges, where PXG makes no junior clothing
- Fit meters on its polos average true to size, which helps when returns cross the Atlantic
Cons:
- Customs and VAT come on top of the shipping fee
- International returns are at your own cost, with no prepaid labels outside the US
- No published sustainability certifications or recycled-fabric programme, and a US-flavoured catalogue that includes a licensed collegiate range covering 78 schools
Verdict:
Rhoback is the American premium polo you can actually order from Britain, priced in pounds with a flat shipping fee. Import charges and return postage still fall on you, so get the size right first. It matches PXG's stretch performance polos for less money, but not its attitude.
Lululemon Golf: Best for Premium Golfwear with UK Stores and Free Returns

Available on: lululemon.co.uk · Read our full Lululemon Golf review
Key Features:
- A dedicated "Designed for Golf" line since spring 2022, with full men's and women's golf edits on the UK site
- Fabric tech including Warpstreme four-way stretch, ShowZero sweat-concealing polos and Silverescent anti-odour
- PGA Tour players Min Woo Lee (January 2024) and Max Homa (January 2025) wear it
- The £138 ABC Golf Trouser adds a tee pocket, and the Waterproof Golf Jacket costs £228–£248
Pros:
- More than 20 UK stores, which handle returns, exchanges and free trouser hemming in person, against PXG's single Esher store
- Free 30-day online returns, and free UK delivery over £50
- A women's golf edit with polos at £58–£78 and a £128 golf dress, competing directly with PXG's women's range
- £78 polos in pounds, below PXG's $110–$145
Cons:
- Headwear can't be returned, and lululemon.co.uk scored 1.9 from 377 Trustpilot reviews
- In 2025 it cut its 2030 preferred-materials target from 100% to 90%
- Logo-light athleisure styling with none of PXG's military-edged identity
Verdict:
Lululemon is the practical premium answer: technical golfwear in pounds, more than 20 UK stores and a month to change your mind. Its women's edit competes with PXG's directly. What it can't sell you is the edge, because its style is designed to blend in.
Reflo: Best for Recycled-Fabric Golf Kit from a UK Brand

Available on: reflo.com · Read our full Reflo review
Key Features:
- British sportswear brand founded in 2021 by Rory MacFadyen and Peter Philippou
- Recycled polyester runs through its core golf garments, from 42% to 100% depending on the piece
- Officially licensed by The R&A for a second Open in 2026, with a capsule for Royal Birkdale
- Harry Kane is its global brand ambassador and led its 2024 seed round
Pros:
- Recycled content is stated garment by garment, such as 100% recycled polyester in the £49 Bohai polo, where PXG publishes no sustainability programme
- Polos at £49–£79 in pounds, below PXG's $110–$145
- Free UK returns and exchanges within 30 days, and free delivery on orders over £70
Cons:
- No women's golf range, against PXG's 74 women's pieces
- Its own site names no certifications, so the recycled figures rest on its garment labels
- No fully waterproof golf jacket, and support is by email on weekdays only
Verdict:
Reflo is the pick if PXG's silence on sustainability bothers you. Its recycled content is listed piece by piece, its polos cost less than PXG's, and UK returns are free. It only dresses men for golf, though, and it won't keep you dry in a downpour.
Quick Comparison Grid
| Brand | Best For | Price Range | Sustainability |
| PXG Apparel | Premium club-maker fashion, hard to buy in the UK | £££ | None published: no programme, and one women's jogger's fabric is the only "sustainable" claim |
| Ping Apparel | A club maker's wardrobe sold across the UK | ££ | Item by item: the Lindum polo is 100% recycled polyester, with no wider programme |
| Castore Golf | British technical golfwear for less | ££ | None stated on its golf product pages |
| Macade Golf | Premium style with duties paid and free returns | £££ | Minimal: BCI cotton in one knit and a PFAS-free rainwear finish; no recycled-content or certification claims |
| Three Putt Golf | Golf streetwear for off the course | £–££ | No recycled-content or eco claims; tees are 100% cotton |
| Rhoback | US performance polos priced in pounds | ££–£££ | None published (no certifications or recycled-fabric programme) |
| Lululemon Golf | Premium golfwear with UK stores and free returns | £££ | Moderate: published 2030 targets, with the preferred-materials goal cut to 90% in 2025 |
| Reflo | Recycled-fabric golf kit from a UK brand | ££ | High: 42–100% recycled polyester across core garments; no certifications named on its own pages |
Summary
PXG Apparel is a real fashion line with a clear point of view. It offers two polo fits, a women's range bigger than its men's, honest garment measurements and the unmistakable Darkness skull.
For UK golfers, the problem is access. PXG's UK website sells no clothing, UK golf retailers stock its clubs rather than its clothes, and the US store handles overseas orders by phone. That leaves one store in Esher, 14-day refunds at your own cost and $110–$145 for most polos.
Ping gives you a club maker's wardrobe through British golf shops at roughly half the money. Castore and Reflo are British, cheaper and sold online in pounds, and Reflo leads on recycled fabric. Macade matches the fashion ambition with duties paid, Rhoback ships its US polos for a flat $24, and Lululemon adds UK stores and free returns.
Three Putt covers the off-course side, the hoodies and tees, with free UK delivery. For more premium labels, see our guide to luxury golf brands.

Frequently Asked Questions About PXG Apparel
Who owns PXG?
Bob Parsons, PXG's founder and CEO. He founded Parsons Xtreme Golf in Scottsdale, Arizona, in 2013 and owns it through YAM Worldwide, his holding company. Parsons is a Marine Corps Vietnam veteran who also founded GoDaddy. His wife, Renee Parsons, established PXG Apparel, ran it from 2018 and has been PXG's Chief Marketing Officer since late 2024.
Can I buy PXG clothing in the UK?
Not online. In October 2026 the apparel collections on uk.pxg.com were empty, and UK golf retailers listed PXG clubs and accessories rather than clothing. The realistic option is PXG London South in Esher, Surrey, whose page says it carries PXG apparel. Call ahead on 01372 898700 to check stock in your size. The US site prices in dollars and handles non-US orders by phone.
How much does PXG clothing cost?
On pxg.com in October 2026, full prices ran from $65 for a tee to $375 for the Every Occasion Blazer. Most men's polos cost $110–$145 (about £85–£112), pullovers and quarter-zips $155–$185, trousers $135–$225 and jackets $195–$295. Women's skirts cost $145–$185. These are US prices, before any shipping or import charges for UK buyers.
What is the PXG Darkness skull?
PXG's Darkness insignia is a skull with the number 26. According to PXG, it honours Bob Parsons and his service in the 26th Marine Corps Regiment. It appears on caps, towels, ball markers, headcovers and clothing such as the $225 Essential Darkness Pants and the $120 Darkness Track Jacket. In the UK, caps are the easiest PXG pieces to buy: uk.pxg.com sells them, including Darkness skull snapbacks, mostly at £39.
Who wears PXG on tour?
PXG lists 33 tour pros, including England's Marco Penge, Christiaan Bezuidenhout, Jake Knapp, Eric Cole, Aldrich Potgieter, Céline Boutier and Megan Khang, with Gary Player as an ambassador. The roster is built around PXG's clubs first. In PXG's spring/summer 2026 launch, staff player Olivia Cowan called the clothing "light, comfortable, and really easy to move in".
What is PXG's UK returns policy?
UK orders have 14 days to change your mind for a refund and 28 days to exchange. Items must be unused, tagged and in their original packaging, and you pay the return postage. Refunds are processed within 10 working days after inspection. On pxg.com, US clothing orders get 30 days to return or exchange, but final-clearance items can't be returned.
Does PXG make women's golf clothing?
Yes, and it's one of the brand's strengths. In October 2026 pxg.com listed 74 women's clothing pieces, more than the 69 for men. They include skirts at $145–$185, dresses, a romper, cardigans and the $110 RP Signature Polo, designed for Renee Parsons. Most styles run 2XS–XL. The same UK access problem applies, so Macade and Lululemon are the easier women's alternatives here.
How does PXG sizing run?
Men's polos come in Athletic Fit, which is trimmer and shorter, or Comfort Fit, which is relaxed and longer, though some styles are Comfort Fit only. Product pages list garment measurements for a Large, so compare them with a polo you own. Men's tops run S–3XL, trousers 30–42 inch waists and most women's pieces 2XS–XL. There's no junior clothing.
