Antigua Golf vs Three Putt: US Corporate Polos or UK Golf Streetwear

We test golf apparel the way we play. Hard, social, and honest.

An Arizona polo house that has dressed American pro shops, golf days and team stores since 1976, against a Leeds streetwear label with four heavyweight garments. Only one of them ships its own range to Britain.
How We Review Golf Clothing Brands
Every review on the Three Putt journal is written by Graeme Whiles, the founder of Three Putt Golf Clothing. As a competing brand, we have an obvious conflict of interest. We take this seriously and address it directly in our review methodology, which explains how we assess brands consistently regardless of whether they compete with us.
Verdict and Quick Pick
Antigua Golf is an Arizona brand making performance polos, quarter-zips and licensed team wear in sizes up to 5X, but its own store ships only to the US. Three Putt is a Leeds golf streetwear brand selling heavyweight tees and hoodies in pounds. Antigua dresses the American golf day; Three Putt dresses the UK clubhouse.
Best for UK golfers who want golf style off the course: Three Putt. Golf-graphic tees from £23.99 and 430gsm hoodies from £45.99, delivered free across the UK. It's casual cotton clothing, so it won't satisfy a collared-shirt rule or keep the rain off.
Best for US buyers, big sizes and TGL fans: Antigua. Wicking polos from $40 (about £31) in sizes up to 5X, built to carry a club or company logo. From Britain, only its TGL team gear is easy to order, through Fanatics' TGL shop.

Brand Overview
Three Putt Golf
Three Putt is a UK golf streetwear brand based in Leeds. It sells four garments: tees, long-sleeve tees, sweatshirts and hoodies.
Each comes in six graphic designs: Contours, Happy Place, Tee Time, Reckless Driving, The Scenic Route and Three on the Green. The aim is golf culture you can wear anywhere, rather than a full on-course wardrobe.
That focus brings honest limits. The range has no polos, trousers, shorts, outerwear, waterproofs or caps, and no women's-specific line. If your club has a collared-shirt dress code, you will need a polo from elsewhere.

Antigua Golf
Antigua began in 1976, when Tom Dooley started Eagle Golf of Scottsdale in his Arizona garage. He renamed it Antigua in 1979 after a Caribbean holiday. It now runs from Peoria, Arizona, under chief executive Keith Kealer, and its store still says "Our heritage is based in golf apparel".
Golf is one part of a much bigger business. The store listed more than 5,700 products in October 2026, much of it licensed gear for US leagues, colleges, TGL teams and Manchester City. Antigua dressed the 1993 US Ryder Cup team, and Team Antigua lists LPGA players including Stacy Lewis and Lizette Salas.
There's a British connection, too. In 2003 a controlling interest went to Ashley NA, part of Mike Ashley's sports retail group, and IBML, Frasers Group's licensing arm, lists Antigua beside Slazenger.
Yet the golf range isn't on British shelves. Antigua's own store ships only to US addresses, and American Golf, Function18, GolfOnline and Sports Direct listed no Antigua clothing in October 2026. The one working route is Fanatics' TGL shop, with 267 Antigua pieces across seven TGL teams.
Key Features and Fabrics
Three Putt Golf
- Tees: 100% cotton, 260gsm, relaxed fit, S–3XL, five colourways per design.
- Long-sleeve tees: 280gsm, 85% cotton / 15% polyester, loose drop-shoulder fit, S–2XL.
- Sweatshirts: 400gsm cotton crewneck, regular fit, S–2XL.
- Hoodies: 430gsm, 56% cotton / 44% polyester, oversized drop-shoulder fit, S–2XL, four colourways per design.
These are heavyweight casual garments, not technical performance wear. They make no claims to moisture-wicking, stretch fabric or weather protection.
Antigua Golf
- Fall 26 golf polos ($65): the Trigon, Solve, Scramble, Eager and Andros, in 180gsm 94% polyester / 6% spandex with four-way stretch, Desert Dry wicking and UPF 50+. Listed online in M–XL only.
- Tribute Polo ($45): 100% polyester interlock at 175gsm, moisture-wicking, S–5X. Antigua calls it one of its bestselling styles.
- Legacy piqué polo ($40): 100% polyester piqué, the plain workhorse for an embroidered club crest, up to 5X.
- Reprocess Polo ($45 full price): 90% recycled polyester / 10% spandex at 180gsm, S–3X.
- Midlayers and outerwear: quarter-zips at $55–$75 and jackets at $65–$85. The Links 2 bonds micro-fleece to a waterproof membrane, but there's no dedicated golf rain jacket.
The contrast is simple: light, wicking polyester to play in, against heavier cotton to wear before and after the round.
Price Comparison
| Category | Three Putt | Antigua (US store, October 2026; about £ at $1.30) |
|---|---|---|
| Tees and polos | £23.99–£29.99 tees | $40 Legacy piqué (£31); $45 Tribute (£35); $55 Skills (£42); $65 Fall 26 golf polos (£50); $70 Cruise and Ananas (£54) |
| Long sleeves and midlayers | £27.99–£32.99 long-sleeve tees | $55–$75 quarter-zips (£42–£58) |
| Sweatshirts and hoodies | £34.99–£49.99 sweatshirts; £45.99–£51.99 hoodies | $50–$68 Victory fleece (£38–£52); $75 Effortless full-zip hood (£58) |
| Trousers and shorts | Not in the range | No men's golf trousers or shorts; women's skorts $50–$65 |
| Outerwear | Not in the range | $65–$85 jackets (£50–£65) |
| TGL team polos | Not in the range | $60–$73 on Antigua's US-only store |
| Delivery to a UK address | Free | Not available from Antigua's store; TGL team gear only, via Fanatics' TGL shop, with 20% VAT on orders up to £135 |
Antigua's dollar prices are fair. A $65 printed performance polo undercuts most golf brands, though the biggest sizes cost a little more: the Tribute is $48 in 3X to 5X.
The catch is that UK golfers can't pay those prices. The golf collections can't be shipped to Britain, and TGL shop prices differ from Antigua's own. In October 2026 a New York Golf Club Skills polo was $80.99 (about £62) there, against $70 for a TGL Skills polo on Antigua's store.
Price Verdict
For an American buyer, Antigua is good value: wicking polos from $40 in sizes to 5X. For a UK buyer it's lopsided. Three Putt's £23.99 tee arrives free, while Antigua's golf range doesn't arrive at all.
Fit and Sizing
Three Putt Golf
Three Putt tees run S–3XL, and the long-sleeves, sweatshirts and hoodies run S–2XL. Tees have a relaxed fit, long-sleeves a loose drop shoulder and sweatshirts a regular fit. Hoodies are oversized with a drop shoulder, so size down if you want a closer look. There is no women's-specific range.
Antigua Golf
Antigua cuts for real golfers rather than tour physiques. Its polos are a classic fit, with comfort-fit sleeves and high-low hems that work tucked or untucked. The size chart is in inches: a men's medium covers a 38–40 inch chest and a large 42–44 inches.
The range is wide on the core styles. The Tribute and Legacy polos run S–5X, and women's core styles XS–3X. The new Fall 26 golf polos were listed online in M–XL only in October 2026, and the store's Big & Tall page showed no products. Men's jackets run S–3X.
Fit Verdict
Antigua wins on size range: 5X polos against Three Putt's 3XL tees and 2XL hoodies. From Britain, though, a wrong size means a parcel back to the US. Three Putt's relaxed and oversized cuts are a style choice, not a swing feature.
Style and Versatility
Three Putt Golf
Three Putt is golf streetwear: graphic designs on heavyweight cotton, in relaxed and oversized shapes. A tee or hoodie suits a casual range session, the pub after a round or a weekend away. It isn't the top for a members' competition, and it is no use in a downpour.
Antigua Golf
Antigua's look is the clean club-shop classic: plain piqués, shadow stripes, double stripes and sublimated geo and floral prints. Almost everything is built to carry an embroidered logo. That's why it turns up in American pro shops, on team stores and at corporate golf days.
A collared Antigua polo meets the usual golf dress code. Off the course, it reads as smart sportswear, or as fan wear in the team ranges.
Style Verdict
Antigua is the safer choice where a collar is required, and the obvious one for a logoed golf-day order in America. Three Putt has far more personality for the clubhouse, the car park and the weekend. Neither is trying to be the other.

Quality, Durability and Sustainability
Three Putt Golf
Three Putt's quality story is weight: 260gsm cotton tees, 280gsm long-sleeves, 400gsm sweatshirts and 430gsm hoodies. On sustainability, Three Putt makes no recycled-content or eco claims. Its tees are 100% cotton.
Antigua Golf
Antigua's fabrics are honest performance commodities, made to take embroidery and repeated washing. Independent evidence is thin, though. There's no Trustpilot profile, and the Tribute polo held 5.0 from seven on-site reviews in October 2026.
Sourcing is the surprise. Antigua is a Fair Labor Association participant with a published supplier list. Recycled content appears on only a few styles, such as the Reprocess Polo, which is 90% recycled polyester. Product descriptions don't state the country of manufacture, and no environmental certification is named.
Quality Verdict
Antigua makes fit-for-purpose golf fabrics and discloses more about its factories than most mid-market brands. Three Putt wins on fabric weight for the money, though cotton is no help in the rain. On sustainability Antigua has the edge, with a labour programme and a few recycled styles, while Three Putt makes no eco claims.
Customer Support and Returns
Three Putt Golf
Delivery is free across the UK. Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery. Email support@threeputtgolfclothing.co.uk first, and note that you pay the return postage. Support is by email.
Antigua Golf
Antigua's service is built for American customers. Its shipping page lists FedEx services only, and the store won't take a UK address. Support runs by phone on 1-800-555-8706, Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm Pacific, and by email.
Its returns policy gives 30 days from the ship date for a refund or exchange, on unworn items with tags. Return postage is free only if Antigua sent the wrong item or it arrived damaged.
For UK buyers, Fanatics' TGL shop is the service that matters. Its Great Britain terms promise tracked delivery in 4–10 business days. It charges 20% VAT on orders up to £135 and adds a clearance charge at checkout above that, so nothing is due on delivery. International returns go back to Ohio, prepaid and tracked.
Support Verdict
For UK golfers, Three Putt wins: delivery is free and prices are in pounds. Antigua's own returns policy is more generous, with 30 days and exchanges, but only American shoppers can use it. Through the TGL shop, a return means a tracked parcel to Ohio.
Our Pick
Buy Antigua if you live in the US and need collared polos for a dress code or a corporate golf day, or need sizes up to 5X. Its wicking polos are fairly priced and take a logo well. From the UK, only its TGL team gear is easy to buy, through Fanatics' TGL shop.
Buy Three Putt if you're in the UK and want golf style for everything around the round. Heavyweight tees from £23.99, long-sleeve tees, sweatshirts and hoodies under £52 arrive with free UK delivery. Three Putt makes no rainwear, and you will still need a collared polo from elsewhere if your club requires one.
The two barely compete. Antigua is the polo with the company logo on the chest, and Three Putt is what you wear to the bar afterwards. For more US labels and how they reach British golfers, see our guide to American golf brands.

Frequently Asked Questions About Three Putt vs Antigua Golf
Is Three Putt a good alternative to Antigua Golf?
Only for part of what Antigua does. Antigua makes collared performance polos, quarter-zips and team wear for the course and the golf day. Three Putt makes heavyweight cotton tees, long-sleeves, sweatshirts and hoodies, with no collared shirts or rainwear. For a UK golfer it's the easier buy, but it only replaces the off-course half.
Can you buy Antigua golf clothing in the UK?
Not from Antigua. Its own store ships only to US addresses, and major UK golf retailers listed no Antigua clothing in October 2026. The working route is Fanatics' TGL shop, which sells Antigua's TGL team gear and ships to Great Britain in 4–10 business days. The golf collections can't be shipped here.
Which is better on the course?
Antigua, by some distance. Its golf polos use Desert Dry wicking, four-way stretch and UPF 50+, and the collars satisfy a dress code. Three Putt's cotton tees and hoodies suit a dry, relaxed round at an easy-going club. Neither makes a dedicated golf waterproof or men's golf trousers.
Which is better value for a UK golfer?
Three Putt, mainly because you can buy it here: tees cost £23.99–£29.99 with free UK delivery. Antigua's $40–$70 polos are fair value in America, but its store won't ship to Britain. On the TGL shop, a New York Golf Club Skills polo was $80.99 (about £62) in October 2026, plus VAT.
How do the fits and sizes compare?
Antigua covers more bodies. Its Tribute and Legacy polos run S–5X in a classic fit, women's core styles run XS–3X, and the chart is in inches. The Fall 26 golf polos were listed in M–XL only. Three Putt tees run S–3XL and its other garments S–2XL, with no women's-specific range.
Are Antigua and Three Putt sustainable?
Antigua has more to point to. It's a Fair Labor Association participant with a published supplier list, and its Reprocess Polo is 90% recycled polyester. That's one of only a few recycled styles, though, and no environmental certification is named. Three Putt makes no recycled-content or eco claims; its tees are 100% cotton.
Which is better for a corporate golf day or society?
Antigua, if the order is going to a US address. Its polos and quarter-zips are built to carry an embroidered logo, in sizes up to 5X. For a UK society, the US-only store is the problem. Three Putt suits the other end of the day: tees and hoodies for the bar afterwards.
Which has better delivery and returns?
For UK golfers, Three Putt: delivery is free and prices are in pounds. Returns are 14 days from delivery, emailing support first, with postage at your cost. Antigua's 30-day returns with exchanges apply to US orders. TGL shop orders arrive in 4–10 business days, and international returns go back to Ohio.
