Why People Look Beyond Backtee

UK golfers look beyond Backtee because of how it is sold, not how it is made. The Danish brand sells from its own webshop in euros, charges €25 delivery on non-EU orders under €150, leaves import charges to you, and has no men's rain jacket or junior range.

Backtee is a golf clothing brand from Silkeborg, founded in 1994, and its shop is organised by weather: sun, wind, cold and rain. The kit is properly specified. Its 4Way Stretch Pro Rain Trousers are 3-layer, rated 15,000mm waterproof with 15,000 breathability, and come in S–4XL with 31" and 34" legs.

The materials story is unusual too. Several polos and sports dresses use 50% Kafetex, a fabric made from coffee grounds, and some polos use recycled fibres. Its ambassador page lists six professionals, including DP World Tour winners Joachim B. Hansen and Morten Ørum Madsen. On Trustpilot it held 4.9 out of 5 from 491 reviews in October 2026.
