Honest Quiet Golf Clothing Review 2026 | Three Putt Golf

Updated on: October 1, 2026 • ~11 min read

Author: Graeme

We test golf apparel the way we play. Hard, social, and honest.

Golf clothing with the volume turned all the way down: muted polos, stretch trousers and Harris Tweed headcovers from Costa Mesa.

How We Review Golf Clothing Brands

Every review on the Three Putt journal is written by Graeme Whiles, the founder of Three Putt Golf Clothing. As a competing brand, we have an obvious conflict of interest. We take this seriously and address it directly in our review methodology, which explains how we assess brands consistently regardless of whether they compete with us.

Verdict: 7.4/10

Quiet Golf is a Costa Mesa, California golf label, co-founded in 2021 by Christion Lennon with brothers Raul and Diego Diaz, selling understated polos, trousers and golf objects. We liked the £89 Active Pique polos, the handmade Harris Tweed headcovers and a UK version of the store that prices in pounds.

It has also narrowed its focus. After a 2024 seed round led by Old Tom Capital, the brand turned towards pro shops, and its webshop now carries 23 products, nine of them polos. The cashmere, tees and pleated linen of earlier seasons are no longer on the site.

Where it falls short for UK golfers: customs charges are your problem, and its two returns pages disagree (14 days or 30). Approved returns can carry a 5% restocking fee. There's no UK stockist, no women's line and no customer reviews to lean on.

This brand is best for golfers who want a quiet, well-made polo with no slogans, and who are happy to buy carefully from California.

Quiet Golf not the right brand for you? Check out our comprehensive list of the best Quiet Golf alternatives.

Key Features

  • Signature tech/fabric: Active Pique and Active Jersey performance polos (polyester with 4–10% spandex), a Supima cotton polo made in Portugal, and stretch cotton-nylon trousers
  • Design language: Restrained country-club minimalism: QG flag and monogram logos, muted colours like pine, wine, navy and bone
  • Fit profile: Measured size charts on every product; tops run S–XXL and bottoms 28–36 waist, with the San Marino bottoms cut long to allow for shrinkage
  • Range depth: Polos, one hoodie, one corduroy jacket, one trouser and short, hats, headcovers and small objects; no tees, knitwear, waterproofs or women's line right now

Pros

  • Clean, logo-light performance polos at £89, with fabric content listed on every product page
  • Proper collaborations: an adidas Samba Golf, Harris Tweed headcovers with Ross Co. Golf, and earlier PUMA and Holderness & Bourne capsules
  • A UK version of the store that shows prices in pounds
  • A real flagship in Costa Mesa, and pieces in green-grass shops such as Maidstone Club

Cons

  • A thin range: 23 products, and the Cashmere menu link currently leads to an empty page
  • Customs charges sit with the buyer, and duties paid on delivery aren't refunded
  • Contradictory returns terms (14 or 30 days), a 5% restocking fee and no order cancellations
  • No UK stockists, no women's products and no on-site or Trustpilot reviews

Quiet Golf Pricing

Quiet Golf prices like a contemporary menswear label that happens to make golf clothes. A UK visitor sees pounds: £89 for most polos, £115 for the hoodie and the shorts, and up to £154 for the corduroy jacket. The pound prices track the US dollar prices at about $1.28 to £1, so they don't appear to include UK import VAT or duty.

Category Entry Typical Premium
Polos £89 £89 £97
Midlayers/Outerwear £115 £115–£154 £154
Trousers/Shorts £115 £115–£138 £138
Headwear £39 £39 £43
Headcovers/Bags £89 £103 £109

UK store prices, before shipping and any import charges: Active Pique and Active Jersey polos £89 ($114 in the US), Hampton long-sleeve polo £97 ($124), Vintage Supima Cotton Polo £92 ($118), Monterey Hoodie £115 ($148), Cardroom Corduroy Jacket £154 ($198), San Marino Short £115 ($148), San Marino Pant £138 ($178), dad hats and 5-panel £39 ($50), Flag Visor £43 ($55), Harris Tweed headcovers £89–£103 ($114–$132), QG x Sentinel Golf Scout Bag £109 ($140), Quiet Please incense holder £20.

Comparison:

  • Quiet Golf vs Three Putt: Both are a reaction against fussy golfwear, at very different volumes. Quiet Golf's Monterey Hoodie is £115 before customs from California. Three Putt is a UK brand with heavyweight hoodies at £45.99–£54.99, tees from £24.99 and free UK delivery. Hushed, or said out loud.
  • Quiet Golf vs Holderness & Bourne: Former collaborators and close neighbours on price: H&B polos run $115–$150, Quiet's mostly $114. H&B sells a sharply tailored, structured-collar polo. Quiet Golf sells a plainer, logo-light one with shell buttons.
  • Quiet Golf vs Malbon: Two Southern California fashion labels that have both put their name on an adidas Samba Golf. Malbon is graphic, playful and drop-driven. Quiet Golf is its muted opposite: no graphic prints, no slogans, just a small logo on the chest.
  • Quiet Golf vs Manors: If you like the understated look but not the import paperwork, Manors is the British take on refined, crossover golfwear. You get similar restraint without customs or a return parcel to California.

Promos/Outlet Notes: Nothing in the current range is marked down. The standing offer is 10% off for newsletter sign-ups. Free shipping is advertised for US orders, not UK ones, and sale items and gift cards can't be returned.

Verdict: 7.0/10

Fair for what the polos are, and pricing in pounds helps. But £89 is before shipping and any import charges, and with no sale stock or UK delivery offer, the landed cost of a polo will be noticeably higher than the sticker.

Quiet Golf Fit & Sizing (Usability)

Quiet Golf publishes a measured size chart for each product type, tucked under the size selector. The polo charts point to a regular cut rather than a slim one, and the trousers come with a clear instruction to order your true size, because they're cut long to allow for shrinkage.

Notes:

  • Polos: The Active Pique chart runs from a 20¼-inch chest (S) to 26¾ inches (XXL), with body lengths of 28–32 inches. Note the three-inch jump in chest between L and XL, so check the chart if you sit between them.
  • Cotton polos: The Vintage Supima polo is cut slightly longer, with a 30–33 inch body length across the run.
  • Midlayers: The Monterey Hoodie charts at a 20¼–27¾ inch chest, a roomier cut than the polos.
  • Trousers/Shorts: The San Marino Pant and Short come in 28–36 waists. The pant has a 32-inch inseam and the short a 7½-inch inseam.
  • Heat/Humidity: The poly-spandex polos are built for warm rounds, and the San Marino fabric is described as quick-drying with four-way stretch.
  • Size Charts: Clear, measured charts per product, though in inches only.

Accessibility/Range:

  • Tops run S–XXL: no XS and nothing above XXL.
  • Bottoms run 28–36 waist, and hats are one size.
  • No women's products at the moment; the women's collection page is empty.

Verdict: 7.5/10

Honest, measured charts and a sensible "order your true size" note on the trousers. The narrow size run and the absence of anything for women hold it back.

Quiet Golf Core Product Categories

Polos

The heart of the brand. There are nine polos: Active Pique styles (Hampton, Remy, Sunny, Randolph) at £89, Active Jersey styles (Claremont, Lowell) at £89, a long-sleeve Hampton at £97 and the Vintage Supima Cotton Polo at £92. The Supima polo is made in Portugal. The performance polos have three-button plackets and Trocas shell buttons, the kind of detail you notice at the turn.

Verdict: 8.2/10

Midlayers & Outerwear

Two pieces. The Monterey Hoodie (£115) uses a cotton, modal and nylon blend milled in Portugal. The Cardroom Corduroy Jacket (£154) is 100% cotton corduroy with a polyester lining. Both are clubhouse-smart rather than weatherproof, and there's no knitwear in stock despite a Cashmere link in the menu.

Verdict: 7.0/10

Trousers & Shorts

One style in two lengths: the San Marino Pant (£138) and Short (£115), in navy or bone. The fabric is 57% cotton, 35% nylon and 8% spandex, with four-way stretch, a quick-drying finish and a snap front with a secondary button. Smart and flexible, but one style isn't a bottoms programme.

Verdict: 7.4/10

Headwear

Unstructured cotton and nylon dad hats at £39 with the QG flag or monogram, a 5-panel at £39 and a Flag Visor at £43 that's made in the USA. The visor and the 5-panel were both sold out on 1 October 2026. Clean and low-key.

Verdict: 7.5/10

Headcovers, Bags & Collabs

This is where Quiet Golf feels most like a world. The Harris Tweed driver (£103) and fairway (£89) headcovers are made with Ross Co. Golf in the USA, cut to order and crafted by hand, using Harris Tweed handwoven in the Outer Hebrides. The QG x Sentinel Golf Scout Bag (£109) is a small, US-made pouch with a magnetic closure. Past collabs include an adidas Samba Golf ($150, October 2025), plus PUMA and Holderness & Bourne.

Verdict: 8.0/10

Quiet Golf Materials & Tech (Construction, Sustainability)

Quiet Golf doesn't sell a proprietary fabric story. It sells well-chosen, clearly labelled fabrics. The Active Pique copy promises "breathability without the shine", which is a fair summary of the whole brand.

Backend (manufacturing & standards):

  • The Supima polo is made in Portugal, and the Monterey Hoodie's fabric is milled there.
  • The Harris Tweed headcovers, the Flag Visor and the Sentinel bag are made in the USA.
  • Country of manufacture isn't stated for the Active Pique and Active Jersey polos.
  • No sustainability claims or certifications are published.

Application (on-garment features):

  • Active Pique polos: 93–96% polyester with 4–7% spandex, four-way stretch and moisture-wicking.
  • Active Jersey polos: 90% polyester, 10% spandex, for a smoother, stretchier hand.
  • Vintage Supima polo: 96% Supima cotton, 4% elastane, for a soft polo with some give.
  • San Marino bottoms: 57% cotton, 35% nylon, 8% spandex, quick-drying, with a snap front.
  • Monterey Hoodie: 42% cotton, 42% modal, 16% nylon.

Verdict: 7.6/10

Clear labelling and good fabric choices, with some genuine made-in-Portugal and made-in-USA pieces. Missing country of origin on the core polos and no sustainability detail keep it short of the top marks.

Quiet Golf Customer Support

Support is email-first and boutique-sized, with a lovely flagship as the in-person option. The written policies are where it wobbles: two returns pages, two different answers.

Channels & Hours

  • Email: orders@quietgolfclub.com for returns, and ProShop@quietgolfclub.com is named in the shipping policy for order questions.
  • A contact form on the site; no phone number or live chat is listed.
  • The flagship at 2949 Randolph Ave, Costa Mesa, opens Tuesday to Sunday, 11am–7pm.

Policies

  • Orders ship within five business days, with up to one to two weeks for delivery. International shipping is priced by country and weight at checkout.
  • Quiet Golf takes no responsibility for customs charges, and duties paid on delivery aren't refundable.
  • The returns page allows 30 days from delivery, with a 5% restocking fee on all approved returns and return postage on international buyers.
  • The store's refund policy says 14 days, starting by email, with no direct exchanges and no returns on sale items. Plan on 14.
  • Orders can't be changed or cancelled once placed, and shipping fees aren't refunded.

Self-Serve

  • A returns portal (Redo), though its free-returns option doesn't apply to international orders.
  • Size charts on every product and pound pricing on the UK store.
  • Gift cards from $50 (about £38) and 10% off for newsletter sign-ups.

Verdict: 6.0/10

Polite and well presented, but contradictory returns windows, a restocking fee, no cancellations and customs left with the buyer make it a cautious purchase from the UK.

What Are Quiet Golf's Review Ratings from Review Sites?

(As of October 2026)

  • Trustpilot: No profile for quietgolf.com on Trustpilot UK, so there's no independent customer score.
  • On-site: Product pages don't display customer reviews, so there are no verified-buyer ratings either.
  • Media: Hypebeast covered the Old Tom Capital investment in October 2024. Lennon told it: "I want our clothes to be where the best golf is played." Gear Patrol called the collab the "cleanest Adidas Samba sneaker ever built". The Old Ghosts profiled the flagship in April 2026.
  • Reach: About 41,000 Instagram followers, a Foresight simulator in the Costa Mesa store, and stock in green-grass shops such as Maidstone Club in East Hampton.

Synthesis:

Quiet Golf's reputation is editorial rather than starred. Fashion and golf-culture press take it seriously, and its collabs sell, but there's no customer-review footprint to confirm how the clothes hold up. As co-founder Diego Diaz put it about golf itself: "You can't fake it, and you can't rush it."

Is Quiet Golf a Good Golf Brand?

Yes, for the right buyer. Quiet Golf makes good-looking, carefully specified polos and some of the nicest small accessories in golf, and the brand has real taste behind it. But the range is thin right now, the returns terms contradict each other, and UK buyers carry the customs bill. If you want golf-culture clothing from a UK brand with free UK delivery, Three Putt's golf tees and heavyweight hoodies skip the import friction. For more US labels, see our guide to American golf brands.

Frequently Asked Questions About Quiet Golf

Who owns Quiet Golf?

Quiet Golf was co-founded in 2021 by Christion Lennon, who launched the brand Museum of Peace & Quiet in 2019, and brothers Raul and Diego Diaz. Lennon is CEO. In October 2024 the brand closed a seed funding round led by Old Tom Capital, a golf-focused investment firm, to grow its pro-shop business and performance range.

Where is Quiet Golf based?

Costa Mesa, in Orange County, California. The flagship store is at 2949 Randolph Ave and opens Tuesday to Sunday, 11am–7pm. It has a Foresight simulator inside. Beyond the flagship and quietgolf.com, the brand sells to golf club pro shops, and its pieces appear in shops such as Maidstone Club in East Hampton.

Does Quiet Golf ship to the UK?

Yes. The UK version of the store shows prices in pounds, and shipping is priced by country and weight at checkout. Orders ship within five business days and can take one to two weeks to arrive. Quiet Golf says it isn't responsible for customs charges, so budget for import VAT, possible duty and courier fees on delivery.

What is Quiet Golf's return policy?

It depends which page you read. The returns page allows 30 days from delivery with a 5% restocking fee on approved returns. The store's refund policy says 14 days and no returns on sale items or gift cards. International buyers pay return postage, duties aren't refunded, and orders can't be cancelled once placed.

How does Quiet Golf sizing run?

Every product has a measured size chart, and the polos point to a regular rather than slim cut. Tops run S–XXL, with a three-inch chest jump from L to XL on the Active Pique polos. The San Marino trousers and shorts come in 28–36 waists and are cut long for shrinkage, so order your true size.

Where is Quiet Golf clothing made?

It varies by product. The Vintage Supima Cotton Polo is made in Portugal, and the Monterey Hoodie's fabric is milled there. The Harris Tweed headcovers, the Flag Visor and the QG x Sentinel bag are made in the USA. The product pages for the Active Pique and Active Jersey polos don't state a country of manufacture.

Is Quiet Golf good quality?

The specifications are strong: Supima cotton, poly-spandex performance knits, shell buttons and handmade Harris Tweed headcovers. What's missing is customer evidence. There are no reviews on the product pages and no Trustpilot profile, so you're relying on the brand's reputation and press coverage rather than verified buyers.

Did Quiet Golf collaborate with adidas?

Yes. The Quiet Golf x adidas Samba Golf launched in October 2025 at $150: a white leather spikeless Samba with patent overlays and olive accents. It was selling out quickly at launch and isn't on the site now. The brand has also worked with PUMA, Holderness & Bourne, Ross Co. Golf and Sentinel.

Can you buy Quiet Golf in UK shops?

Not at the major golf retailers. American Golf, Scottsdale Golf, Function18, Clubhouse Golf and GolfOnline don't list the brand, and we couldn't find another UK stockist. For now, UK buyers order direct from quietgolf.com, which shows UK visitors prices in pounds but leaves customs charges with the buyer.
