7 Best Quiet Golf Alternatives in 2026 | Ranked

Exploring the brands UK golfers turn to when Quiet Golf's customs charges and mixed returns terms get in the way.

How We Review Golf Clothing Brands
Every review on the Three Putt journal is written by Graeme Whiles, the founder of Three Putt Golf Clothing. As a competing brand, we have an obvious conflict of interest. We take this seriously and address it directly in our review methodology, which explains how we assess brands consistently regardless of whether they compete with us.
Top Picks
- Macade Golf: Best overall for design-led kit with duties paid at checkout
- Sounder Golf: Best for considered design shipped from London
- Three Putt Golf: Best for golf streetwear off the course
- Criquet: Best for cotton shirts with a 60-day returns window
- Lululemon Golf: Best for quiet technical kit from a brand with UK stores
- Redvanly: Best for pull-on golf trousers and shorts
- Fairway & Greene: Best for Italian merino knitwear
Why People Look Beyond Quiet Golf
UK golfers mostly look beyond Quiet Golf because of the buying terms, not the clothes. Its UK store prices in pounds, but customs charges sit with the buyer and its two returns pages disagree on 14 or 30 days. In October 2026 the range was also thin, with nothing for women.
Quiet Golf is a Costa Mesa, California label, co-founded in 2021 by Christion Lennon with brothers Raul and Diego Diaz. It makes logo-light polos in muted colours, plus a hoodie, a corduroy jacket, one trouser and short, hats and Harris Tweed headcovers. Old Tom Capital led a seed round in October 2024, and an adidas Samba Golf collaboration launched a year later. Lennon told Hypebeast in 2024: "I want our clothes to be where the best golf is played."
The UK version of its store shows pounds. In October 2026 that meant £89 for most polos, £115 for the Monterey Hoodie and £138 for the San Marino Pant. Those prices work out at about $1.28 to the pound, so they don't appear to include import VAT or duty. Shipping is priced by country and weight at checkout, and the brand says it takes no responsibility for customs charges. Its shipping page adds that it does its best to mark orders as gifts. The GOV.UK gift rules cover items sent between individuals, not companies, so don't count on that.
Returns are where it gets muddled. The returns page allows 30 days from delivery, with a 5% restocking fee on approved returns. The store's refund policy says 14 days, starting with an email, with no direct exchanges and no returns on sale items. International buyers pay return postage, duties paid on delivery aren't refunded, and orders can't be cancelled once placed.
The range has narrowed too. Its webshop carried 23 products in October 2026, and eight of its nine polos are 90–96% polyester performance knits. The Cashmere menu link leads to an empty page, there are no tees, and the women's collection is empty. There's no UK stockist, and no customer reviews on the product pages or Trustpilot. The seven alternatives below are ranked by how well each answers those gaps for UK golfers.

Detailed Breakdown by Brand
Macade Golf: Best Overall for Design-Led Kit with Duties Paid at Checkout

Available on: eu.macadegolf.com · Read our full Macade Golf review
Key Features:
- Stockholm brand founded in 2019, pairing performance fabrics with Scandinavian design, and says it has clothed more than 150,000 golfers
- Full men's and women's ranges: polos, knits, joggers, trousers, shorts, skirts, dresses, gilets and wind layers
- HydroCore waterproofs added in September 2026, rated to 20,000mm with a PFAS-free finish
- Its tour team includes Ewen Ferguson on the DP World Tour and Gabriella Then on the LPGA Tour, and Alex Norén, who signed in 2023, has his own Players Collection
Pros:
- Ships Delivered Duty Paid from its European store, so VAT and duties are in the checkout total, where Quiet Golf leaves customs with the buyer
- Free standard UK delivery and free 30-day returns with size exchanges, against Quiet Golf's conflicting 14 or 30 days and 5% restocking fee
- Stocked in Britain by Function18 and Clubhouse Golf, where Quiet Golf has no UK stockist
- A full women's range, where Quiet Golf's women's collection is empty
Cons:
- Dearer polos on paper: the AR Tech Polo was £110 in October 2026, against Quiet Golf's £89 before import charges
- Trustpilot showed 3.8 from 78 reviews in October 2026, with complaints about slow refunds
- Men's sizes stop at XXL, the same ceiling as Quiet Golf, and product pages don't say where garments are made
Verdict:
Macade sells the same restrained, design-led idea, and it handles the paperwork for you. Duties are paid at checkout, UK returns are free and two British retailers stock it. Its polos cost more on paper, and its refund record is worth reading before you order.
Sounder Golf: Best for Considered Design Shipped from London

Available on: soundergolf.com · Read our full Sounder Golf review
Key Features:
- London golf brand launched in March 2021 by Cathal McAteer, founder of the fashion label Folk, and James Day, founder of Urban Golf
- The name revives Sounder, a club brand Seve Ballesteros once played
- Its polos are made in Portugal from 100% organic cotton, according to its product pages
- The range runs to pleated Good Walk chinos, knitwear and the £275 Sounder x Protected Species waterproof jacket, rated to 15,000mm
Pros:
- Priced in pounds with VAT included and shipped from London, at £5.95 for UK delivery or free over £100
- Organic cotton polos at £75–£85 in October 2026, where most of Quiet Golf's polos are polyester
- Stocked at Carnoustie Golf Links, Gleneagles, Nairn, the Carnegie Club at Skibo Castle and Cleeve Hill
- Trustpilot showed 4.7 from 573 reviews in October 2026, where Quiet Golf has no Trustpilot profile
Cons:
- Only 14 days to return, and shipping costs aren't refunded
- No women's range, the same gap as Quiet Golf
- Most polos run S–XXL, and the chinos have a cropped inside leg
Verdict:
Sounder is the British answer to Quiet Golf: polos made in Portugal, a clear design point of view and a London warehouse. It goes further on natural fibres, with organic cotton polos where Quiet Golf mostly sells polyester. The 14-day returns window is no more generous, but there's no customs bill.
Three Putt Golf: Best for Golf Streetwear Off the Course

Available on: threeputtgolfclothing.co.uk · Read our full Quiet Golf vs Three Putt comparison
Key Features:
- Leeds-based UK golf streetwear brand selling tees, long-sleeve tees, sweatshirts and hoodies
- Six graphic designs across all four streetwear garments: Contours, Happy Place, Tee Time, Reckless Driving, The Scenic Route and Three on the Green
- Tees in 305gsm, 100% cotton with a relaxed fit, S–2XL, in five colourways per design
- Oversized drop-shoulder hoodies at 430gsm (56% cotton, 44% polyester), S–2XL, in four colourways per design
Pros:
- Tees at £24.99–£30.99 and hoodies at £45.99–£54.99, against £115 for Quiet Golf's Monterey Hoodie
- Free UK delivery from a UK site, priced in pounds with no import charges
- 400gsm cotton crewneck sweatshirts (£37.99–£47.99) and oversized drop-shoulder 305gsm long-sleeve tees (£28.99–£35.99) for cooler days off the course
Cons:
- No trousers or outerwear, and a much smaller polo range than Quiet Golf's
- Cotton streetwear rather than technical kit, with no moisture-wicking, stretch fabric or weather protection
- Returns within 14 days of delivery: email support@threeputtgolfclothing.co.uk first, and you pay the return postage
Verdict:
Quiet Golf is a polo brand and Three Putt is mostly a streetwear one, so this is a partial answer. It covers the hoodie and the sweatshirt for under half the price of the Monterey, with graphics in place of a small logo. Golfers at clubs with a collared-shirt dress code will want a polo rather than a tee.
Criquet: Best for Cotton Shirts with a 60-Day Returns Window

Available on: criquetshirts.com · Read our full Criquet review
Key Features:
- Founded in Austin, Texas in 2010 by Billy Nachman and Hobson Brown
- Built around the Players Shirt, a throwback golf shirt with a structured collar and removable collar stays
- Its cotton Players Shirts are made in Peru
- The range adds shackets, quilted pieces and a Member's Guest Jacket, with shirts in S–XXL
Pros:
- 60 days to return unworn, unwashed items, against Quiet Golf's 14 or 30 days and its 5% restocking fee
- Cotton Players Shirts, where eight of Quiet Golf's nine polos are mostly polyester
- Top-Shelf and Performance Players Shirts listed at $104 in October 2026, a little below Quiet Golf's $114 performance polos
Cons:
- International buyers pay return postage, as they do with Quiet Golf
- UK orders carry shipping plus import duties
- No big and tall sizes, and no jackets with a waterproof rating
Verdict:
Criquet sells the country-club look in cotton, built around a throwback collared shirt. Its 60-day returns window is double Macade's and Lululemon's. UK buyers still pay shipping, import duties and return postage, so choose it for the cotton and the time, not an easier import.
Lululemon Golf: Best for Quiet Technical Kit From a Brand With UK Stores

Available on: lululemon.co.uk · Read our full Lululemon Golf review
Key Features:
- The Vancouver athleisure company, whose "Designed for Golf" line has run since spring 2022
- ABC golf trousers in Warpstreme four-way stretch fabric, plus ShowZero polos in Classic-Fit and Slim-Fit
- Separate men's and women's golf ranges on the UK site, including skirts and a golf dress
- PGA Tour players Min Woo Lee and Max Homa lead its golf roster
Pros:
- More than 20 UK stores, free delivery over £50 and free 30-day returns, with nothing to import
- Free trouser hemming in its UK stores
- A women's golf range of polos (£58–£78), skirts (£88–£108) and a golf dress (£128), where Quiet Golf has none
Cons:
- No cheaper: men's polos were £78–£88 and ABC golf trousers £138 in October 2026, the same as the San Marino Pant
- Headwear and hemmed or altered items can't be returned, and the £4 delivery charge under £50 isn't refunded
- No golf shoes, gloves or headcovers, where Quiet Golf makes Harris Tweed headcovers
Verdict:
Lululemon is the low-risk route in Britain: try the kit in a UK store and return it free. Its prices are much the same as Quiet Golf's, but they include VAT and need no customs step. It is athleisure rather than menswear, so don't expect shell buttons or corduroy.
Redvanly: Best for Pull-On Golf Trousers and Shorts

Available on: redvanly.com · Read our full Redvanly review
Key Features:
- New York family business founded in 2013 by Andrew Redvanly, with his cousin David Pagana and his brother Eric
- Says it introduced the first pull-on golf short and pant: an elastic waist behind a tailored, belt-looped look
- Named in-house fabrics including PUREpoly (88% polyester, 12% spandex), STRETCHknit and GLYDINGnylon
- Major League Baseball's golf apparel sponsor, with Rick Shiels its official apparel partner since June 2025
Pros:
- UK visitors see sterling prices: the Kent Pull-On Trouser showed at £120 and the Edmund Pique Polo at £85 in October 2026, a little under Quiet Golf's £138 and £89
- A flat, published $50 international shipping fee (about £38), where Quiet Golf prices shipping at checkout
- A near-perfect average from more than 10,000 customer reviews on its own site, where Quiet Golf shows none
Cons:
- No word on duties, so budget for UK import charges on top, as with Quiet Golf
- No UK stockist and no women's line, the same gaps as Quiet Golf
- Refunds within 30 days minus a $9 fee, and international returns start with an email
Verdict:
Redvanly suits golfers who like the San Marino Pant but want an elastic waist and more styles. It prices a little lower than Quiet Golf, publishes its shipping fee and has thousands of customer reviews behind it. The customs position is no clearer, though, so it is still an import.
Fairway & Greene: Best for Italian Merino Knitwear

Available on: fairwayandgreene.com · Read our full Fairway & Greene review
Key Features:
- Classic American golf brand, part of Summit Golf Brands alongside B.Draddy and Zero Restriction
- Windsweaters in Italian Zegna Baruffa Merino wool with a windproof taffeta lining
- Official staff uniform supplier to the PGA of America since 2025, and Ryder Cup player Sepp Straka signed in January 2026
- A full ladies' line, with polos and skorts alongside the men's polos, quarter-zips and vests
Pros:
- Proper knitwear, where Quiet Golf's Cashmere menu link leads to an empty page: Baruffa windsweaters ran £224–£314 before VAT in October 2026
- Cutaway-collar polos at £65–£69 before VAT, below Quiet Golf's £89
- The Caves Quarter Zip scored 5.0/5 from 108 buyer reviews in October 2026
- Men's sizes mostly run S–3XL, with some core styles to 5XL, where Quiet Golf stops at XXL
Cons:
- UK returns and exchanges are accepted, but you pay the return postage to the US
- Prices exclude VAT, and no UK delivery fee is published
- Not stocked by American Golf, Scottsdale Golf, Function18, Clubhouse Golf or GolfOnline in October 2026
Verdict:
Fairway & Greene fills Quiet Golf's knitwear gap with merino windsweaters from a named Italian mill, and its polos cost less. The catch is that VAT comes on top of its pound prices, and you pay the return postage if a size is wrong.
Quick Comparison Grid
| Brand | Best For | Price Range | Sustainability |
| Quiet Golf | Understated, logo-light polos | £££ | None published (no sustainability claims or certifications) |

| Sounder Golf | Considered design shipped from London | £££ | Moderate: organic cotton polos made in Portugal and carbon-offset shipping; no brand-wide certification |
| Three Putt Golf | Golf streetwear for off the course | £–££ | No recycled-content or eco claims; tees are 100% cotton |
| Criquet | Cotton shirts with a 60-day returns window | £££ | None published (no sustainability page or third-party certifications) |
| Lululemon Golf | Quiet technical kit from UK shops | £££ | Mixed: 77% recycled polyester in 2024, but its single-use plastic target was dropped in late 2025 |
| Redvanly | Pull-on golf trousers and shorts | £££ | None stated (no sustainability page) |
| Fairway & Greene | Italian merino knitwear | ££–££££ | Low: a Summit-wide page of general aims, with no certifications or figures for the brand |
Summary
Quiet Golf makes good-looking, carefully specified clothes: £89 performance polos with shell buttons, a Supima cotton polo made in Portugal and handmade Harris Tweed headcovers.
The trouble for UK golfers is the buying terms. Customs charges sit with you, the two returns pages disagree, approved returns can carry a 5% restocking fee and orders can't be cancelled. The range is small too, with no knitwear, no tees and nothing for women in October 2026.
Macade ranks first because it keeps the restrained look and pays the duty at checkout. Sounder brings organic cotton from London, Criquet gives you 60 days and Lululemon puts the kit in UK shops. Redvanly does pull-on trousers with a published shipping fee, and Fairway & Greene has the merino, if you can live with VAT on top.
Three Putt covers the off-course side, the hoodies and tees, with free UK delivery. For more labels you can buy without an import step, see our guide to UK golf brands.

Frequently Asked Questions About Quiet Golf
Does Quiet Golf ship to the UK?
Yes. UK visitors see prices in pounds, and international shipping is priced by country and order weight at checkout. Orders ship within five business days and can take one to two weeks to arrive. Quiet Golf says it takes no responsibility for customs charges, so budget for import VAT, possible duty and a courier fee on delivery.
Why does Quiet Golf's shipping page mention gifts?
Its shipping page says it does its best to mark orders as gifts, but that it can't control customs charges. On GOV.UK, gift treatment applies to items bought and sent between individuals, not companies, for personal use. An order from a shop doesn't fit that description, so plan to pay any import charges yourself rather than relying on the gift label.
What is Quiet Golf's returns policy?
It depends which page you read. The returns page allows 30 days from delivery, with a 5% restocking fee on approved returns. The store's refund policy says 14 days, and you start by emailing the brand. There are no direct exchanges and no returns on sale items or gift cards. International buyers pay return postage, and duties aren't refunded.
How much does Quiet Golf cost in pounds?
On the UK store in October 2026, Active Pique and Active Jersey polos were £89, the long-sleeve Hampton polo £97 and the Vintage Supima Cotton Polo £92. The Monterey Hoodie and San Marino Short were £115, the San Marino Pant £138 and the Cardroom Corduroy Jacket £154. Hats ran £39–£43. All of these are before shipping and any import charges.
Is Quiet Golf clothing made from natural fibres?
Mostly not. Eight of its nine polos are 90–96% polyester performance knits, with spandex for stretch. The exception is the Vintage Supima Cotton Polo, which is 96% Supima cotton and made in Portugal. The San Marino trousers and shorts are 57% cotton, 35% nylon and 8% spandex, and the Monterey Hoodie mixes cotton, modal and nylon.
Does Quiet Golf sell women's clothing?
Not in October 2026. The women's collection page on quietgolf.com is empty, tops run S–XXL in a single size run, and bottoms come in 28–36 waists. For an understated women's golf range, Macade and Lululemon both sell polos, skirts and golf dresses, and Fairway & Greene sells polos and skorts.
Who founded Quiet Golf?
Christion Lennon co-founded Quiet Golf in 2021 with brothers Raul and Diego Diaz. Lennon, who launched the brand Museum of Peace & Quiet in 2019, is CEO. In October 2024 the company closed a seed round led by Old Tom Capital, a golf-focused investment firm. Its flagship store is at 2949 Randolph Ave in Costa Mesa, with a Foresight simulator inside.
Can you buy Quiet Golf in UK shops?
Not at the major UK golf retailers: American Golf, Scottsdale Golf, Function18, Clubhouse Golf and GolfOnline didn't list it in October 2026. In Europe, Bisque Golf in Amsterdam stocks it and lists the UK among its delivery countries. An order from the EU still faces UK import charges, so most UK buyers order direct from quietgolf.com.
