B.Draddy vs Three Putt: Peruvian Pima Polos or UK Golf Streetwear

We test golf apparel the way we play. Hard, social, and honest.

A Presidents Cup outfitter selling Peruvian Pima polos, against a Leeds streetwear label that sells four heavyweight garments. One is made for the clubhouse, the other for everything around it.

How We Review Golf Clothing Brands

Every review on the Three Putt journal is written by Graeme Whiles, the founder of Three Putt Golf Clothing. As a competing brand, we have an obvious conflict of interest. We take this seriously and address it directly in our review methodology, which explains how we assess brands consistently regardless of whether they compete with us.

Verdict and Quick Pick

B.Draddy is a US luxury golf brand built on Peruvian Pima cotton polos, with knitwear up to Scottish cashmere and a women's line. Three Putt is a Leeds golf streetwear brand selling long-sleeves and heavyweight tees, sweatshirts and hoodies from £24.99. Pick B.Draddy for the course and clubhouse, Three Putt for off it.

Best for golf style off the course on a UK budget: Three Putt. Heavyweight cotton tees and hoodies with golf graphics, priced in pounds from £24.99 to £54.99 with free UK delivery. It is casual wear, not performance kit.

Best for soft collared polos and luxury knitwear: B.Draddy. Its Pima polos meet a collared-shirt dress code, and the knitwear climbs to cashmere. UK buyers see prices in pounds, but those prices exclude VAT and no UK delivery rate is published.

Brand Overview

Three Putt Golf

Three Putt is a UK golf streetwear brand based in Leeds. The range is deliberately narrow: tees, long-sleeve tees, sweatshirts and hoodies.

Each comes in six graphic designs: Contours, Happy Place, Tee Time, Reckless Driving, The Scenic Route and Three on the Green. The idea is golf culture you can wear anywhere, not a full on-course wardrobe.

That brings honest limits. The range has no performance polos, trousers, shorts, outerwear, waterproofs or caps, and no women's-specific line. If your club has a collared-shirt dress code, you will want a polo rather than a tee.

B.Draddy

B.Draddy was founded in 2013 by Billy Draddy, and the name is shorthand for "Brothers Draddy". Billy is the third generation of Draddys in sportswear. His great-uncle, Vincent dePaul Draddy, built Izod and brought Lacoste's alligator shirt to America.

It began with the Liam polo, named after Billy's son, in what the brand calls organic long-staple Peruvian Pima cotton. B.Draddy now sits inside Summit Golf Brands, alongside Fairway & Greene and Zero Restriction.

Its tour credentials are serious. B.Draddy dressed both teams at the 2026 Presidents Cup at Medinah, as it did in 2024. With Zero Restriction, it also supplies the US Solheim Cup team for 2026 and 2028. Its ambassadors include Open champions Brian Harman and Justin Leonard, and Europe's 2014 Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley.

For British golfers, the catch is the buying. Prices switch to pounds for UK visitors, but there are no UK stockists and no published UK delivery or duty terms.

Key Features and Fabrics

Three Putt Golf

  • Tees: 100% cotton, 305gsm, relaxed fit, S–2XL, five colourways per design.
  • Long-sleeve tees: 305gsm, 100% cotton, oversized drop-shoulder fit, S–XL.
  • Sweatshirts: 400gsm cotton crewneck, regular fit, S–2XL.
  • Hoodies: 430gsm, 56% cotton / 44% polyester, oversized drop-shoulder fit, S–2XL, four colourways per design.

These are heavyweight casual garments, not technical performance wear. Do not expect moisture-wicking, stretch fabric or weather protection.

B.Draddy

  • Pima polos: the Liam and the striped Tommy are 92% Peruvian Pima cotton and 8% spandex, made in Peru. Both are easy-care jersey with a one-piece collar and a vented hem.
  • Performance polo: the Captain Cool is the hot-weather option: a light, textured 94% nylon and 6% spandex jersey that wicks and carries UPF 50+.
  • Tees and hoodies: the Dewey tee is made in Peru, and the Andy Cotton Hoodie blends Peruvian Pima cotton with polyester and nylon in a quilted double knit.
  • Knitwear: quarter-zips include the stretch Doc and the Jack cotton quarter-zip. The knitwear climbs through Italian merino to the Elliott, in 100% Scottish cashmere.
  • Trousers and jackets: the Ambassador Pant is a stretch polyester trouser, and the Everyday Jacket leads the outerwear. None of it is sold as a golf waterproof; within Summit, rainwear is Zero Restriction's job.

One garment from each sums up the gap. A Three Putt tee is a heavyweight cotton canvas for a golf graphic. A B.Draddy Liam is a soft, stretchy collared shirt that will pass a dress code.

Price Comparison

Category Three Putt B.Draddy
Tees £24.99–£30.99 About £62 for the Dewey tee
Long-sleeve tees £28.99–£35.99 About £81 for the Dewey long-sleeve tee
Polos Not in the range About £85 Liam, £91 Tommy and £99 Captain Cool
Sweatshirts and quarter-zips £37.99–£47.99 sweatshirts About £119 for the Doc and £135 for the Jack quarter-zip
Hoodies £45.99–£54.99 About £214 for the Andy Cotton Hoodie
Cashmere and merino Not in the range About £572 for the Elliott Scottish cashmere quarter-zip
Trousers Not in the range About £129 for the Ambassador Pant
Outerwear Not in the range About £238 for the Everyday Jacket
Caps Not in the range About £30

B.Draddy prices are what bdraddy.com shows a UK visitor in October 2026, at full price. They are straight conversions of US prices ($110 for the Liam) with no UK VAT added. That means they can move by a pound or two with the exchange rate.

Its terms say posted prices exclude taxes, shipping, customs and import charges. Under UK rules on goods from abroad, VAT applies to parcels from overseas, and customs duty can be due on those worth over £135.

A Liam and a Tommy together come to about £176. That is over the £135 line, so 20% import VAT alone would add about £35, before delivery, any duty and a courier's handling fee. Sale items are final sale.

Price Verdict

Three Putt's dearest item, a £54.99 hoodie, costs less than a single Liam polo before VAT. Its dearest tee, at £30.99, is under half the price of a Dewey tee. B.Draddy's prices buy finer fibres and a collar, but for value per pound in Britain, Three Putt wins clearly.

Fit and Sizing

Three Putt Golf

Three Putt sizes run S–2XL, except the long-sleeves, which are cut oversized and run S–XL. Tees have a relaxed fit, long-sleeves a loose drop shoulder, and sweatshirts a regular fit. Hoodies are oversized with a drop shoulder, so size down if you want a closer look.

B.Draddy

B.Draddy cuts a modern tailored fit: trimmer than an old-school country-club polo, softer than a tour-athletic one. It runs true to size; between sizes, go up. On the Liam's product page, the model is 6ft 1in and wears a medium.

Size ranges vary by style. The Liam and Tommy run S–2XL, the Captain Cool polo and Dewey tee go to 3XL, and the Elliott cashmere reaches 5XL. Women's polos run XS–XL, with some in 2XL.

Fit Verdict

Neither brand is built for big and tall golfers. B.Draddy's core polos stop at 2XL, like most of the Three Putt range. Choose B.Draddy for a trim, tailored polo and Three Putt for roomy streetwear shapes. A wrong B.Draddy size from Britain goes back at your own cost.

Style and Versatility

Three Putt Golf

Three Putt is golf streetwear: golf-themed graphics on heavyweight fabric, cut in relaxed and oversized shapes. A hoodie works on a casual range session, at the pub after a round, or as a weekend layer. It is not the right shirt for a members' competition at a traditional club, so check your golf dress code first.

B.Draddy

B.Draddy's look is vintage country-club ease: sun-faded colours, clean collars and stripes on the Tommy. The logo is a small compass at the back hem, so the shirt does the talking. The brand pitches its range for "the course, the clubhouse, the commute and beyond".

A Liam under a Jack quarter-zip looks as right at Sunday lunch as on the first tee. What B.Draddy doesn't do is make a statement: golfers who want graphics or streetwear shapes will find it quiet.

Style Verdict

Both brands cross over, in different directions. B.Draddy moves from the course to the clubhouse and the office. Three Putt moves from golf culture into everyday streetwear. Choose by where you will wear it most: on a course with a dress code, or everywhere else.

Quality, Durability and Sustainability

Three Putt Golf

Three Putt's quality story is weight. Tees are 305gsm cotton, sweatshirts are 400gsm and hoodies are 430gsm. On sustainability, Three Putt makes no recycled-content or eco claims. Its tees are 100% cotton.

B.Draddy

B.Draddy's quality case is natural fibre. Its core polos are long-staple Peruvian Pima, which the brand says gets softer with wear, and product pages state they are made in Peru. That is more origin detail than most golf brands give. The knitwear tops out in 100% Scottish cashmere.

Cotton runs warmer than synthetics on a hot day, which is why the nylon Captain Cool exists.

The brand's sustainability page claims Oeko-Tex certified mills and Fair Trade certification, but shows no certificate numbers. The "organic" Pima claim sits in marketing copy, with no named certificate. The page also headlines "100% Natural Fibers", though the Captain Cool polo is nylon and spandex.

Quality Verdict

B.Draddy wins on materials, from Pima to cashmere, and on saying where its polos are made. Its eco claims run ahead of the evidence it publishes. Three Putt wins on heavyweight fabric at a low price, and makes no eco claims at all. Choose B.Draddy for fine fabrics, and Three Putt for heavy casual layers.

Customer Support and Returns

Three Putt Golf

Delivery is free across the UK. Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery. Email support@threeputtgolfclothing.co.uk first, and note that you pay the return postage. Support is by email.

B.Draddy

B.Draddy's returns page gives 30 days on non-custom, non-decorated items bought direct. Return shipping is free only if you add its Complimentary Returns Coverage at checkout; otherwise, a $10 processing fee and the label cost apply. Sale and decorated items are final sale.

International returns are accepted, but you pay the return shipping and buy the label from a local carrier. Refunds can take up to 14 business days once the parcel arrives.

Support runs by phone on (833) 511-0965, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:30pm Eastern time, which is 2pm to 10:30pm in the UK. There is also customercare@bdraddy.com and a contact form. The shipping page lists US UPS services only.

Support Verdict

B.Draddy's phone line and 30-day window beat Three Putt's email-only support and 14-day window. From Britain, though, return postage to the US is yours, and VAT and duty can add to the bill. Three Putt is simpler for a UK buyer: prices in pounds and free UK delivery. With both brands, you pay to send a return.

Our Pick

Buy B.Draddy if you want soft collared polos with real heritage and don't mind paying for them. The Liam, Tommy and Captain Cool cover a dress-code round, and the Elliott cashmere covers a cold one. It suits golfers who will accept import charges and return postage to the US. Our full B.Draddy review covers the range in more depth.

Buy Three Putt if you want golf style for everywhere else, priced in pounds with free UK delivery. Heavyweight tees from £24.99 and hoodies under £55 cover the range session and the pub after. A sweatshirt or long-sleeve tee rounds it out. If your club requires a collar, you will want a polo rather than a tee.

Frequently Asked Questions About Three Putt vs B.Draddy

Is Three Putt a good alternative to B.Draddy?

For off-course style, yes, and at a fraction of the price. Three Putt sells long-sleeves and heavyweight tees, sweatshirts and hoodies from £24.99, priced in pounds with free UK delivery. It is not a full alternative for a dress-code round, because the range has no trousers or outerwear. For that, a B.Draddy polo is the stronger buy.

Does B.Draddy ship to the UK?

Yes. The UK is on its list of shipping countries, and selecting it switches prices to pounds. But the shipping page lists US rates only, so the UK delivery cost isn't published. Its terms say posted prices exclude taxes, shipping, customs and import charges, so expect UK VAT and possibly duty on top. There are no UK stockists.

How much does B.Draddy cost in the UK?

With the United Kingdom selected in October 2026, the Liam polo shows at about £85, the Tommy at about £91 and the Captain Cool at about £99. Quarter-zips run about £119–£135, and the Elliott cashmere about £572. These are straight conversions of US prices, with no UK VAT added.

Which is better on the course?

B.Draddy, clearly. Its collared polos meet a dress code, the Captain Cool adds a wicking, UPF 50+ fabric for hot days, and it sells golf trousers and shorts. Three Putt's tees and hoodies suit a relaxed round at an easy-going club, but offer no performance fabric or weather protection. Neither brand sells a golf waterproof.

Is Three Putt good quality?

Three Putt's quality case rests on fabric weight: 305gsm 100% cotton tees, 400gsm cotton sweatshirts and 430gsm cotton/polyester hoodies. That is substantial for casual wear at £24.99–£54.99. B.Draddy works in finer, softer materials, from Peruvian Pima to Scottish cashmere, at several times the price.

How do the fits differ?

B.Draddy cuts a modern tailored fit that runs true to size, so size up if you are between sizes. Its Liam and Tommy polos run S–2XL, with some styles to 3XL and the Elliott cashmere to 5XL. Three Putt cuts are roomier, from relaxed tees to oversized hoodies, in S–2XL, with the long-sleeves in S–XL.

Are B.Draddy and Three Putt sustainable?

B.Draddy makes the bigger claims: Oeko-Tex certified mills, Fair Trade certification and organic Pima cotton. It publishes no certificate numbers for them, though it does state that its core polos are made in Peru. Three Putt makes no recycled-content or eco claims. Its tees are 100% cotton.

Which is better value?

For a UK buyer, Three Putt. Its whole range sits between £24.99 and £54.99, with free UK delivery. A B.Draddy Liam polo is about £85 before VAT and delivery, and sale items are final sale. B.Draddy's prices buy finer fabrics and a collar, but pound for pound, Three Putt costs far less.
